Only time and/or laser will fade PIE (red marks). Have you tried Sulfur for your breakouts? I can't tolerate BP among many other things, but I can use Sulfur without problems.

Neither worked on my PIE. Vascular laser and/or time is the only thing proven to work on red marks. I ended up getting IPL and it helped a great deal to fade the redness.

Do not mix vitamin c directly with another product. It'll change the pH level and make it less effective. Wait until it dries on your face ( preferably 10-15 mins) and then apply your moisturizer.

I have persistent red/purple marks and they take around a year and a half to go away by themselves. If your red marks are affecting your well-being, you should look into getting IPL or Vbeam treatment...
