broke me out!!
I had no problems with this product flaking off or making my face itchy. It absorbed into the skin quickly and the awful smell faded away after a short while. Only problem I had was that it broke me out! I would be careful with this if you have acne prone skin.

The title and the description cancel each other out

Pros:

None for me

Cons:

Caused huge cystic breakouts, ...and ultimately more scars.

Tried it twice. Both times it caused large painful cysts to form after 3 or 4 days of use. I wouldn't reccomend this product for severe acne at all.

Pros:

Cooling effect, not messy.

Cons:

No visible change: used it for post surgical scar.

Probably good for very small scars and recently acquired scar, it is definitely not for post surgical scars.

Pros:

Maybe I should try the gel instead of cream.

Cons:

I bought the cream with SPF and I have been using it for about a month now, and it actually made my acne scars worst. I can see that the scars darkened and deepened, so seeing the other reviews, I'll try the gel.

It made my scars worse

Pros:

I don't really have scars from acne, just red marks. It's made them less purple and more to the color red.

Cons:

I can't apply it 4x a day. It makes my skin red wherever its been after i get out of the shower.

Hmm. I can use it when I don't have a breakout and I do see a difference in a week or so. I just absolutely hate that it leaves my skin SUPER itchy

Pros:

none!

Cons:

wow, okay. im 15 and i have a very mild case of acne. the 3 pimples a month that are large kinda thing. but, however, i do tend to pick at pimples and i had about 6 large scars on my forehead. i bought mederma and guess what?! I now have severe acne!

THANKS MEDERMA FOR TOTALLY SCREWING UP MY ALMOST GREAT FACE! wow...it works for some people? just ask a pharmacist about it and they'll tell you if it'll work for you. my skin is sensetive...maybe thats why. I dunno...

Pros:

not sure if it works. been using for about two months about 3-7 times a day (more on weekends when im not in class).

Cons:

very expensive at around 25 bucks a bottle. leaves a filmy residue on your face. a lot of people complain about the smell, but frankly i nor any of my friends have noticed it. they do make fun of me when they see the dried film on my face.

expensive, "your mileage may vary", slow acting, causes itching, leaves filmy residue. neosporin may be a better alternative depending on the application. seems that everyone swears by this stuff, but i personally havent seen the merits of this product. nonetheless, ill continue to use it until the bottle runs out. might as well since i spent so much money on it. ive gotten used to the itch and its kinda theruputic at this point...
