Pros:

Step 3, the combination therapy feels nice and refreshing.

Cons:

. Didn't work at all.
. More breakouts(major) started to show up.

Proactive may have worked for some people, but not for me. I used it for approximately a month and the only that it did, was make my acne even worse than it was before. The uselessness of the product stressed me out, resulting in even more breakouts. It seems like a never ending cycle. Personally, I think acne is a huge waste of money.

Pros:

cleared out my skin at the beginning but it had a dry white-ish look to it

Cons:

mad my skin look dry, when i would apply makeup it would show a lot didn't end up working at all

Cleared out my scars after a while of using it i started getting pimples again and it did not dry my pimples after using it for a month my skin started breaking out like crazy little pimples everywhere even in my nose(which i never breakout in my nose) my skin went MAD! Not good!

Pros:

Left my skin smooth.

Cons:

Increased redness.
Increased acne to non-prone areas.
Severe itchiness.

I have moderate acne and I tried everything. So, after seeing the infomercial, I decided to be dumb enough to purchase this product. Singlehandedly the biggest mistake of my life! Not only did it not work for the 60 day trial, it BUTCHERED my forehead. Nasty, nasty, nasty! DO NOT BUY! Returned the product on day 60 and finally my acne is disappearing! Well, who would have thought?

Pros:

Slightly improved skin

Dries out skin
Itches
Burns eyes

Proactiv didn't work for me years ago when I tried it but I thought I'd give it a shot when they said they'd improved it. They didn't change the formula at all, they just got more specific with how much you're supposed to use. Even when I used it just once a day, or even every other day, I would have to wash my face and pray to fall asleep before the itching started. It really made me want to claw my face off. The slight results are not worth the itching, dryness and burning that comes with it. For those still looking, I've been using the new clean and clear package you can buy at walmart for about a week with great results and NO itching and burning! Not saying it'll work for everyone but it's working for me.

Caused worse achne than I ever had in my entire life. Caused like 5 months plus of pain and embarrassment.

I would never buy any product from these guys again. I used the original version back in the day but this Sh!t just caused massive zits within like two days of use. Like so big you have to pop them and then you get more after doing that. Then once you get rid of those another set comes in. It was a never ending cycle. I did everything right and even waiting 6 weeks to quit the product. Pure garbage, it also left these damn red marks that don't go away and I never get achne scars. Oh and 19.99 my ass.

kay this sucked :( it worked good ffor a week and then it came back when i tryed to get my money back they wont lett me i would try iagain. recommended STRONGLY NP

Pros:

dried skin out

Cons:

did not improve my skin

I have a mild oily t-zone and that is where I was breaking out. ProActive did not help my skin if anything it made it break out worse. I tried the product for about 50 days and then I took it back. The customer service was actually helpful and I should be receiving my check back in the mail soon.

Cons:

*didn't work for my uncurable acne
*made it kind of worse
*expensive

It's expensive, and it may work on some people, but not on me. It made my acne a little worse :(
