BRD,When was the last time you were in contact with the Aoluosi clinic? Have they discussed with you about how they are investigating using GF's from umbilical cords?

I spoke to them more than a month ago. It was around the time that you had them contact me. They asked me about my methodology and I gave them a quick overview. They did not mention anything about isolating GFs from umbilical cords, but I can see the benefit of doing that to an extent. This is better than nothing, but perhaps another strategy would be to isolate GFs from a more potent source.
I have isolated GFs (identical to their human GF counterparts) from the embryos of 5 day old fertilized chicken eggs. These contain a host of beneficial GFs (ie: TGF-b3) that are not as abundant in later embryonic development. Human first trimester foetuses also have different GF ratios that allow them to generate/regenerate tissues with exceptional efficiency. As I've said before, foetuses at this stage of development can heal in a scarless fashion. At later stages this does change as various tissues in the body alter their responses to injury with inflammation that minimizes the risk of infection, but in also contributes to fibrous tissue growth at the expense of original tissue functionality.

This is the stem cell treatment by Tiantan Puhua. This is from a new correspondent who is in charged of acne scar apparently. When I receive the pictures from them, I will post them. Apparently most of their acne scar patients are referred to them by this korean hospital, https://rnl.co.kr/eng/main.asp . This looks pretty exciting but sadly I do not have the resources to go for this treatment as of now. Most likely I will need to wait at least 2 more years before I can afford this treatment. If anyone is interested in this I can forward the email to you

P.S BRD, have you heard of RNL Bio before, its a company specialising in stem cell research, and refers patients to Tian Tan. I wonder if it is a reputable company.
Treatment Procedure:
The new plan will last 3weeks, 2 weeks for stem cell propagation and 1 week for injection. You do not need to stay in hospital after every procedure.
1) we will extract at the most 30ml fatty tissue from your abdomen under local anaesthesia.
2)The fatty tissue will immediately send to lab to isolated and cultured. that will forming new blood vessels, collagen fiber and regennerating tissues.
3) After two weeks, you'll receive two times stem cell injection (with in one week)of your autologous adipose stem cell. For some oversea patients, they don't want to travel again after 6 months for 2nd time injection, so we make the other short term plan for them. because you are not in China, so I recommend the 3 weeks plan to you. If travel again after 6 months will not be a problem, you can have the 2nd injection after 6 month.
Before every injection,you will receive stem cell growth factor injection at the same day. Each time you'll receive 50 millions stem cells.We inject the cell mix with growth-promoting media and use 1ml syringe (every time you will receive 4 syringes) with very thin needle for stem cells injection and roller with needle for stem cell growing factor.
Cost:
The total treatment fee is 58,000RMB (about 8,660USD) which is including 10 years stem cells storage, liposuction, 2 times injection and stem cell growth factor injection. after then, 10,000RMB injection each time.
Concerning before and after photos, most of our patients are send by our Koran cooperative partner( Kora RNL), https://rnl.co.kr/eng/pr/pr_news_read.asp . they keep all the photos and we'll send to you once we get them.

This sounds very promising and the only thing is the price :/, cause then you have to pay to get there and where to stay and eat in that country. Hopefully we can have something similar in the US. But here in the US not too many derms care about acne scarring as it doesnt happen to many of us.
Regarding the treatment, the only thing i am concerned about is the growth factor. According to my doctor, the stem cells are created using enzymes to break down the fat. Afterward, either bacteria or animal stuff is used as growth factor to multiply the stem cells.
The problem with using these foreign reagents is that there may be a chance of complication occurring if the lab is not careful..
I am not familiar with the process but this was what my doctor told me. Thus it is better to do this treatment in a reputable hospital in order to minimize complication. Kinda like how you want an experienced derm to so the surgeries on your scars, cept in this case it is experienced and reputable hospital. In fact, my doctor mentioned how he saw very good results from japanese hospitals.
Well, I haven't heard from the Belgian research center yet and to be honest I don't think I will. Also, when I had them on the phone a while ago they were actually quite rude so I'm not excited about calling them.

Hey BRD, I have two questions as well. As you can tell from my username I don't have acne scars. Instead I have a solitary, depressed scar due to an injury which I sustained during a near fatal traffic accident. I fell on the ground at high speed. I'm still very handsome, though. lol 🙂 But needless to say, if the scar can be improved it would be cool. It already has improved a great deal through a few Vbeam treatments (and I plan on getting a few more) but if stem cells could eventually take it even further that would be interesting.
Do you think I could benefit from stem cell injections the same way as people with acne scars possibly can? Or should I expect different results, hypothetically?
Also, I noticed you mentioning the chicken eggs... I can see a vegan or a vegetarian being reluctant to get treated because of that. So I was wondering, do many potential stem cell treatments make use of things that are derived from animal products?

i also have a question but its not about scars or stem cells. it is to do with a skin problem that i have had for a while and doesnt seem to go away. its hard to explain properly but i can post a picture of my skin. should i post it here as you inbox is full (its not about scars though) ?

Experts grow new teeth in adult mice

Aug. 3, 2009 (Reuters) a Scientists in Japan have managed to grow fully functional teeth in adult mice using cells from an embryo, and they hope the same technology can be used to grow human organs in the future.
The researchers described how they had developed a "bioengineered tooth germ" - or seed containing certain cells taken from a mouse embryo. The seeds were later transplanted into the jawbones of adult mice.
"The hardness of the enamel and dentin of the bioengineered tooth was equivalent to those of a natural adult tooth," they wrote in response to questions from the media.
The new tooth also came complete with nerve fibers and the mice responded to pain tests.
Led by Takashi Tsuji of the Research Institute of Science and Technology at the Tokyo University of Science, the team hopes this technology can be used to grow human organs.
"The ultimate goal of regenerative therapy is to develop fully functioning bioengineered organs that can replace lost or damaged organs following disease, injury or aging," they wrote.

Hi BRD,If the skin is dermabraded where hair currently exists and then stem cells are injected into this area followed by an application of GFs & ACell, would the hair regenerate along with healthy tissue or is there a good chance the hair does not return? thx
what about with laser instead of dermabrasion ... would the hair still grow back ?
BRD. Roughly, how much improvement % wise, do your patients get in their scars after being treated by yourself using stem cells ? How many stem cell treatments do you recommend for moderate scaring. Also is there anychance you could post before and after pics of your patients so that we can see what the improvement is like. you could black/block out the eyes to hide their identity or post only close up pics of the skin.

I was discharged a few month ago so I can,t get in touch with them personally, have you told your aunt about BRDs protocol because I know these Dr,s are devoted to helping people with scarring
