Expensive, does nothing for acne scars
I used this product on my acne scars for at least 3 months (I used the entire tube), and it did nothing to help fade them. For the price I paid, I expected to at least see a tiny bit of improvement from this gel. At the very least, it didn't cause me to break out.

Worst product ever!
Mederma is the worst product I've ever used. It burnt my face and now it looks like someone poured acid on it. I hate it. Do not use it if you don't want to look hideous.

Pros:

Reduced redness AT FIRST
Smells nice
Little goes a long way
Can wear under makeup

Cons:

Cost
Itchy skin
(used for acne scars) Caused a bad bumpy rash all over my face after about 3 weeks. The redness that disappeared after 3 weeks returned 10 fold. My face hurts and feels burnt and looks worse than it did before. I'm so disappointed. :(

Be careful with this product. I can't recommend it, sadly.

Pros:

no pros

Cons:

It broke me out terribly. I just used it for 3 days and it broke me out. My left cheek got many pimples because of it. I can't believe it, now I don't want to go out any more.

Never try any mederma product again

Pros:

Might be worth trying on certain types of scar.
Not oily.

Cons:

Might be a mere placebo.

I had some acne nasty scars on my cheeks. A few weeks of this products didn't seem to really do anything. I recommend trying other products listed on this sites such as MaMa lotion.

Pros:

None

Cons:

It makes the area more red and sore. The area starts hurting after prolonged use.( FYI - my skin is not sensitive, still). Still the darkness did not subside.

It makes false promises. I had to discontinue its use after the area where i applied started hurting badly after its application.
