Pros:

It works
No extra chemicals, gunk on your face
IT HAS WORKED FOR ME

Cons:

I spend too much money at the Clinique counter!
A little inconvenient to buy

Bottom Line: I'm 25 years old, I've had stress related acne (hard red bumps all over my cheeks) breakouts/scars for over 8 years now. I have literally tried everything. Everything at the drugstore, expensive, cheap, 3-step, 5-step, all natural, gentle scrubbing, reading reading reading reviews on different products, many products off of acne.org, Proactiv, twice a month microdermabrasion facials, blu-light, expensive laser treatments. Literally for me to have clear skin is priceless. Bottom line: this is the ONLY product I have used that makes me happy. My skin isn't perfect, I still gets bumps, but drastically less than I did before. If I run out and use other product that I have lying around I tend to break out again. But for the most part my skin is mostly clear and I'm much more confident. Regimin: I use the regular cleanser to wash makeup off my face at the end of the day, then the foaming cleanser, then the astringent, and spot treat with the salicylic spot treatment. I haven't used the moisturizer in this kit, but the yellow daily moisturizer is really light and refreshing. I also use Clinique foundation because it doesn't have a lot of additives and I think my CoverGirl makeup was contributing to my breakouts. The only con: it's a little inconvenient to go to the mall to buy more, plus the sales ladies are so good and they always have specials that I spend more than I plan on every time! But you can order online and you can have them send you new product every 30 days etc. whatever you choose. Again bottom line from a girl that has tried EVERYTHING you have nothing to lose to try it. I was always the 2% statistic that products didn't work for and I'm happy with these products. Please give Clinique a chance!

Pros:

It defenitely works! I just got it yesterday and i used it in the morning and before i went to bed! My skin totally looks a lot better! My mom told me that i look beautiful! I havent seen my face this clear in a long long long long time! Im sooooooooooo excited to use it tonight i cant wait to go to school and show people how good i really look!

Cons:

The price is really the only thing thats the problem. It was about $71 but thats because i bought some extra stuff too.

Overall this product works really well, i tried clearasil and clean & clear but that didnt work very well. I had flaky, dry, irritated skin all the time, and now my skin is soft and smooth on only the 2nd day! I love this product and i would definitely recommend clinique for makeup products, and skin care products. Its always been a big help to me and i'm sure it would be for you too. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! take my advice and at least consider buying this! It works really well and i'd really like everyone else that struggles with stress related acne and other, similar types to be astonished by this product and releaved as much as i was.

REDUCED MY ACNE! :)

Cons:

Redness of cheeks & quite pricey

Wow, i bought this product YESTERDAY! i used it last night, this morning, & tonight and i must say this stuff is amazing. My cheeks have always been very sensitive to acne washes, so the redness this product causes is very typical to my skin. I avoided putting the 3rd step on my cheeks tonight & focused putting it on my chin (which is breaking out HORRIBLY!), therefore the redness has reduced dramatically. I recommed the 3rd step only ONCE a day to avoid irritation. I have struggled w/acne since I was 13 years old & I am now 18. I have tried nearly everything, proactive, acne free, neutrogena, & other washes I received from the dermatologist. The only product that has worked for me was proactive, but it stopped working after a year. I love clinque make-up so I gave this product a shot. My acne reduced after 1 day!!! it's so great. The bumps are nearly flat now! I'm also using Clinique's acne solutions liquid makeup & acne solutions cleaning concealer. Not only is it covering up embarrasing acne, but HEALING it as well. It gives your face a very natural look, without the caking & piling of makeup look. Despite the cost, these products have given me great results so far & i hope to see even more progress in my fight against acne :) The cost is totally worth it :)

Pros:

Leaves skin feeling soft, and refreshed. Reduces redness. Odorless. After first use pimples begin to disappear.

Cons:

Burns nose a bit, the price is high.

I have had moderately severe acne for awhile now, and last Sunday I purchased this system. I began to use it Monday morning and noticed that my skin was softer right after I did the three step process. I have now been using it for three days and most of my redness is gone, and my pimples are clearing up. I'll admit it does burn my nose a little and it's a bit pricy, but I already love it! Many people have noticed a difference and keep asking me what my secret is! This system does work.

