Pros:

The clay mask is a great spot treatment and the repairing lotion works okay. Gets rid of black heads.

Cons:

Dry skin
Spread my acne
Caused acne scarring
Caused redness and irritation

I used this for about six months hoping it was actually working but I was being irrational. I kept thinking it's suppose to get worse before it gets better. NOT. My skin got so much worse, my acne spread from just my chin and sideburn areas to both cheeks and eventually my forehead. I never had acne before working in fast food. I thought this would help but even after I quit working in fast food my skin got worse. This product did not work for me if anything it made my problem excruciatingly worse and now I have the scars to bear from it. Eventually I switched to aveeno foaming cleanser and I cleared my skin. The only reason it gets a little bean guy is for the amazing clay mask which works well even though it smells funny. I do not have sensitive skin so I do not know why this product destroyed my face but maybe you will have better luck all though I strongy advise against this product unless it's the last choice you have left.

Pros:

Step 3, the combination therapy feels nice and refreshing.

Cons:

. Didn't work at all.
. More breakouts(major) started to show up.

Proactive may have worked for some people, but not for me. I used it for approximately a month and the only that it did, was make my acne even worse than it was before. The uselessness of the product stressed me out, resulting in even more breakouts. It seems like a never ending cycle. Personally, I think acne is a huge waste of money.

Pros:

ABSOLUTELY NONE

Cons:

WHERE DO I BEGIN?

I CAN'T BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW HORRIBLE THIS PRODUCT IS! First off, my acne never got better at all while I used this. I would say it got worse if anything. My skin BURNED and STUNG like crazy when I used it. After about a week, my skin dried up SOOOO bad. It was literally like I had on one of the clay masques that you put on your face. (Believe me, I am NOT exaggerating) When I even smiled or laughed, I felt my skin "crack". I couldn't even put make up on because it looked so disgusting when it sank into the dry cracks in my face. It was the worst experience of my life, and it took about a week and a half after I stopped using it for my skin to go back to it's normal texture. I would never reccommend this product to anyone. I can't believe that they are actually allowed to sell this.

Sucks..
I used this when a lovely relative noticed I had acne and decided that it would make a great christmas gift... They are obviously a lovely person. So, I tried it anyway, it is terrible. It just dried out my skin, made my face more inflamed, and basically bleached everything. I mean, I didn't pay this much to bleach my face.

Bad, especially for sensitive skin
My acne got worse while using this. Also, it sucks for sensitive skin. Pretty much ended up with red, raw skin, which can only be described as looking like I had a chemical peel... Yep, would not recommend!

Do not buy this product
I had cancelled all my shipments from proactiv because i was leaving for basic training and from basic directly to my year long AIT. I decided i wouldnt need any more of their product while i was there. I had also removed my credit card information because i heard all the stories about proactiv being "shady". I figured without a credit card on my acount and with the costumer service agent over the line telling me my shipments have been cancelled that i should be in the clear. Today almost two years later im again trying to cancel my proactiv shipments but this time im paying for two years of shipments that should have never been sent to my home address. Hopefully this time im done with this greedy company... Im so pissed. Besides their terrible way of doing business the product worked well for me but i would not recommend it to anyone just for the fact that i dont want these people getting any more money or scamming anymore customers.

Pros:

the box was organized well.
it would be a pro not to waste your time with this company, you will get pimples from the stress they put on you.

Cons:

this has been the wost experience since i bought from proactive. 1) they do no tell you that you are charged 40-30$ a month and sent new boxes. 2) the return directions are vague which adds another 6 weeks on to no refunds and more charges. 3) customer service sucks! you call them and they act like your the idiot, they make you want to cry more.

bottom line is, DONT ORDER PROACTIVE! all they do is rob you and stress you out. cut your losses and go to a dermatologist.

Pros:

none!!!

Cons:

dries the skin, burns, way too harsh, pimlpes appeared around my chin and jaw line and the spots just will not go away....

this product does not work. PLEASE READ: It has been since March since my face was damaged by proactive (i had almost no acne before use) for my great surprise, the spots just aren't going away, even though i stopped using the product five months ago. I think my face is permanently damaged by proactive. money stealers...I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE KEEP MAKING THEM RICH.

Pros:

none.

Cons:

the cleanser was really rough on my skin and within 2 days my skin was flakier than ever.
the products are also really expensive and was a waste of money and time.

The cleanser dried out my skin too much. The toner wasnt too bad but stung a bit. Overall these products are a waste of money. your skin dries out really fast and creates pimples if you dont consistently use this product. I recommend Neutrogena products as they may be a little more helpful.

Pros:

The mask felt natural

Cons:

Dried my skin out
Made my acne worse
Made my skin really sensitive to other products after stop using Proactiv

I'm 15 years old and hate my acne. I have tons of little red bumps all over my T-Zone. Having acne really lowers my self esteem and my self confidence. A few of my friends told me that Proactiv worked for them and to try it out. My mom and I went to our local mall and got Proactiv at their kiosk. I used it for about a month and nothing happened. My acne wasn't going anywhere and my skin was getting really dry. We decided to stop using it and that it sucked. Before using Proactiv I used a Neutrogena facial cleanser and I spot treated with benzoil poroxide which worked great overnight and I loved it. After using Proactiv and went back to those product(new bottles). The facial cleanser didnt bother my skin but the spot treatment would turn the spot I put it on bright red, swollen, and itchy. I looked like a giant misquito bite. It sucked. It sucked having to go to school looking like that I just recently talked to my doctor about it and she said it was because of the exfoiliator in the Proactiv and she told me that the same thing happened to her. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PROACTIV TO ANYBODY
