It could also be that these people (aka trolls) have done everything to correct their scars, even spending a small fortune, but haven't seen much improvement. That's unfortunate but most of these people have gotten off the wrong foot by getting an incorrect treatment (eg. laser) for their scar as well as expecting too much from too little. Also they are too trusting of their doctor's advice. This is no different for those who congregate around the "Scarless Healing" thread. Why do they want to throw all their eggs in one basket?
Nobody has "shamed" me or anything that I've seen. Coconut was skeptical but I don't think he was being a dick about it, and I wanted to follow up anyway.
I still feel that the pictures are a little misleading, but prove a good point. The scar near my mouth has improved by maybe 40%, and the ones in the center of my cheek has filled in like 90%. It's basically just a pink line at the surface right now. A little dermablend and it's like there's nothing there.
@dazzedPlease use the "report post" feature. We need a paper trail to deal with these issues. We have to look if they broke any site rules

Nothing report really. It has been 10 months since my first subcision/filler, and 6 months from my second on the scars I showed a picture. Nothing has really changed. I wanted to do my third this month, but I got crushed on taxes this year so it's gonna have to wait a couple more months.
Im generally happy with the results. I'll probably start with a TCA peel series after my next sub to try and blend things together.

hey what was the end deal w that tca cross spot that scared the crap out of you? I got tca cross and most spots seem like nothing was done but one seems way worse, scabs fell off about 4 weeks ago.
thanks man
congrats on your scar journey i hope to be there one day to.
also i tried reading all your posts before asking this so besides microneedling, and at home peels, all you have done is 2 subcisions and one w voluma filler, correct?
also from what i can gather, you reached about a good 70% improvement in less than a yr, gives me hope ...i keep seeing posts that say scar revision takes 3-4 years.
The tca cross spot took like 8 months to heal. I'm not sure my skin can handle 100% tca.
I had 3 fraxel treatments, 6 or 7 derminators, 2 subcisions on the cheeks, 1 on the temple, and voluma.
I'm not sure how to put a percent on it. Some scars had a great improvement, and others had a modest improvement.

wow,, so the tca cross spot was deeper for months and then started filling in after 8 months? (I'm sure the redness didn't last 8 months right?) Was the end result better than before you crossed it?
Thanks man

jesus, 8 months for redness to go away...god, I'm using hydroquinone hopefully that helps a bit. Was the end result better than before or do you regret getting crossed at 100%? Did the pits end up "lifting"? Do you mind if ask how old you are, i know the younger the better collagen responds to tx.

dang,, so pretty much tca cross made the pits that were treated wider and kept them that way? at least the redness completely went away. Did you use hydroquinone for the redness at all? did you consider vbeam for the tea cross at all?
Its been one year since my last cheek subcision. The results are still holding pretty well. I think the filler has recently begun to degrade as I'm noticing a little drop off in the scars, but still much better than if I had done nothing.
I wanted to do my third subcision over the summer, but I've been so busy with a new job and girlfriend. I called novicktoday but he didn't answer, must be in Israel. Ill try to set up another appointment and let you guys know how it goes.
Overall I would say the treatment was worth it. It was overpriced but I think Dr. Novick did the job right. Its probably the best option most of us have.
I spoke with him and set up an appointment. Did you need a field subcision? Im concerned about price of individual. Not sure what would determine if a patient needs it or not. He said hed go over it in depth in person but I dont want to go in and not be able to afford if hes doing it per scar