Pros:

Clinique 3 step acne system works wonderes!! I've used everything on my skin, i've tried every store product, i've even recently used Proactiv. Proactiv made everything WORSE!! my skin had never looked worse. I was horribly broken out all over my chin and jawline. I felt like thats all people could see, and i know my friends would never judge me, but i felt so low in my self confidence. I work in the beauty industry, doing hair, so i need to project an image of self confidence and clear skin is important. I've used Clinique before, but it was before they had the acne system, and even just the regular Clinique 3 step worked great. But the acne system works even better than anything i've ever used!! I've been using it for 5 days and already i've seen a major improvement in my skin. Proactiv could never work this fast, i dont care what they say. Clinique has already cleared up a good portion of my chin and jawline, decreased the redness, and even though it's slightly drying, it's made my skin look much better. Proactiv dried my skinh out so bad it was hurting. THANK YOU CLINIQUE for helping me improve my image! I feel so much better now that my skin is clearing. I will never switch to anything else! Clinique is the best!

Pros:

No prescription, no fragrance or color, exfoliates chemically,removes deep oil,easy to use,

Cons:

little pricey

i had tried accutane twice, minocycline,tetracycline,benzoyl peroxide,retin-A,benzaclin,azelex, amogn many many other things, and this workS!! the key is to stick to it at least a few months. it exfoliates, which is the key. it also removes deep oil and dirt.i highly highly highly recommend it, coming from someone who has dealt with acne on and off for 11 years. Try it! You'll never go back!!!

Pros:

Works Quickly, Not too harsh.

Cons:

Drying the first few days, pricey but well worth it.

I've been using this 3-step system for just about a week now and I've seen a dramatic change in the way my face looks. I've gotten many compliments already! I look forward to continue using this product for even better results! :)

I AM SO HAPPY
My acne was out of control , I had big huge lumps all over my face and neck, I would cry when I would take off my makeup. I tried every acne soap , treatment , oral medication, prescription, dermatologists , and nothing seemed to work . A coworker told me about this product , I really didn't think it would work , i had lost hope. In 2 days I saw such a big difference ! I am now almost done with the treatment and I have no acne , I get one or two pimples that go away in a day or two . Clinique gave me back my confidence.

Pros:

Noticed a difference in 2 weeks. I am 30 with non-traditional adult acne and nothing else has worked. I started by using it as directed then how I thought it worked best for me. I use it once a day until "certain times of the month" when my skin is oilier and then I use it twice a day. So far I have been using it for 2 months and my skin keeps getting better. And I feel it is very affordable considering what it is doing for me.

Cons:

Step 3, the moisturizer, is anything but! So this is why I went to once per day. I have sensitive skin so it over dried my combination skin a bit.Sometimes I switch out step 3 with Clinque moisture surge. Which is a little pricey but the best moisturizer ever and truly oil-free! You have to use this system everyday, religiously or you will waste your time.

I recommend this! You just have to be patient with it and give it time to work and figure out your own schedule with it. I have had this acne problem for nearly 3 years and 3 trips to the dermatologist did nothing. The acne I have looks like mosquito bites that are itchy and inflamed. There was never a head to squeeze or anything but if anything touched it, it would ooze! My dermatologist tested it and said it was an adult acne. I tried 2 over the counter topical solutions and took antibiotics! This 3 step system worked for me! Good luck~!

Pros:

Works great! My skin is smoother and more even, pores are less visible, all in all this works really well for more severe acne.

Cons:

Dries out skin - especially on my neck. I would not recommend putting this where you DON'T have acne. I had one bad breakout after using the regimen for about two weeks, but my skin has been clear ever since!

I have tried A LOT of other products and nothing has come close to this one. I have very sensitive skin and every little spot shows up. The majority of my acne is around my neck and mouth. It is definitely hormonal and did not appear this severe until I turned 19. I would only recommend this system if you have more severe acne as I believe this would dry out anyone with moderate or mild. This is not for the occasional pimple! I use all three products in the morning and evening and no part of my face is dry (although it was dry the first few days) - just my neck is a little dry. I also like that it doesn't make my skin more sensitive (i.e. more prone to sunburn) as I am often in direct sunlight.
