Pros:

provides relief for painful zits (it numbs them a little bit)

Cons:

at first the heat is a little intense, but you get used to it--it doesn't really hurt its just a tad uncomfortable.

I LOVE my zeno, it has seriously saved my life. Although it says not to use on nodular or cystic acne . . . I did anyways. It has helped mine. It does not work as quickly on this type of acne, understandably, but the best part is the relief from the great pain of the bumps! The little blast of heat has helped numb the bumps greatly for me in the past, I have used it for this purpose several times succesfully. Every time I have used the zeno for my nodular/cystic acne (to be quite honest, I'm not sure which one it is that I have. I think it is cystic, as the first time I had one I popped it not knowing any better) it has helped, and the bump will be gone in several days, a much shorter time than if I had left it on its own. Occasionally I will have a bad break out with a lot of bumps, but mostly I just have a lot of small blackheads and whiteheads around my chin, and the nodular/cystic always occur around my chin as well--pretty infrequently, one every month to every three

Pros:

Shrinks most zits in just one or two treatments.

Cons:

Expensive, hard to keep it on the zit.

I have the 'mini' one and use it for nodular acne. After one treatment the zit is usually smaller and less painful. It helps them go away quicker.

Pros:

Works great and is safe for my fair skin
Gives me confidence

Cons:

Can't think of any

I am reposting my review because I want others to know that I am puzzled by the negative zeno reviews on this site (I definitely recommend to others to research reviews on more credible sites). I bought zeno in my doctor's office and have used it for a little over two months now and have had nothing, but success in treating my pimples. I purchased this for only a few problem areas where I consistently have breakouts. I have very fair skin. Used as directed, every single pimple I have used it on was gone by the next day. I have never used an acne product with such extraordinary results. And it didn't dry out my skin either. I'm very happy with this product. It is very soothing to use, and comforting to know my pimple will be gone soon.

Pros:

IT WORKS. Feels good. Most pimples gone w/i about 24 hrs. Recommended by my doctor.

Cons:

Not for severe acne or blackheads (but doesn't claim to be).

Frankly, I'm suspicious at the patterns I've noticed in the poorly rated reviews on this site. I have used this product longer than anyone that has written in on this site. IT REALLY DOES WORK. Use common sense and follow the directions. It will take the full 30 days to really learn the basics on this one because pimples are different and come at different times for different people. Most importantly, use it when the pimple first forms (it doesn't claim to work on old pimples, but it has improved the healing time on older ones for me). It will be gone usually by the next day. The body has to have time to carry the stuff the Zeno kills away, so it doesn't happen instantly, but gradually. I first heard about this product from my dr. Tried it. LOVE IT! ADDICTED TO IT! You can always return it on the 30th day if it doesn't work BUT READ THE MANUAL AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. It's ok to use it a few more/less times until the pimple is gone. A super big pimple could need more.

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Expensive, needs replacement parts,DOES NOT WORK, gives people false hope.

I bought this really hoping it would work because I have had acne for a long time. I tried it for a month and nothing happened to improve my acne. My acne is the kind zeno is supposed to work on but all it did was actually burn my skin, leaving a big red sore. Acne has really made my life a lot worse than it had to be, so I nearly cried when it didn't work, and I was too late to return it, so I lost a lot of money too.I almost think that all the praise given by some reviewers is fake and planted by the makers of Zeno.I also think all the thumbs down for the reviews that tell the truth about how lousy this product is looks suspicious. I hate zeno.

Pros:

Zaps new pimples on the spot. Shortens the life-span of forming pimples. Keeps them small and flat--or shrinks them and flattens them out. Minimizes and/or eliminates scarring.

Cons:

Won't get rid of all of your acne. Just works for spots, and for new ones. The heat can hurt. Expensive. Who knows about long-term affects of heat?

I have hormone/adult acne. While the regimen has helped reduce the spots, new ones do pop up. The Zeno works for me, keeping new ones from forming or reducing their lifespan. This, in turn, prevents scarring. As I tackle existing scars, it is very nice to be able to prevent new ones from forming. Yes, it is hot, and yes, it is expensive. But I am willing to fork out the cash and sit through the pain because I know it's going to work. It does not work for everyone, but if it works for you, it is worth it. The red mark fades quickly, and the pimple disappears, usually by the next day. It doesn't work on all pimples, but it keeps them flat. For me, it even works on pimples that have already formed with whiteheads, even though the package instructions say you have to get them while they are beneath the surface. If you're at the "try anything" point, it's worth a try.

Pros:

doesnt hurt

Cons:

expensive

so i just bought the mini zeno today. I used it on two pimples, which had already matured(your supposed to use it before it has matured) by the time i took it off, the two pimples had decreased by half. There was some redness, although i presume this will go down soon. I will post tomorrow and let you know if they are gone!! I am looking forward to using this on acne that is just begining to show.

Pros:

If you are one of those that forgets to charge, zeno mini works as well as the rechargeable zeno.

Cons:

Not for those who prefer rechargeable gadgets. Although, I guess you could buy rechargeable batteries for it if you prefer.

I bought the zeno mini for one reason (besides the fact that I knew it worked extremely well on my type of pimples) and that was mainly because I am very forgetful about keeping things charged that are rechargeable as it is. Its hard enough to remember to charge my cell phone. So, the mini version is always ready to go when I need it. Also, if you DO NOT store the batteries in it, you will have absolutely no problem with it eating batteries and the batteries will last about as long as the tip. Just take the batteries out when you are done using it. Zeno is a really simple and effective nonchemical way to get rid of pimples fast and it is soothing on the skin too. Use it on pimples that are just beginning as directed.
