Pros:

Smoothes skin, improves texture and color, makes pores look smaller, helps fade marks.

Cons:

consistence and smell are not perfect, but you get used to it easily enough.

I have been using this product as a mosturizer after BP for the last 4 days. My skin feels so nice and smooth as it hasn't been for years. Even though I am on BP for several months, skin peeling was always a problem. Since I started on AHA there is no further peeling or irritation. I love this product. I am starting today on my back and I'm looking forward to the results!

Pros:

A wonderful exfoliant and moisturizer. Will shrink existing acne and fade red marks. Can also be used to prevent ingrown hairs after shaving.

Cons:

Nothing unexpected (stings a little - or a LOT if you put it on after an irritating shave), makes you more susceptible to UV rays (which is good since it forces you to put on sunscreen daily, there's no excuse)

This is the closest thing to a wonder product that I've used. It works on every problem I have. It moisturizes astoundingly well - if I have gone overboard and put my face through the ringer one day and over-dried it, I'll put this on and I'll wake up with a soft, smooth face without a hint of dryness, something that Dan's moisturizer wouldn't be able to do (I'd have to slather with olive oil to get that kind of moisturization). It exfoliates well and gives my skin a glow to it. It shrinks existing pimples a lot faster than BP alone will do. I also just realized I had a problem with ingrown hairs on my neck where I shave - before I had thought it was just acne marks. I used some glycolic acid on the neck after shaving yesterday and I'm already noticing that the ingrown hairs are popping out. I try to be a minimalist and personally I think this is one of the few essential products you need for skin health.

Pros:

Does an excellent job of clearing acne, while also managing to fade scars and red marks in a less effective but still noticeable fashion. It makes excellent use of very high quality ingredients. Cheap

Cons:

It smells very unusual, makes your skin extra vulnerable to the sun (I burned very badly just spending some time at an outdoor mall), is runny, and has on occasion irritated and burned my skin. Horrible Container. Expensive Shipping.

This is an effective treatment for acne, and I would heartily recommend to anyone not seeing the results they're looking for on the standard regimen. Its very difficult for me to wrap my head around the idea that this helps keep your skin moisturized AND treats acne AND fades pesky red marks and mild acne scarring. Considering just how much it does, the side effects (which can be equally intense) are a fair trade-off. If you can find the line between being generous with it and not using too much so as to burn your face off, you can minimize the side effects so long as you also incorporate sunscreen (or a moisturizer with SPF) when you go out in the day if you had put some on the night before. I never tried it outside of my face, so I can't attest to it working or not working for bacne, ect.

Pros:

This stuff works great. I got my tube last night and used it as a spot treatment. The pimple I used it on had been forming for a couple days. Although it's not completely gone today it no longer hurts and the inflammation has gone down a lot.

The tube is huge for the price. It stings a little tiny bit when you put it on, but it's worth it. I've never had a spot treatment work like this before.

Best thing for smooth textured skin
I use the whole acne.org regimen and this AHA lotion is a very necessary component. I mix it with my moisturizer to use after benzoyl peroxide every night and it (along with the rest of the regimen) keeps my skin flake-free and smooth. PLEASE introduce this product gradually and according to instructions! It stung a little bit at first, but my skin quickly adjusted. I've been using it for 8 months and couldn't be more pleased. By the way, I am a woman in my 50s with extremely oily skin. The acne.org regimen is the ONLY thing that has worked so well and I've been trying all kinds of prescription and OTC products for 40 years.

For perfect skin use this!
Ok so I started using the regimen a couple months ago and while my skin was clear of acne, I was left with really dry flaky tight skin which created an awful texture that was SUPER visible. I hated it as much as my acne, so I really wasn't feeling to happy about the results. I purchased this as it is recommended for fading post acne marks as well as getting rid of dry skin, i've been using this for a couple weeks in the evenings and omg, my skin not only isn't flaky and dry but it looks amazingly smooth! You wouldn't even know I'm an acne sufferer. I can't wait to see the results in a month because my spots are already fading and I love the way my skin looks! BUY THIS!!! and follow the instructions!

Acne is a thing of the past but AHA just might be FOREVER
I added this to enhance Acne.org BP effectiveness for persistent adult acne. Acne has been gone for years but this AHA -- I use it once or twice a week all over to smooth, exfoliate and fight dry, aging skin from my face to my feet. The price is right and the ingredients are non-comedogenic. Customer for life, here.

Results in ONE NIGHT!!
I've never had bad skin thankfully however, I've never had great skin. When I was younger, it was pretty greasy but I left it alone. In fact, I didn't actually start using face wash until I was 15. I didn't start wearing make up until I was 25. Even then , the use of both cleansers and cosmetics was pretty unstructured. When I got into my 30's I started "treating my skin right" and it's not been always a big help. I had a proactiv phase, because I had such congested skin. It was a beautiful few years with crystal clear, perfect skin. Then, as the story goes, all hell broke loose and my skin went to s*&#@ and I stopped using it. My skin has never been the same. For years I've spent hundreds of dollars looking for cleansers toners moisturizers and treatments that might bring back that healthy glow I had in my early 30s (unfortunately while using Proactiv) So I ordered this AHA. Salicylic acid and my skin do not get along. I find SA to be irritating and drying. However in the pursuit of clarity I tried many salicylic acid toners from Clinique to Paulas Choice to Stridex. Last night, I used this BHA after cleansing. I mixed it with my moisturizer. I woke up this morning to a more even toned complexion, lighter and slightly rosy, melasma was even faded a bit. Yes, I was dry when I woke up, but I think this aha may be what I havebeen seeking. I'll update in 3 weeks

Pros:

- cleared up my skin

Cons:

- bit expensive to add it to the regimen

Worth the money. When I added aha+ to the regimen I saw results within days. Day routine= cleanser, treatment and aha+. Night routine= cleanser, treatment and moisturizer. Btw I have spent a loooooot of money on a loooot of products and I really wish I had discovered acne. org regimen and aha+ earlier....
