Pros:

Haven't seen any after 3.5 weeks of of "by the book" use

Cons:

My breakouts are worse, bigger, deeper and more painful then before I started using the procudct. Created severely dry and scaly patches on my chin and neck.

Just like all the other products I've tried, which is just about everything, this one didn't work for me. It made my skin and acne much worse.

Pros:

i honestly cant even think of something good.

Cons:

extremely irritating, gave me all kinds of cysts, and then didnt even clear them up! they say the first 2 weeks you will experience a break out.. and i def did!! i had these little bumps all over my face like brail. plus a million other pimples and cysts. it was awful and painful.

if you have cystic acne , DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT LINE!. while i was using it i was miserable and extremely depressed because of how my face looks. now i have the scars that wont ever go away because it broke me out so bad... its been one week since i switched to the acne.org regimen and my face is free of cystic acne! if only i wouldve figured that out sooner i would have saved myself the damn scars! :(

Horrible product, gave me cystic acne
I've struggled with moderate acne since I was about 12 years old (I'm 27 now). I would get small breakouts around my chin/jawline that only got worse right before my period. As a teenager, I had some scattered blackheads, whiteheads and pustules but honestly, it was nothing too bad. My regimen at the time was Duac gel in the AM and Retin-A Micro at night. In 2010, someone bought me the Murad kit to help me clear up my skin. Oh man did it make things worse!!! NEVER had I experienced cystic acne - not only was it incredibly painful, but it left my face disfigured for a while. I would never wish cystic acne upon ANYONE. I had huge, red clusters of cysts all over my cheeks and jawline. I was so depressed. No amount of makeup could cover those painful cysts. Needless to say, I threw out the Murad kit (thank God!) and went to my dermatologist for help. I ended up having to go on Accutane for 5 months which was the best decision I could have made to clear up my skin. 5 years later, I still have occasional breakouts, but nothing like the cysts I had before. I still have really bad scarring on my cheeks from the cysts, that I'm hoping will fade with time. If not, it's still better than having cystic acne. Take my advice, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT! Learn from my mistake.

Pros:

Skin feels healthy and smooth.. facial cleaners is good and face mask is ok.

Cons:

Leave skin oily. Don't really like the gel.

I still breakout but not as much. I don't have real bad acne but if you do.. I don't recommend it. It works pretty good for my mom.. that's why I tried it but everyones skin is different. It did help tho.

Cons:

-It had a strange smell
- the purging effect just kept getting worse and worse

Pros:

Cleanser cleans without drying
smells great
leaves face feeling clean, not oily

Cons:

allergic to all other products in the line

I've been an acne sufferer for over 20 years now. Murad was the first product that actually worked for me when used in combinations of other product lines. The key to fighting acne is finding what works in COMBINATION with your skin. I love the Murad cleanser...but can't use any of the product because it causes me to breakout. I use just good old Clearasil ULTRA for spot treatment and the Arbonne's thermal facial scrub once a week. This combination is what works for me to keep my skin glowing and clear. There is no such product that will leave you acne free. it's in the genes. But, finding a good product like Murad's cleanser used with other products is what keeps my flares down to a zit or two a month. For me, that's winning the battle.

Pros:

It worked for me. Skin is clear and scarring is starting to reduce. Easy to use and quick results. No bleaching of fabrics.

Cons:

Quite expensive and has to be bought online as nowhere seems to stock it. Your skin remains a bit oily but mine was oily before.

I've read all the negative reviews on here and felt I should balance it up with my story. I bought a trial pack of the Murad acne system for £7.50 (12-15 dollars) on sale here in the UK. It worked so quickly and so well that I have ordered a 60 day pack from the Murad web site. After 3 weeks my skin is clear and spot free. I have not experienced any of the negative side effects mentioned on here. I think I should say that my skin was pretty oily before and that maybe it works best on that skin type. Unlike BP, it hasn't dried my skin out and I do need to blot/reapply powder more often that I used to using BP. BUT my skin is acne free and my scarring is starting to improve too. If your skin is oily to very oily, I'd give it a try.

Made face feel even more oily. Caused my skin to brake out worst, with tiny little blisters!

I have very oily and dry skin, is a combination and I was told this would clear my skin in two weeks, but the first two weeks it would brake out even more "supposiably" getting all ur pores cleaned out.... Well it never cleared my skin it caused me to have little bitty blisters pop up everywhere underneath my nose and my chin... It's awful!!!!! Taking it back and getting a full refund!!!
