Hi I am a 27 y.o black woman (Fitzpatrick 6) and I am seeking recommendations for doctors who can help me address residual scarring resulting from having acne for 17 years.

In June 2022, I had 1 session with Dr. Khrom (we did subcision, filler, and rf microneedling) - results were decent.

I have a consult with Dr. Rullan next week. However, I am seeking other options as well.

I don't mind traveling. Please share your recommendations. Many thanks.

You can also try Dr. Qazi in San Diego. I know him from Instagram, seems to know his stuff and does subcision. There's another commenter that recommends him on here. I do not know from my own experience how good he is, but will probably try to see him next, after I judge the results from my own treatment I just got with a different doctor last week.

Dr. Alexander Berlin in DFW treats scarring. I know he does subcision, TCA CROSS, lasers, etc. Someone here posted some years ago about getting subcision from him. You can search the forums and read about it. I just saw him for TCA. I know of someone locally whose scarring he mostly fixed. He's a MOHs surgeon but also fellowship trained in cosmetics and lasers. Has written and done research on acne scarring. Where are you located?
