Hi, I am not sure what you mean by "glitter"? Can you describe what you mean? Is the dimple an indented scar on your face?
Glitter like some kind of papper, not like oily.
My dimple is not like a scar, i think it is fat atrophy, i'm not shure. It can be seen in a certain light.
Thank you so much, V! I guess I just want to ask where the LaViv lab is that she gets the fibroblasts from. I know there are some doing this in Germany and I believe the Ukraine. I don't think it is "LaViv" but it is the same thing...the dermal fibroblasts. Has she done this a lot? Is the nine thousand for all your treatments? Thank you so much. I hope this is working for you. Has your burning become less? What did she say about the burning? Is it permanent damage to your vascular system or does she think that the LaViv will help with that as well?

There is Lab in Moscow - "Human Stem Cells Institute". http://eng.hsci.ru/home This treatment's name - SPRS Therapy http://eng.hsci.ru/products/sprs-therapy , it is treatment with fibroblasts. 9000 $ for all treatment, it includes 2 sessions of injections on all face. Each injections with 60 000 000 cells.
My dermatolog participated in the tests of this treatment. She is one of the first who started to do this treatment in clinics.
Now I feel that my skin is getting better. My skin became a little softer and there is no burning already. Earlier if i had sport or touch my face with little strenght, my face became very-very red for few days. Now it red for 5 -10 min after sport. Rednees became a little less. But my vessels are still visible. Dermatolog said that vessels will be less vissible, cause skin will be thicker. I think I will have to use laser to remove vessels then.
Today i wake up with very oily face. I think it is good.
If you have other questions i will answer.
V- Thank you for this! I looked into the SPRS therapy and it looks very good. Much like LaViv. What I like is that they do an assessment of your fibroblasts beforehand to see how well they will proliferate, etc. Did they do that with you? I also looked at Aerofloat flights to Moscow from here which are very inexpensive! I emailed one of the hosptials there that advertised SPRS- the hosptial on Schepkina Street, I believe. Have you heard of it? I really don't have the money for this and need more reconstructive due to my muscle atrophy as well (fat grafting, implants), but am in the process of moving forward to sue the dermatologist and pharmacy that gave me this cream. I remain hopeful and am so glad you are seeing improvements! Does your skin seem thicker as well? How long ago did you use the steroid? Did you use it near your eyes? Though I did not, my skin seems very thin around my eyes too. I appreciate all of this. If I get to Moscow, I'd love to meet you.

Yes, they gave me passport of my skin, regeneration potential of my fibroblasts is 58%, they said it is good. I dont hear about this hospital on Shepkina street.
I feel that my skin become little-little thicker. Maybe it just seems to me. I stopped to use this cream in october 2013. I did not using it on eyes area, but skin is very thin there.
I want to meet with you too, but i dont live in Moscow I live in Siberia and fly to Moscow to get my treatment.
Did they inject around the eyes? Did your derm say that the steroid damages the skin outside where you apply it? Is Moscow hard to get around? I am just looking for places with English-speaking doctors. Have you flown Aeroflot? They seem to have good prices....much cheaper than all other airlines. Thank you so much for everything. It gives me hope and that means a lot right now.
Use retin a gel for a good six months to reverse the effects of cortisteroids on your skin it should go back to normal after that period and if your still concerned you could try a tca peel after the retin a course
i tried retin, but my face became burn, irritation. I tried twice.
Retin-a will do nothing for steroid atrophy. It is dermal and is caused by the disruption of the ability of fibroblasts to proliferate, which leads to dermal atrophy, a stark decline in collagen, a fragmentation of the elastin fibres and degradation of the extracellular matrix of the skin. Only things like fibroblast therapy and perhaps dermal substitutes like Matriderm, Alloderm, etc. may help.
V- the muscle atrophy is severe. My temples became hollowed out, my jaw narrowed, and it shifted my bite. My left cheek sunk in slightly (buccal area). Do you have any of this? I hope not. How is your skin feeling? I am sending hopeful thoughts for you.

Thank you. My cheeks are little fell. I think, it can improve with fillers.
Now, no more changes in skin.
V- When you say there are no more changes in the skin, does that mean you have you stopped seeing any improvement? Is it still red or is a more normal colour returning? You likely had damage to your subcutaneous fat in the cheeks (you said that is where you applied it the most, right?). Fillers or fat grafting would help. Many doctors still don't know the full extent of the damage steroids do to the skin and subcut tissues, so it makes our journey hard. Keep strong.
Did your derm inject near your eyes?
I'm not red now. I had some inprovements on this time, my skin looks better than it was, but now i dont feel anything. I will wait.
Yes injections was on my eyes area too.
Oh, it is so hard. All women in my family was looking young for long time. My mom 45 now, but she looks like 35. I am 25, but my skin looks 40
Cutechick, what do you think about this http://drfukaya.ocnk.net/page/1
I used Dr. Fukaya's hyaluronic lotion and he even messaged me. I think it is good for epidermal atrophy and the sensitivity/burning due to steroids, but not for our issues. I hear you. My family all age very well and I was (looked much younger than my age). I am 42, and now my skin looks older than my mum's as well. Plus, it is very scarred (straie). Keep the faith. I do think there are things that will help. Do you feel that the fibroblasts are making the skin look any younger?
