Pros:

after a wash, your face is tingly and feels minty fresh and clean. i love that feeling.

Cons:

well where do i start?
dried skin, not enough repair lotion, major and severe breakouts, flaky skin

i started out with a few pimples here and there, for some odd reason i felt like switching to Murad. bad idea. this is why i'm here, and how i got my severe acne. it was all over. don't buy this.

Pros:

Price is decent compared to other products, but that might be due to the fact that it's sold in smaller quantities. Has a great cooling effect when cleanser is applied that makes it seem like the product is exfoliating your skin.

Cons:

Made skin worse and caused me to break out almost as bad as the first summer I experienced acne and was put on heavy antibiotics. Product made my skin consistently irritated and actually was physically discomforting for the full two weeks I used it.

It's important to remember that there is no cure all for acne and that just because a product didn't work for me it, it can't work for someone else (or vice versa). I have tried three line of products with Proactiv being the first, Skin Perfection MD second, Evolution X (surprisingly good product) third, and Murad fourth. In order of what worked best for me, Proactiv seemed to fluctuate and actually made my skin worse in the second year I used it. Evolution X made my skin (about 90% clear) better, but I know there's still a product that can help me with over 90% effectiveness. Murad comes in dead last with Skin Perfection MD closely on its heels. I've never used a product with such poor results, but that's not completely unexpected since using a product is part of the research process involved in this unfortunate aspect of skin health. I recommend not to buy this product anywhere expect the official website in order to insure you are warranted your 60-day money back trial perio

Pros:

Smell good almost like green tea, doesn't bleach clothes, and has a clean feeling.

Cons:

Purging, but doesn't seem to get better.

So I basically used Proactive for about 2 years, and I heard about Murad and decided to give it a try. Now when I use Proactive, I saw results, but I still broke out a little here & there yet my skin looked better than what it used to look like. I had got Murad and tried it smelled really good, and it didn't bleach my clothes like proactive though. Know I know I would go through a purging stage before my skin got better, but that wasn't the case for me. My skin got even worse I had cystic pimple all on my cheeks and I would wake up to about 50 whiteheads everyday. It was very painful. After about a month and a half of using the product I decided to back to proactive and it cleared it all up again except for now thanks to Murad I have severly bad scaring on my face that I have to get fixed surgically!

Pros:

FEELS REALLY CLEAN, GOOD FOR BLACKHEADS AND TIGHTENS PORES.

Cons:

MAKES U BREAKOUT MORE.. REAL BIG ZITS THAT NEVER WERE THERE

IVE BEEN USEING IT FOR A WEEK NOW AND ALL IT HAS DONE TO ME IS MAKE ME BREAK OUT MORE AND LEAVE ME SCARRED!! ITS HORRIBLE.. AND THE DRYNESS IS REALL NASTY.. I RATHER STICK TO PROACIVE.. IT FELLS KIND OF OILY BUT IT WORKS BETTER.. YOU CAN CALL IT PURGING BUT IT IS NASTY N NEVER HAD MY FACE LOOK LIKE THIS..NOW ITS MESSED UP CUZ OF U GUYS.. EWW!

Pros:

The lotion is not to oily for my skin, it works well all day. The clenser feels great on my skin. The mask and spot treatment worked great also.

Cons:

The gell made my skin feel sticky, and somtimes it made it sting. Also, the gell dosnt smell very good.

Although i was a bit concerned in the beginning, because of the purging in the biggining, but i stuck to it and it was great. My skin cleared up... i had the occasional whitehead (about once a week) but all of my under the skin horrors where gone. I loved it!! i stopped using it about a month ago and my skin is right back to where it started :( im going to get some more tommorrow:)

Pros:

um, the acne spot treatment is my favorite thing EVER. This stuff is non-drying, non-irritating, and zaps pimples like a friggin laser. Sometimes i put it ALL over my forehead and chin/cheeks, etc. (t-zone) and it doesn't bother me

Cons:

All the other stuff is irritating, greasy, made my face painful

I wish you could just buy the spot treatment! (actually they sold it separately next to the counter in sephora)

Pros:

what pros?

Cons:

it doesnt do crap

because of murad and their excellent marketing skills i was suckered..bad. i thought if i just keep using it the acne will go away..bs! it makes your face so much worse! if not worse it does nothing.nothing.do you read me? nothing! do not pay for this over priced hellish product.

Pros:

not sure yet

Cons:

three new pimples since using...burns

I have only been using this product for about 2 weeks now and I have 3 new pimples. Hopefully this is just the "purging stage"

Pros:

None

Cons:

It really doesn't work well for the cost.

I am upset that I purchased this product because I really didn't want to pay for it but the sales lady really pushed for me to get it and insisted that it works well. Well it doesn't do anything for me. Luckily I only bought the trial package.
September 23, 2007

Pros:

I didn't give it a one because it didn't burn my face off.

Cons:

It made my face really oily and weird feeling, I broke out more than usual with lots of little bumps all over my face and some big cystic acne that I never get. I used this product for about a month.

Didn't work for me, neither did Proactive.
