Best luring Sales, Worst Skincare
I have use 3 steps ( Type 2) as my roommate recommend me to try on when I first encountered clogged pores. I have used them for 3 days then I swear I will never ever ever buy any products from CLINIQUE again.   The cleanser and toner irritate my skin so much that it appears red the whole day. Also, more clogged pores and inflamed white heads emerged which never happen to me before. The moisturizer cause allergic red spot on my face, itchy red bumps on my chin, which is the first time I have allergic reaction in my entire life. I have to turn to a derm as Clinique worsened the whole situation. Wont buy it, wont ever consider it, wont trust sales from a chain store ever again.

Pros:

Easily accessible (carried at a variety of locations)

Cons:

Overly irritating, left me with extremely dry skin and inflamed acne.

I've been trying to transition off ProActive for a few months now (though that system has actually worked very well for me). I thought I'd give this stuff a try considering all the rave reviews it seemed to be getting here and knowing that Clinique has a good reputation, but this line was just way too harsh. It definitely did not agree with my skin (sensitive, oily). While on this product my skin completely dried up and NOT in a good way. It left my face feeling tight, irritated, dry, inflamed and uncomfortable. I stuck with it thinking things may get better, but decided to cease use after my generally mild acne became increasingly worse (bordering on moderate). It also left patches of my skin darker than usual, which worried me. I only used these products for about 3 weeks. I probably should have stuck with them longer, but I could tell that they were not doing my skin any good. I'm someone who is all up for trying new things, but I sincerely wish I had not tried this line.

Hate it!
I have been using the Clinique 3 step acne system for about a month now and it has not cleared my skin at all. I have also started breaking out with large, painful pimples. I definitely will not be using this product anymore.

poor
Pretty poor quality. It made my skin very oily and it really didn't do anything for my breakouts and was super expensive.

Pros:

none

Cons:

expensive
does not work
very harsh on skin
face broke out more

I used this product after using the Clinique 3-step system because it had broke me out really bad and made me get really bad skin. The worst I have very had in my life. The lady at the Clinique counter told me to use this in order to get rid of the breakouts, so I started using it and I broke out even more and she told me it was all apart of the regimen so I continued to use it for 2 months and my skin became worse and worse. I would definitely not recommend this acne system nor Clinique in general. It is way too expensive and it is not what people and advertisement make it out to be.

Pros:

. It was free

Cons:

. Did not work at all for me :(

The lady at the counter was soo confident that she gave it to me for free as a trial. Unfortunately it did not help me at all, in fact i think it made my acne worse. However with the confidence behind it you should try it and hopefully you will be luckier than what i was.

Cystic Acne after 2 days of use
So dissatisfied with my experience with Clinique! I bought the 3 step acne control kit for $34 and 2 days after using the acne solutions product I started getting cystic acne all over my face and jaw line. I returned my purchase through UPS and cost me $13 to return it!!! What a waste of money. I would never recommend Clinique to anyone. The least they could do was make returns free.

Ouch!
If your a teen and have bad acne, this stuff is NOT for you! When I used this product, all I can say is one word ouch! The cleanser kind of burned, the toner made my eyes swollen and my nose too and my skin burn because it is made of alcohol. And the lotion is oil based, totally AWFUL for breakouts and acne. I hated this product it din't help the acne at all or feel good or refreshing to use! Would NEVER reccomend this product, to anyone!!! EVER! If you are comparing this to Murad or Rodan and Fields check out my other reviews (THIS STUFF IS MAGIC and POST OF SHAME)! Hope this review was helpful!
