expensive and it made my skin worse

I have very mild acne and I wanted to try proactive to clear up and prevent break outs too ellimant scaring and dark spots. For the first week i did not notice any change in my skin, but as i continued to use the product i started to get large painful pus filled blemishes across my chin and along my hairline that i later had to go to the dermatologists to get rid of. I never had break outs like that until I tried Proactive. In the end i threw out the cleanser and only kept the toner and lotion.

Overpriced , over rated junk promoted by Celebs who don't even use it.

Don't buy this overpriced overrated junk. Go to your local drugstore and buy Clearasil Ultra vanishing cream with 10% benzoil peroxide. It WORKS. Benzoil peroxide is the ONLY thing that has worked and continues to work for many many years now for mild to moderate acne treatment. A few days to a week with Clearasil Ultra and you will see results..

Hi im 20 years old.i have severe acne which i have NEVER had befor i started using proactive.all threw out high school i had maybe 2-3 zits a year! once i went off my birth control i had a little break out. I went one proactive BAAAAAAAAD idea.I had a REALLY bad allergic reaction.I got bumps ALL over my face and i just broke out over and over again,i woke up one morning with my cheek HUGE i had to call in sick for work..It was one of the worst experiences of my life.Im so upset about my acne i dont even want to leave the house.Now i am tring minocycline i hate taking medication like that but maybe ill get "ME" back.

it make my skin somewhat clear and smooth for a few weeks

Cons:

after a couple weeks my skin became worse then when it started.

at first works good

Cons:

makes your skin wrinkle and leather like, dry and irritated, and after two weeks i broke out even worse than when i didnt use it.

this is the worst thing i've ever done for my face. DO NOT BUY IT. ITS A WASTE OF MONEY AND ITS A GIMMICK

Where do I begin? Everything about this product is a con. It's EXPENSIVE, DOES NOT WORK, MAKES ACNE WORSE, and the PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE ARE TOTAL IDIOTS! TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!

I used Proactiv b/c I was at my last resort. After 6 months of use, my face was exploding w/ pimples, red, & blotchy! WAY worse then before I started. I tried calling the company & the people would always tell me something different- "You're not using enough." "You're using too much." etc. They always recommended the same thing though- keep buying the product. YEAH RIGHT! Proactiv is a TOTAL SCAM!!!! AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

My skin had few to no blisters at 26 now I'm wrinkly and rashy and my eyes swelled up until they almost closed. Sucks!!

it made my skin dry and really itchy!! it doesn't work. i found washing my face with warm water every day and night worked better.

I am freaking out because of this system

IT GAVE ME SKIN IRRITATION AND RED SPOTS. I started using proactive to ensure no breakouts at my wedding. My wedding is in less than 2 months. Instead of clear skin it made my regular skin have red bumps and sting. The cleanser also bleached my pillow cases. This crap should be taken off the market. I just pray now my face is back to normal for the wedding. ... Freaking out in Florida

Made my skin MUCH worse, very disappointed with this product!!! Waste of money.

I'm 35 yrs old, and was suffering from occasional breakouts (I had acne much worse as a teenager, though). I used proactiv for about 2 or 3 days, and my skin is ruined now! When I look in the mirror, I want to cry!!! I never had acne like this, even as a teenager. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! I'm glad I only bought a trial size before blowing even more money on full size. By the way, I gave this product a second chance a few days after I stopped using it, and it was still useless.
