Pros:

Toner removes makeup

Cons:

Dries out skin
Aggravates pimples
Doesn't clear up moderate-severe acne

I used Proactiv for more than a year, and my skin began to get increasingly dry. It felt like permanent flakes around my mouth, and I couldn't find a moisturizer, mask, or treatment that would fix it. Finally, I stopped using Proactiv because it DIDN'T clear up my acne WHATSOEVER. It simply aggravated existing pimples and smelled bad. As soon as I stopped, my skin was perfectly moisturized. Figures. The only good thing was the toner, which removes make-up. I wouldn't waste the forty dollars per month that this costs, the only people it works on is extremely mild cases. Just because celebrities endorse it DOESN'T mean it's good, clearly. None of them have acne anyways. Don't waste your time, guys.

Pros:

doesn't smell, works quickly, easy to use, makes skin soft

Cons:

expensive

i had large pores, whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples on my chin, nose, cheeks and forehead. i'd probably have about five or six regularly, with a few more around my period. my skin was dry and oily at the same time. basically i had no hope for this product but decided i had nothing to lose. i've been using it for a few weeks and i have not had a new pimple since. my acne usually leaves scars, and the pimples that have cleared up have left none. my skin is soft, even, and clear. my only complaint is that the refining mask does not seem to work, and my skin gets irritated if i'm out in the sun for too long.

Pros:

Significantly reduces the amount of pimples
makes skin feel soft
stick to the system, no need shopping for other stuff
mask is great and spot treats overnight

Cons:

not cheap
discolors pillowcase

I was a walking advertisement for Proactive many years ago. I was fed up with my adult pimples and finally tried Proactive. Then i would tell everyone about how great it works. I did still get 1 or 2 pimple onces in a while, but a lot better than the 5 or 6 on my face at any one time ALL THE TIME. Then after giving birth to my second child, my skin changed suddenly. It was a lot drier. So when I used Proactive, it instantly make my skin itchy and gave me rash on my face. So I stopped using it. Now after my third child, my skin is back to oily again and prone to breakouts. So I've started using proactive again. But this time, I'm only using it once a day because I don't feel my skin is as oily as it used to be before I had kids. Using it once a day didn't give me a rash and curb the pimples significantly. Proactive works for me as long as my face is oily and have a few pimple at all times. So i think it probably tend to work better on oily skin.

Pros:

Nothing that I noticed.

Cons:

Doesn't work, makes skin worse.

I should've known when I bought the starter kit that it wouldn't work when the sales lady said your skin will flare up really badly before it gets better. I've used prescription acne creams and other various formulas that have worked with varying degrees of success and never has my skin acted up so badly as when I started using the Proactiv system Maybe I should have stuck it out and waited to see if it did improve, but my skin looked terrible for the 2 weeks I used it. Large, painful zits that weren't like the others I've had. My acne is light to moderate, but I looked terrible after Proactiv. Had much better, faster results with the Kiehl's Blue moisturizer.

Pros:

This product is very goood.
It actually worked for me. I've used lots of products before, from $50-$200, they all kinda worked but none of them worked like Proactive did.
It made my skin smoother& shiny!
I used to wear lots of make up, to hide my bad acne but now I barely wear any.

Cons:

Proactive doesn't work for everybody.
It depends on what kinda skin you have and if you're allergic to any of the products. It may make your skin very try& give you more acne so watch out before you use it ! Make sure you ask your doctor.

You should definitely try Proactive ! I'm 16 years old and the worse thing is to have bad acne. I first started having acne when I turned 14, I tried lots of products, they were all very expensive but when I heard of Proactive I couldn't really believed it worked 'cause it had too many celebrities, and I usually don't buy what they say it "works" so I never really thought about using it. But one day I went to my friends house& I had bad acne and the next day we had a party to go, I freaked out because I knew if I used make-up, it would make it worst. So my friend told me to try Proactive for the night than again in the morning. So I did. When I woke up in the morning my skin looked so much better, it didn't look like I wanted to but the redness& the bad acne was gone. I used again in the morning& it worked better after a while ! So, you should definitely try itttt :D

Pros:

It smelled good,,

Cons:

The toner burned my skin like crazy! It didn't clear up my skin at all. If anything it made it worse.

It didn't work like I thought it would, like all the commercials said it would. I wasn't satisfied with it at all. I am sending it back for a refund because it was a waste of my money.

Pros:

It had a great fragrance, the mask really helps with pimples, i usually put a little bit on my pimple and the next morning the pimple had calmed down a bit.

Cons:

It made my skin REALLY! dry and itchy, i had dry flakes all over my face and even looked like an old lady, i stopped using it and i only attempt to use it when i have bad pimples but still i can' get my face back to normal as it is still dry.

I wouldn't recommend it for people with sensitive skin and really only buy it if you have BAD BAD BAD! acne.
