Pros:

I don't really mind the smell as much as other people i guess and i really like the face wash and moistureizer.

Cons:

Making me break out more and not really doing much of anything else for my skin so far.

I've been using these products for alomost 2 weeks now and before I started using it I had severe acne all over my cheeks and some on my chin, but not so much on my forehead and my face was red all over. After a little less than a week my face started getting worse now I have a ton of little pimples all over my jawline. They hurt really bad and they are making my jawline really red. It actually hurts just to touch my face so you can imagine what it is like to wash it. I read the little booklets and went on the website and it says it is the purging process, and that it is completly normal and it will go away soon, but I also read reviews on the internet about people who have used it for 6 weeks or longer and the bad acne that acne complex has caused still never went away. hopefully this is just purging and it will go away but with the luck i've had with acne products it doesn't seem likly. I guess you should give it a try and see if it works for you, everyone is different.

Pros:

none

Cons:

I cleared up for about 4 days then broke out worse than i have ever done before. After about 3 weeks i had to quit because my skin was the worst it has been in my life.

Stay far away from this product. It is just another infomercial scam. They promise you clear, beautiful skin and give you the exact opposite. I would never have used this stuff if i knew what it was going to do to me. I was extremely disapointed and am still recovering. Thank god its mostly gone now.

Pros:

smells nice... makes skin feel clean and helped breakouts minimally

Cons:

costs too much and isnt as effective as it claims. another proactiv without the exfoliation in the soap.

unless you have light acne thats mainly caused by bacteria and or inconsistent washing routine.. ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!

Pros:

?

Cons:

Probably the most disgusting combination of things I have put on my face. Its already bad enough to have acne, but once you put on all the creams your face feels greasy and uncomfortable. Super expensive, and too many things to apply

I would probably stay away from this as although I didn't use it for more than a week, no matter how bad my skin was I wouldn't feel comfortable with it on my face.

Cons:

it was expensive, and a complete waste of money. it made ace WORSE than ever

i have been using this product for about 2 weeks. Before my face had normal acne, but now after using it, it seems my acne has gotten so HORRIBLY wrong. im breaking out in places i have never even broke out in. its worthless. the lady at sephora said she used proactiv n it didnt work for her so she moved on to this product. i was in the same situation as her so like the gullable idiot i am, i bought it. i have so many white heads ALL OVER its depressing. i also thought it was the purging proces but after reading these reviews. im am going to discontiue this process. its lamee.

i was excited when i got it, and i started using it and saw results in a week or so, but after around 2 weeks it just gets worse..im now probably in my 7th week or so, and i am going to quit using it..it just made my face worse. they also shipped me another kit that i wasnt aware of..so i got charged again basically a huge lie of murad..i hope someone sues them and get screwed over

Pros:

skin felt clean, didn't dry out my skin as much as I thought it might

Cons:

medicinal smell, not effective in keeping new acne from forming, just plain disappointing

this is yet another acne kit promising clear skin, yet it simply did NOT work. I was excited about it initially since my skin was starting to improve after only a few days of use. after that though, I started getting really red, inflamed pimples in places where I ordinarily never break out (the side of my nose, under my eyebrow?!). and this wasn't just a "purging" process like Murad claims, because believe me, I was being patient with it and it only continued to ruin my skin. I am currently using Cetaphil cleanser, St. Ives Apricot Scrub and oil-free moisturizer and have gotten better results after only 3 days than I ever got with weeks of using Murad's Acne Complex. I highly recommend avoiding this product.

Pros:

Conveniently packaged together as a set, helped fade red marks

Cons:

Acne gel stings the skin, essentially BURNED my skin upon intial usage, eventually made acne worse (went from moderate pimples to cystic acne), expensive, could only find at Sephora, no SPF protection

Don't waste your time with this. I switched to the Murad kit after seeing the informercial on TV. Don't fall for it like me. The first two weeks were HELL. But, according to them it was a normal purging process, so I didn't give up. It did get better, but I eventually developed cystic acne which I hadn't ever really dealt with before. I have been using this system for about 5 months and though it has helped fade my red marks (or perhaps that was just due to TIME), it has made my skin worse. I went from having occasional pimples to full blown cystic acne (at my worst 5 cysts which had to be injected with hydrocortizone). I'm a bit upset I didn't do my research before wasting my time with this, but I'm also relieved I'm not the only one who has had problems with this system. I am going back to BP, even though I hate the bleaching factor about it. Please don't buy this product. Not only will it sting and burn your skin with it's chemicals, it may cause cystic acne as well.
