Pros:

The cleanser feels like it's working and the moisturizer has a nice smell

Cons:

Didn't work for me.

It made the parts of my skin that were already clear very nice but did nothing for cystic acne.

Pros:

Loved the feel of my skin after using the face wash. A very nice cool breezy feeling.

Cons:

This was the worst acne kit I have ever used. My cystic acne got so bad that I didn't even want to go out of the house b/c I was so embarassed about my skin! It's taken me almost a month to clear up what this product did to my face.

Don't believe the commercials about this product..I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy!! I know that they say that you need a couple weeks of "purging' your skin but by week 4 I couldn't take it anymore. I've started Dan's Regimen and my face is almost comletely clear after only 2 weeks. Thanks Dan!!

Pros:

It seemed to make my skin have a nice glow

Cons:

I had even more break outs.

I figured the increase in break outs was part of starting a new treatment. After a while they were not getting better and they seemed to not come to heads causing painful under the skin problems areas. I went back to proactive.

Pros:

Didnt dry up my face if used correctly. Cleared up my minor acne fairly quickly.

Cons:

Worked great for months and months and then slowly skin built up a tolerance and it stopped working.

I suggest getting it if you have mild or minor acne. I had the occasional deep down zit before i started using this and then i stopped getting those painful ones altogether. Unfortunately, your skin builds up a tolerance and it stops working.

Pros:

Packaging & time of Delivery, lessens the swelling & dryness

Cons:

Purging Period & Cost

Long story short, I suffered from chronic cystic acne on my cheeks & jawline & was deperate for a solution. As they always say, "this may not work for everyone" but there is no harm in trying cause at the worst point of my breakouts, I had nothing to lose but seek for other options. When I got my first kit, I followed the directions & I honestly did break out a little more during the first 2 weeks. But those blemishes were smaller & dried up within 2-3 days. One thing I've learned is that only use the Salicylic acid gel(step 2) on the affected areas & in VERY small amounts cause the face wash already contains 1.5 Sal/acid. Same with the sulfur spot treatment. Literally just use a dot right over the pimple & not around it. The moisturizer balances it all. Use lots of it, especially at night so that your skin can rest & heal itself. If you must use any make up, I suggest BARE MINERALS & just take it off with regular baby oil. My face is finally clearing up. BE PATIENT & Goodluck!

Cons:

Burns, Itches, Smell is strong, irritating and chemicals are DANGEROUS!!

K well like so many of you in here....i wish i would have done my research and come across this forum before purchasing this product!! Since day one, this product ruined my face. The first day i used it my face was burning like crazy and i dont think it was because of the "purging" process..it was because it was my face telling me to get this product out of my face. The next day only to my horror did i wake up with my face full of blemishes and around my chin and jawbone i had a lot of ugly bumps and full of puss and just looked inflamed and didnt look normal. I gave it a chance and the next week my face just got worse and everyone was making comments saying that what was wrong with my face? so i went to the doctor and he said that i have to stop using it and murad is one of the worst things i could put on my face. He had to prescribe me medication for the infection and thank god is working!! Dont waste your money and if u dont believe me ask your local doctor about it.

Pros:

I began using Murad's acne kit a week ago along with the body spray. It is great...I have been fighting acne for many many years and although I have never tried the regimen described in this site, I have been to many dermatologists.. this worked.

Cons:

None than I can think of..the spot treatment is excellent. One little dab on a new pimple and it is gone! Don't use a lot of it. Just a bit will literrally erase it the next day. I am impressed!

I cannot believe the difference one week has made. It is expensive but it works.
