I had this problem when I used PanOxyl 2.5% and 5% BP. Other brands I've not really had an issue with.

whatthekell is spot on, the sequence should follow... Cleanse > Apply treatment > wait 5-10 minutes > apply moisturiser

You can also mix 100% TTO with your normal day-to-day moisturiser. I normally only add one drop per pump of moisturiser.

good luck with the regimen, i'll just echo what has already been said. Follow the steps accurately enough, and don't be tempted to change or add variables until you're skin is clear of active acne!
