Pros:

works great reduces redness

Cons:

expensive

I do not use the whole kit, just the spot treatment, usually you can get at a beauty store. I've used it for about 8 years now and besides the price I have no complaints, if u have sensitive/oily skin it works great, put down the BP products and try murad

Pros:

Great cleanser; easy-to-use

Cons:

Spot treatment does not work.

I have been under a dermatologist's care for the past 2 years. In September I had a horrible breakout. My derm tried epiduo, retin-a micro, duac, clindamycin injection, minocin, and doryx---nothing worked. I gave up and decided to use Murad products--in less than 2 weeks my skin became clearer. Hopefully by week 4 my acne will be under control and then I can work on hyperpigmentation.

Pros:

Smells nice & seems to be working decently for me, so far.

Cons:

My skin isn't completely clear, but I don't really expect that, as acne is hormonal. And it makes my face a bit itchy when I apply it!

So far it is working well for me. My overall skin tone and texture looks MUCH better. I still have zits, but they are not as bad as before. They are more on the surface now. These other reviews are making me second guess it a bit...I wonder if the other reviewers are using it properly? I use it twice a day and I also finish with the moisturizer. I never really went through the "horrible" purging process either. Overall I am really liking it. Anyone who doesn't have moderate to severe acne would most likely experience some pretty nasty purging effects, as this is a strong product. If they didn't have bad acne before, they would probably have it after using this product.

Pros:

cleared up my skin quickly without drying it out

Cons:

a little bit expensive

I actually really love this product. After trying to use Proactiv for months, and watching my face get worse, I got up the nerve to quit and switch to Murad. My skin cleared up almost immediately and is super hydrated. I am so relieved to find a product that actually works and makes my skin feel great. No more piles of foundation =)

Pros:

The smell is nice and ever since the first use my face felt extremely hydrated and soft.

Cons:

Nothing really... I havent experienced anything bad with it.

Acne needs time and patience. Some people may say that they get a massive increase of acne.. but thats just the purging process. You have to stick out with it until that process is over.. than you will see beautiful results. I have severe acne.. and have had it since i was 14. I've used, proactive, skinID, neutrogena, biore, clinique and every other possible acne treatment... and this, so far, has worked the best for me.

Pros:

My skin is healing; less breakouts; new breakouts heal faster. My skin is no longer red and flaky. My skin is smoother. Within a few days of using the product, I lost the red delineation between my face and chin from when I had used benzoyl peroxide.

Cons:

I did break out more during initial weeks - the purging was awful - but I knew my skin had trapped a lot of bacteria that needed to surface. Stick with it and you will see results, you just need to get over that few week hump of extra zits!

I'm nearly 37 years old and went off the pill 2 months ago -I had not had a significant breakouts until I went off. I'm getting married this October and needed something to clear my skin which was breaking out with deep cysts on my chin along with red, painful whiteheads on my forehead, temples and chin. How stressful! An over the counter Benzoyl peroxide product seemed to be aggravating my skin which was continually red, itchy, and flaky -I knew I needed to try something new. I have been using the MURAD brand acne kit for nearly 4 weeks and have seen dramatic results. (Note - I use the 3 main products and only have used the moisturizer like twice b/c I really don't need that.). Adult acne is not fun; I am very pleased with Murad's acne treatment products and will continue to use it. .

Pros:

I started using it about a year ago i was always worried about my acne but now i hardly ever breakout.

Cons:

I cant use the lotion my skin is very sensitive to it.

I would recomened this to anyone that worrys about there acne. I got the 6.75 oz bottle of cleanser that has lasted me almost a year now and i wash my face at least once a day but sometimes 2 or 3. Its totally worth the price if you use the right amount. I dont think i'll go back to any other cleanser.

Pros:

I like that it's available at Ulta and Sephora--no worries about monthly shipments. Didn't dry out my skin.

Cons:

PURGING! Pimples where I never in my life had had them, and even big cystic-y type ones; I can't believe I stuck it out the recommended usage time. But, after three weeks I began to see great results!

I've used this product for over a month, and while the first few weeks were pure torture, I am very pleased with the results. Is my skin 100% clear? No, but the two or three miniscule zits on my chin now and then is a very welcome change!!! I will continue to use it for as long as I need to.

Pros:

Everything worked! I finally found a product which removed my spots. The first week you could

Cons:

I didn't find it sooner + the second medication stung my face, but then sometimes I used an excessive amount.

I would buy this product if you had mild acne like me. Yeah the price is a bit... off, but if you really think about it all those times you were looking for the right medication, in total you might of spent more than $100.
