I wouldn't worry too much about taking supplements to deal with side effects. Just deal with them as they come. I'm a little less than 2 months into my course and have yet to encounter any joint pain....

I don't see why not. It affects everyone differently. I've had the dry skin/lips but no joint pains and i'm somewhere around ~50 days in to my course.
