Pros:

The face wash smelled good...that's about it ha.

Cons:

The price, too drying, irritating, stung so much!

I was curious about murad myself after reading many reviews..and it seemed like only murads actual website was the only place saying it actually worked. But I still bought it and now I feel VERY ripped off. The stuff isnt cheap, and to me it works as well as something you'd buy at a drugstore. NOT VERY WELL. I was actually mixing the kit with a b.p. compound my dermatologist gave me and I had horrific results. I got severe open acne all of a sudden that I couldnt get rid of. My face was itchy , red and irritated. I stopped it right away after a month and actually tried it again this past week with NO b.p. (cuz the kit isnt cheap! i hate to through it out right?! ha) But again my face was really itchy and it actually made my lips really burn. So it will go in the trash now.. :)

Pros:

Cleanser is nice

Cons:

Exfoliating lotion has made my skin break out worse than it EVER HAS BEFORE.

I bought the 30 day trial sized kit, and was only using the exfoliating lotion at night. I started to notice that every time I woke up, I had all these whiteheads. I have never had a problem with whiteheads, ever. Thinking my skin was just purging itself, I started to use the exfoliating lotion twice daily. My skin just got worse and worse, but I wanted to stick it out to see if it would get any better. I just decided to stop using this today, and my skin is broken out so bad I don't even want to leave my house. Every square inch of my face is freakin broken out. I'll keep using the cleanser, but the exfoliating lotion is the devil. I could slather mineral oil all over my face and STILL not break out this bad.

Pros:

NOTHING

Cons:

EVERYTHING

Please DO NOT use this product unless you want to make your face look 100 times worse! I had very very moderate acne and now totally regretting trying this bullsh*t b/c my face not only burnt and had more acne it gave me red scars all over my forehead and jawline (I've never had problems in those areas before) I have been off from it for a few weeks now and the red/scar isn't going away..... IT SCREWED ME OVER BIG TIME

Pros:

It works!

Cons:

Still get the random break out every once in a while, price.

For the first month, I was pissed off that the murad product had made my skin break out even more. BUT... i continued to use it for a bit over a month, just to follow through with my $50.00 investment, and, after my skin recovered from the initial beating, I was clear for weeks and weeks. I looked into this, and it seems whenever a new product is used on the skin, your face goes through a purging of all the hidden dirt in the pores. now, my face is SO much clearer than it was. This stuff isn't perfect, like most things in this world, and i do get the occasional break out of a MINOR few pimples around once a month (which I sure is due to hormones). Sucks being a teen, but this def softens the degradation acne has on self confidence.

Pros:

nice website. customer service responded.

Cons:

purging contintued for 5 weeks. i've finally given up on the product. it's expensive too.

I was on ProActiv but my friend highly recommended Murad because it worked well for her so i right away went out and purchased it. I started to 'purge' and their customer service said it should end in a couple days to a couple weeks. however after five weeks, my acne was literally at its WORST. i hadn't had such bad acne around my mouth ever. my skin has started to clear up since i've been off it and now im taking minocyclin. this product worked for my friend, her mom, and this random guy at the sephora place. im not trying to be racist, but they were all white (maybe this works for just white people? certain skin types?) i honestly dont know. but i wish the people at murad had jus told me to return the product if it wasn't going to work instead of telling me to just wait and follow some instructions that did nothing. please dont waste your time or money on this product.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Was worse than proactiv.

This product is horrible, the infomercials make you think It'll be better and less irritating than proactiv, but It's even harsher. I highly recommend people to not use either products.
