Can someone help confirm scar type and overall plan. I think i have icepick scars. What I have done so far:
6 TCA cross by dermatologist
1 Fraxel
1 CO2 fractional
I am out of ideas. My dermatologist suggest more rounds with fraxel but I am skeptical. I would like to try punch excision but unable to find a good dr to perform them. I also haven't seen any good before and after pictures from punch excision. My skin texture seem to have an orange peel affect after CO2. Pores getting larger? I'm in the Chicago area. Any advice on procedures or doctors would be greatly appreciated.
Hmm. Other than to the right of your nose, I'd say you're good to go. Did the TCA help on the right of your nose area? If so, how much? Unfortunately, scarring can take lots and lots of sessions to improve. If it helped, I wonder if doing more sessions would help. Is he saying fraxel would help in that area specifically? Those scars seem too deep for fraxel to be the go to at this point I would think.
Also...something to consider...you have imperfections but it's not that bad. Maybe just be ok with being you at this point?
