Hi,
My last TCA across treatment was around the beginning of February 2022. I mostly got my ice pick scars treated on my nose and I'm overall very satisfied with the results. My scars were filling in over the 18 months, but it seems like it has slowed down a bit recent.
I only stopped treatment because I wanted to live life a little. During my treatment, I was going every 6-8 weeks for almost a year, and I adhered to staying out of the sun to the letter. It took a bit of a toll on me mentally because I couldn't enjoy going out during the day for an extended period of time for activities like running or hiking.
There are around 3 scars that are still quite visible and was wondering if there is any harm in starting treatment again.
Why would it be bad to start again? I don't quite understand the reasoning why it would be harmful to start again?
Also, wide-brimmed hats are good things for keeping sun off completely so you can still hike and stuff. Just get a really wide brimmed one. You might look a little silly, but hey, oh well.
