Pros:

It works really well. My face has seen a very good improvement. When i get a pimple and i use proactiv corrrectly, it either goes away within 2 days or it dries up and doesn't look so oily and noticible

Cons:

your face can get a little dry,but u don't need to buy the expensive proactiv moisterizer, i just buy the $4 clean and clear one evry 2 to 3 days and it works just the same as the proactiv moisterizer.

I have had medium to severe acne from 5th grade. I have tried many things, clean and clear, oxy pads, clearasel, etc, and none of them worked in the long run. They worked for the 1st 4 days and then stopped. Now i'm not saying that those products don't work at all but they didn't work for me. I have went to dermatologists and the stuff they gave me (pills, etc) would work for a month but then i built up an immunity to them. I now have been using proactiv for about a year and a half. i am a consistent user. Don't listen to some of the people above sayin it doesn't work when they only been using it for a month and most of them not correctly. Proactiv WON'T WORK IF YOU ONLY USE IT ONCE A DAY OR IF U SKIP A DAY. TT WILL KEEP YOUR ACNE FROM GETTING BAD IF U USE IT ONCE A DAY. BUT IT WILL ONLY KEEP UR FACE CLEAR IF U DO IT TWICDE A DAY. Now i still get pimples once in a while from stress, etc but my face is one of the clearest out of the people i know. Proactiv has greatly improved my skin.

Pros:

clears skin, great smell, works fast, overall great product

Cons:

expensive

I used this product last night, and this morning. thats it. i am already noticing a difference! all of my smaller bumps are gone, along with redness. the larger pimples are shrinking but not completely gone. it smells super clean and i love the smell. It leaves my face feeling super smooth and totally re-knewed. it made my face feel lighter, and healthy. I am 13 and have only used this product to times!!!

Pros:

cleared my skin up extremely well. no more big patches of pimples, comedones etc. skin feels much smoother and less oily

Cons:

slight burning sensation when applying toner/repairing lotion. when wiping my face with the toner, the cotton pad somehow always comes up brown/grey.

perhaps this product works better in equatorial areas where its much more humid and oily skin is more the norm than dry skin. if skin is initially oily and it starts drying out, u don't really have a problem with it, because the level of oils was high in the first place. the only problem is with the toner. my mum feels its peeling off my skin when i wipe it with the cotton pad, explaining the brown/grey that comes up after use. still get pimples though, but it seems it's better overall.

Pros:

I used to breakout just before my period without fail every month. Since using Proactive I haven't had any breakouts.

Cons:

I have sensitive skin and myy skin peels a bit around the eye area but is not noticeable once I put on moisturiser and I would rather have that problem than pimples which you can't miss!

I only use it once a day, not twice a day as recommended and I still get excellent results. I don't always use the toner but I do use the repair kit and my own moisturiser every morning (Dove). I don't think it matters what toner or moisturiser you use as long as it contains no oil. The magic stuff is in the repair kit. I have oily skin so I was very partial to pimples, not big acne breakouts, but noticeable odd pimples here and there - but don't have to worry about it anymore. I find the repair kit lasts me 4 months using it once a day but my acne wasn't very bad. I Definitely recommend it.

Pros:

Very easy routine, leaves the skin feeling clean and smooth

Cons:

When I first started using it, it dried out my skin significantly; but after a couple weeks my face starting clearing up dramatically and the dryness dissipated. Cost is a little high for the quantity, but it lasts longer than you'd think!

This product was the ONLY acne treatment that worked for me (I tried everything on the market from OTC cleansers to Rx creams and oral meds). My face has been completely clear for over 2 1/2 years and I get compliments all the time on how good my complexion looks (I never wear make-up).

Pros:

Cleared my skin within a week of trying it; it really controls my oily skin... and I have super oily skin. I just don't get oily in the T-Zone, but on my cheeks too. My pores are much smaller now because I don't produce as much oil as I used to.

Cons:

The cleanser doesn't lather well when mixed with water; sometimes it feels like it's still on my face after I've rinsed it off. After letting it sink into my skin for 3-4 minutes, I use a gel cleanser on top of it that washes away clean.

