Pros:

None

Cons:

Price, and um, the fact that it does work!

Oh, I so wanted this to work. It did not give any relief to the cystic breakouts on my chin. Add this $200 to the zillions of dollars I have spent on treatments.

waste of money for people with moderate severe acne

Pros:

LOOKS like it could possibly work

Cons:

BUT it doesnt work at all. PAINFUL because it uses high hot heat, burns skin, irritates areas around the acne.

I used this product just as the box said .. and it didnt do anything like it said .. Id wake up the next morning and the pimple was still there and even bigger than before I used it .. My skin was clearer before I used this crap and got worse after .. it became all irritated , inflamed, burned .. etc. THIS IS A WASTE OF MONEY!! dont do it.

Pros:

None

Cons:

I bought this as one of my last hopes before asking my Dr. for Acutane. It was inefective. Every pimple I used it on still matured as it would have even if I didn't use it.

Save your money, if you want to try something similar I also tried Thermaclear which has a permanent head that never needs replacing and treatment lasts like 3 seconds. You can get it at [link removed].

Pros:

None.

Cons:

You have to hold it to your face for the longest 2 1/2 minutes of your life just to recieve this huge red spot (somehow much larger than the head of this apparatus) that can take up to an hour or so to fade away.

I bought this item out of desperation bacause I have been getting cystic acne- out of nowhere-- since last summer. Although the products website said it doesn't work on cysts (or many other types of acne) I came across mixed reviews about the product on other websites from people who said it did and they loved it (definately wasn't this site because you folks pretty much dubbed it a piece of crap straight down the line). So I ignored the reviews here, went to walgreens to experience a very embarrasing 20 minute search with 3 different walgreens employees who were'nt quite sure what this thing was or where they kept them (like one of those humorous price check scenes in a comedy for something like adult underwear). Well got home, charged it for 6 hours, began treatment. . . didnt work. Hasn't work since on all varieties of acne. I wouldnt recommend this piece of crap to my worst enemy

Pros:

None whatsoever.

Cons:

Spent my money on trash, Heat makes pimple bacteria grow rapidly and makes the pimples even bigger than before. Did i mention it costs a lot, and its not even worth it.

Bottom line: Dont buy this trash, its hard to keep that thing up for 2.5 minutes on a single point and it is tiring to keep it there. You have to clean the thing every time with alcohol to prevent the spread of bacteria on the metal tip. If you forget just even once, you are just going to give yourself big red swollen pimples. Won't work on most acne, They are vague in telling you if it will work on one pimple and not the other. They usually tell you not to use it in sensitive areas. I've seen that it is only safe to use it under the chin and neck. Anywhere in the face and you might end up with a red dot for...who knows. PLus its hard to pin point where the undergrown pimple is and even though you can feel it under there...you might be putting it on the wrong place and heating your skin...and you know what heat does to your skin...specially in summer... Its a Bust.
