Thinking of doing subcision (London)

Hi guys,

Looking for some advice regarding the best treatment for my scars. I have been lurking here for the past few weeks reading on different techniques and have been looking into subcision as a lot of my scars look tethered("stretch test"). Have looked into a few doctors in London such as Dr Anil, Dr Chu, Dr Somji etc.

Was wondering if anyone here have used these doctors or recommend anyone else?

I have attached pics under the harshest lighting I could take. Although in natural light my scars do not look too bad.

I have tried at home treatments as well. I have done microneedling (2.5mm) at home with a pen i have bought on amazon as well as dermastamping(3mm). they have made a little difference but not much as I would like. I also use tretinoin 0.05% 3-4 times a week.

Thanks for your help!

I'm betting you'll need a combo of things. Subcision always seems to make good common sense. I'd look for somewhere that they can do subcision with suction though if you're gonna do subcision.

And then, once you do that, perhaps a deep chemical peel or ablative laser might be in order.

I don't know good people over there but make sure you find someone great.

Hi,

I'm from London and have similar scars to you, maybe mine are more severe. Have you gotten started on treatment? I feel like its hard to find someone in London who is reputable. So far, I'm thinking of going to Dr Anil but not sure.

Give me an update if you can.
