Proactiv Solution : Acne Treatment System

Don't order at all! This stuff doesnt work. Worst part is they won't stop charging me after already calling and canceling twice. They keep shipping more products and automatically charging my credit card. I hate calling because the customer service people are from indian and very hard to understand and they do not understand the word cancel. I don't even have acne...idk why I even ordered this in the first place.

I've been using Proactiv for maybe over a year now. The upsides to Proactiv are that it really does clean your face. Whenever I'm done using the 3-step system, my face feels legitimately clean. It fights well against breakouts. When I have a bad breakout, I only use it once, it instantly looks better. Another thing is that it minimizes my pores. I went camping and when I came back my pores on my cheeks were huge. Then I used some Proactiv and it minimized my pores. Lastly, Proactiv's Highlight lotion works very well. My acne scars are going away day by day. The downsides of Proactiv are that it doesn't work for everyone. From all the reviews I've been reading, it doesn't seem to help many people at all. Another downside is that results are slow, which sucks because then you blow $40 a month on something that won't end up working for you. Also, it can dry out your skin a lot. I use it twice a day everyday and after a week or so my face will get all tight and dry. I have to stop using it for 4-5 days because my skin gets so dry. I hate that the only way to get rid of acne using Proactiv is by completely drying out your pimples. But it does work occasionally. All in all, unless Proactiv completely gets rid of my acne, I'm not gonna buy anymore. It's not worth it and I see so many people saying how much Proactiv has damaged their skin, I'm scared that it will damage mine. Well, I hope that helps!

Proavtice dried my face!!! It turned my face red, and I should have never wasted my money on this piece of trash!! I hope the Proactive company gets sued!! I would rather use Cetaphil cream, it actually works!!

Look, my clean was the clearest when I was in the hospital for a week and a half due to a spinal tap gone wrong. I didn't wash my face or wear any make-up; I laid there like a vegetable. But when I got out and washed my wash with a mild cleanser and wore my make-up again, BOOM acne. So, my Mom got me Proactiv from a friend (whom they send crazy amounts to via the automatic reorder system) and gave it to me. I started off doing it morning and night, it dried the HELL out of my face and brought EVERYTHING to the surface, huge under the skin pimples!!! I was dying, and my make-up was failing at covering it up due to all the flakey, dried out skin. I gave up and went back to a mild cleasner for a few days and dramatically my oily skin came right back with acne. So WTF, I gave it another shot, and perfected my regimen. I addressed the under the skin break outs with a their refining mask as a spot treatment and my dry skin with their Oil-Free moisturizer in the morning and Cetaphil PM moisturizer at night and skipped the toner in the morning. Below is my system. After I endured the hellish ugly breakout, I'm ALMOST all clear except for a spot on my chin and a reddish scar on my jawbone, which I'm going to try Mederma for, I'll let you know how it goes. Though the product is designed to work in conjunction with Proactiv's "unique blend" of additives ("enhancements", and I use the term loosely), the active ingredient nonetheless remains Benzoyl Peroxide. These enhancements, the modality of which are not FDA approved (rubbing tea leaves on my face is supposed to help how?), are designed to increase cell turnover and absorption rates, and promote "spalling" and penetration. While effective for some, they are ineffective -- if not counterproductive -- for most. Get yourself a nice soap, a tube of Benzoyl Peroxide, some hydrocortisone; and a light, water-based, non-comedogenic lotion. You'll see better results in better time at half the cost.

i would not ever recommend proactive... proactive sucks for for the price and did exactly the opposite of its purpose i am very disapointed in the reults

Proactive Acne Treatment ' Good To Worse !!!! 5 YEARS Experience! MUST READ Hi there, i am 23/Male...this review is exactly according to the experience I have had with proactive Acne treatment kit... I Have started proactive when I was around 18 years , a teenager. I have Mild acne and few Bumps occasionally, but otherwise a Smooth skin. I ordered proactive once I saw a commercial on television. I saw it when it was NOT that popular in India and I trusted it paying Rs 2495 for a supply of 2 months. I used it and discovered that this product did some miracles to my skin transforming it to a glowing one in just 1 month. I then continued this product till I was 21 years. Then I was a bit worried about the amount of price they started charging for the Proactive kit which was now of 3495 Rs a supply a 2 months. I trusted the experience i had and continued it with the price hiked. Suddenly I realised, the product has STOPPED working for me when it comes to preventing New ACNE from coming. Earlier i thought it may be something related to the weather, but since then it had all gone wrong for me. I kept on ordering the product in a hope that it would give me those earlier results, but that is when I felt I am just WASTING my money over the product. Till I turned 23, it had been 5 years since I have started proactive, and the last 2 years experience has been Bizarre. Currently I am at almost the end of the supply and I am NOT even thinking of ordering it again wasting my Money more then what it deserves. Right now my Skin have OPEN PORES , Roughness , Acne marks , Uneven skin tone , and of course ACNE. It doesn't seem I have ever had a good skin and Ever Used a Proactive, whereas i have used it for around 5 years and still using it waiting for the Supply to END. Exactly 4 days ago I placed an order on the proactive website. I paid extra for overnight shipping and I paid with pay pal. I was told I will be receiving a confirmation email after I paid for the order, but I never did. When I try to log onto the website it says that email address is not registered on the website. I was provided an order number when I placed the order, but I did not save it. I contacted proactive customer service to cancel my order, but I was told that they can not cancel my order even though it hasn't been shipped. That is not true! I work for an online company and you can very well easly cancel an order anytime you want. you can even have the package returned back to you if it is shipped out. Before they even searched for my order they said a cancelation is not possible. And when I gave my information they said they can not even find my order. I was also told by a customer service representative to place a new order and pay again this time with credit card. So they wanted me to pay TWICE for something I was not receiving! And they weren't even refunding the pay pal payment! The reason I wanted to cancel my order was because I read so many horrible reviews about the products and because of how long the process was taking. I paid extra for overnight shipping, it has been 4 days. They can not find my order but they took my payment. Be very cautious before buying from them!

The biggest mistake I ever made was buying this silly product.Since I started using it my acne has gotten worse , in addition I started getting phenominally huge ingrowths under my skin. As promised , I never got any refund from the company. I think this company is a rip off and one big scam. Thanks for f**king up my life Pro-active. I wouldnt recomend this sh*t to anybody

I have been using this for over a month because I got a few breakouts and hoped it would clear it all up, if anything it has just made the acne on my chin WAY WORSE I dont even want to see anyone. The commericials say "fast results" but I have seen no positive results, its definetly a scam and I DONT RECCOMEND AT ALL
