Pros:

It looks pretty

Cons:

Totally dried out my skin, it did the total opposite of clearing my skin!

This product claims it's a better choice over Proactiv, but really, its the other way around. I used Murad because it said it was better than Proactiv. After the second week I saw that is dried out my skin and made my acne worse. So when I switch to Proactiv I was so pissed at how wrong the advertisment was w/ Murad. Proactiv cleared ALL of my acne in 1 month, and I haven't had 1 breakout ever since. So if u see "Murad over Proactiv" know this:That's total BS!!!

Cons:

Never stop breaking out!

I've used Murad for about a week now, and its gotten worsee! I've havent stoped breaking out and before I used this product my skin was in so much better conditions. I regret buying it.Total waste of money. I used Proactive a long time ago, and my skin was really good. I had no breakouts or anything. Im gonna go back to proactive because it has worked for me.

Pros:

smells nice... makes skin feel clean and helped breakouts minimally

Cons:

costs too much and isnt as effective as it claims. another proactiv without the exfoliation in the soap.

unless you have light acne thats mainly caused by bacteria and or inconsistent washing routine.. ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!

Pros:

?

Cons:

Probably the most disgusting combination of things I have put on my face. Its already bad enough to have acne, but once you put on all the creams your face feels greasy and uncomfortable. Super expensive, and too many things to apply

I would probably stay away from this as although I didn't use it for more than a week, no matter how bad my skin was I wouldn't feel comfortable with it on my face.

Before my face had normal acne, but now after using it, it seems my acne has gotten so HORRIBLY wrong. im breaking out in places i have never even broke out in. its worthless. the lady at sephora said she used proactiv n it didnt work for her so she moved on to this product. i was in the same situation as her so like the gullable idiot i am, i bought it. i have so many white heads ALL OVER its depressing. i also thought it was the purging proces but after reading these reviews. im am going to discontiue this process. its lamee.

Pros:

Moisturizes well, clean feeling, reduces oil, does not irritate/itch/cause dryness

Cons:

Time consuming, expensive, feels tacky, causes shine, bottles do not pump (can harbor bacteria when touching the dispenser), does not prevent pimples, customer service SUCKS, does not reduce red marks, does not help blackheads

Up until two weeks ago I was on the three step Acne complex kit for about 6 months. I used it twice a day every day and the clarifying mask once a week. At first I did notice a grainy feeling on my forehead and the sides of my face as oil surfaced and dryed up after cleansing (this stopped after the first three weeks). For me, it greatly reduced the amount of oil on my T-zone, but the exfoliating treatment gel caused tackiness and shine so I still appeared oily. I still had regular breakouts so this did nothing to prevent acne for me, but it did slightly reduce the life of smaller pimples. None of the products in the standard Acne Complex kit did anything for red marks or blackheads. CLEANSER: moisturized skin and washed away oil, EXFOLIATING GEL: tacky, caused shine, SPOT TREATMENT: noticeable, prolonged life of pimples, MOISTURIZER: matte finish, not oily, absorbs alright, MASK: reduces pore size, absorbs oil, works only on smaller pimples. Overall, these products were ineffective.

Pros:

The cleanser seemed to reduce the pimples on my face. The moisturizer was pretty good also.

Cons:

The spot treatment was horrible. It was way too harsh and it damaged the skin around my pimple. It made my pimple look worse than before.

I would not recommend this product for people with sensitive skin because many of the chemicals in this product are too intense. I would especially not use the spot treatment from this package as well.

Pros:

Improved skin texture... thats all.

Cons:

Purging process is complete BS. Contains Talc to control shine - A known skin irritatant and acnegenic ingredient for sensitive skin. Creates more problems than it helps. Did nothing to clear my skin. i too got the cystic

Separately all of these ingredients are good for acne, less the talc. However, I think that when combined all of these ingredients are just too much for the skin. Glycolic Acid, Retinol, Salycilic Acid, Algae Extract, and Tea Tree I believe. It causes adverse reactions in the skin and in many cases cystic legions. I also noticed during this that i started to get irritation bumps on the side of my face. I also don't believe this is just a purging process due to the fact that I used this product for 3-4 months so murad is totally BS-ing. Honestly i've seen better results from walmart brands. Save your money and try dermalogica, skin ceuticals, or nucelle.

Pros:

I bought this kit from Sephora, so I was able to exchange it for something else in the store rather than sending it back to the manufacturer.

Cons:

Over-drying. The lotion smells bad.

This kit SUCKED! (For me anyhow) It dried my face out so bad-my lips even got chapped & the product was not even applied in that area. My breakouts just got WORSE!! The breakouts were painful & itchy (not to mention DEPRESSING) My face was severely irritated, it took almost 3 weeks for my face to finally calm down. Definitely not recommended for someone with dry skin. Some folks swear by this kit-but in my opinion, the people who have said this look like their skin is excessively dry-not a good look. I am very dissatisfied.