I've tried a lot of stuff; I've been breaking out since I was 13... and I am now 36, and still breaking out! Proactiv has really worked well for me. I used to use Retin-A, but it began to burn my skin and cause rough patches. Proactiv was my last resort. I'm glad I tried it. My skin is much clearer; it produces a lot less oil; and the price isn't so bad. I also don't need a prescription for it, like Retin-A. When I use the cleanser, I brush my teeth or something to give it a couple of minutes to soak into my skin, then I rinse it off... or use a gel cleanser that lathers really well to give my skin a good cleanse. I've been using it about 2 1/2 months.

Pros:

I have been using Proactiv for about 2 months now and I love it.... When I first started using it, it seemed to make the problems worse but with continued use I have clearer skin... I LOVE PROACTIV!!!!

Cons:

I have mild acne so I don't know how it performs on severe acne. I have never been able to stick to a regiment but I love the 3 step system and I use the mask... Yes the mask doesn't smell the best but suck it up in the name of clear skin.

I THINK THIS PRODUCT IS WONDERFUL... TRY IT!!! AND FOR THE PPL WHO THINK IT IS $$$$ TRY GETTING IT OFF EBAY!!!

Pros:

Well, after just a little while I could see some differences, and later on I could actually notice acne disappearing. I think that the key to using proactiv is to use it every day, and to keep on using it.

Cons:

It does dry out my skin a little bit, but after a while I think I've built up a resistance to it. When I bought it there was a skin moisturizer included, and that has completely stopped my skin drying out.

I've heard a lot of different stories about proactiv, some saying that it worked, some saying that it didn't. For me, so far, it has worked. Most of it has probably been using it twice a day, every day. Don't be afraid that just because it's on an infomercial that it won't work. Another key factor would definatley have to be that I got a kit, that included the 3 bottles, a refining mask, and skin moisturizer. The refining mask helps a LOT, but it would be useless without the other cleansers. I hope that if you do buy it, that it works for you. I think it works for me, my acne isn't completley gone yet, but I know that I'm on the road there.

Pros:

I LOVE PROACTIV I STOPPED USING IT BECAUSE I COULDNT AFFORD IT I USED PRODUCTS THAT WERE SUPOSE 2 BE LIKE IT BUT DIDNT WORK. I WENT TO THE MALL AND SAW A PROACTIVE STAND. NOW I AM GOING THERE ALL THE TIME JUST TO GET IT(30 DAY SUPPLY FOR $20)

Cons:

THE PRICE I WANTED TO GET THE 2 MONTH SUPPLY BUT ITS TOO MUCH. bUT I AM GETTING THE 1 MONTH SUPPLY FOR $20

gET PROACTIVE IT REALLY WORKS IF PEOPLE START TO BREAK OUT AT FIRST I THINK IT SAYS IT MIGHT MAKE UR ACNE BAD AT FIRST BUT THAT I THINK IS SO THAT IT LIFTS UP ALL THOSE IMPURITIES SO U CAN GET THE CLEAR SKIN U ALWAYS WANTED. tRUST ME! WHEN I USED IT, THE NEXT DAY MY FACE WAS ALREADY CLEARING UP A LOT GET IT ITS WORTH UR MONEY. DONT GO TO THE STORE AND BUY SOMETHING THAT SAYS WORKS FASTER THAN PROACTIV. I TRIED THOSE AND THEY JUST TOOK MY MONEY! I RECOMMEND IT 100%

Pros:

Great skin! Only took 6 wks to see great results! I was skeptical because I worked for the company and new all about the product but had never tried it

Cons:

The initial breakout period before it clears up.

Did you know that if you are a club member, you can change how often you are recieving these prdcts, take your card off and recieve a bill, customize your kits, and place holds on your account for a certain amount of time? Acne takes 3-4 weeks to see results so that is why it takes 6-8 wks to see the full results for most people! Try it that long before you say how awful it is! Also, you can't become"immune" ask your doc what causes acne and they will tell you there are lots of different reasons.
