Btw, I haven't found the time to call the Belgian researcher's co-worker yet. I might call him tomorrow but if I end up being too busy, it'll have to wait until next week.
As you may have guessed; I haven't found the time. So it'll have to wait until next week. By the looks of things, I'll call them next Wednesday.
I sure hope it won't be as awkward as when I had that receptionist on the phone, though... Even though we both spoke Dutch we still spoke a different language. lol And I couldn't understand what she said about 30% of the time because she almost whispered.
Anyway, I'll let you know what he said.
Hi BRD, I tried to send you a private message for a few months but your mailbow is always full.
I know first hand that stem cells that you get in fat grafting do alot of magic, I was only 22 when I had my fat grafting so I really think at that age there are way more stme cells present in the fat than the older women in ther late fortys who get it now. The fat was taken from my inner knee. The area injected has not aged one bit in 16 years and has even gotton more youthful.Has regenerated when injured.Seems invinsible. One draw back is that the fat also grew a little.
My important question to you is "do you know how close stem cells have to be to an area of injury in order to repair it?"
Franklins Tower,
The injectable ECM solution is simply composed of fine extracellular matrix particulates (0.05mm - 0.2mm particle size) combined with PRP. As the platelets in the PRP begin to coagulate, they form a solid yet permeable scaffold that allows for other cells in the body to infiltrate the area and begin a kind of rough/imperfect reparative though limited rebuilding process. This scaffold is normally reabsorbed and replaced by granulation tissue which initially consists of Type III collagen that is later replaced by Type I collagen (abundant in scar tissue). However in the case of the methodology and technology I've developed, the added ECM particulates embedded within this scaffold can enhance a number of cellular communication and differentiation pathways and help stimulate a more organized regenerative response. They form what can be likened to an informational network infrastructure that works in synergy with the coagulated platelets 3D superstructure. That in combination with AD stem cells and added proteins make the results that much more positive for people with tissue deficiencies (ie: atrophic scars).
While it's not perfect, it does give us more enhanced results. By putting this out in the public domain I am making it very difficult for myself to patent this particular solution and/or procedural methodology. Nor can anyone else patent it unless they can significantly improve upon it. Call it open source bio-tech.
So any doctor can use it freely if they have the luminescent light bulb up to top to research it, test it and apply it. Of course national regulations come into play, but regardless of the unique barriers that are present in one place or another, I hope what I'm sharing here will hasten the access to this type of technology worldwide.
Thus in the meantime I'll continue to write from the shadows of obscurity, for with a mission to destroy acne scars, a secret identity and a disregard for the often rigid medical institutions and inertial trivialities of many a colleague, I have the power to help.
And simply because I feel like injecting some humour into this discussion, here's something I hope will lighten your day (courtesy of 4Q.cc):
"Chuck Norris sold his soul to the devil for his rugged good looks and unparalleled martial arts ability. Shortly after the transaction was finalized, Chuck roundhouse kicked the devil in the face and took his soul back. The devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Wednesday of the month."
Hi everyone,
Iave been reading this thread for quite some time now, checking in everyday, and reading all the latest stem cell related articles. I completely understand peopleas frustrations, and I relate to so much of what has been said on here. BRD is such an inspiration and it has been my dream to be involved in something like you have mentioned icaretohelp. I would be willing to help in any way possible.
There is so much passion and commitment within this forum that surely if weare working together, focusing on the same goal we can really help move things forward. Is there any way we can set up some sort of a research fund through acne.org to help?
Hi allIs this RegenPRP Tissue Regeneration the same thing ?
http://www.bolandcell.co.za/REGEN-PRP-MESO.htm
Thanks
You're asking if it's the same thing as ADSC, right? Well, it's not. It's PRP with growth factors, if I understood correctly.
oh ok, thanks, it just kinda confuses me
What the doc briefly adv me about this RegenPRP is that she will use the centrifuge machine that turns the blood into growth factors  And it takes 2 hrs and she can perform the treatment on me after that.
And she wants to combined the PRP with the dermarolling.
Is it supposed to stimulate new collagen growth? :shifty:
Appreciate all the reply I can get before I go ahead and book an appt for this 🙂
Thanks in advance.
Yeah, it's confusing me too. 😆
But this....
The needle mesotherapy gun, loaded with the patient's own GF's suspended in enriched PRP, provides for stimulation of fibroblasts by mechanical forces and then facilitates rejuvenation by accelerating the healing process and collagen deposition through activation of cytokines. This is a new innovative form of achieving ACR: new delivery vehicle of REGEN-PRP for facial rejuvenation. This may be achieved by either an autocrine or paracrine effect that occurs in the dermis and adjacent E-D junction. Thereby skin stem cells sited in the space of Grenz are activated with keratinocytes and fibroblasts
...is supposed to result in tighter skin and improved texture and tone.
I think.
I have some big plans for us alll when i got to the UK.. BRD has given me an extra incentive..in 2 weeks im going to let you all know how things have gone and if the plan i have (which is regarding opening a center dedicated SOLEY to acne scarring or scarring in general) in DUBAI.
It would be based totaly AROUND this thread..
That sounds very interesting, icaretohelp. I'm looking forward to hearing how things develop.
like everything, seems to be 10 years away but this is worth a listen;
British scientists have come up with a way of dramatically enhancing the body's ability to repair itself. Dr Sarah Rankin, of Imperial College London, technology correspondent Tom Feilden, and Roger Pederson, professor of regenerative medicine at the University of Cambridge, discuss how the body can be made to release a flood of stem cells into the bloodstream - enabling the body, potentially, to repair heart tissue after a heart attack or even mend broken bones.

Hey BRD,
I'm curious if this procedure could work for other types of scaring such as stretch marks, burns or cuts? The reason I ask is I came across a doctor here in LA advertising his usage of mesenchymal stem cells but the advertisement was for stretch marks. I'm not a doctor, but from what I understand this procedure of harvesting and injecting mesenchymal stem cells could work for all scaring, right? Sorry this is a little off topic but could you please confirm this?
Thank you

interested in this as well.
icaretohelp 65-70% improvement is huge. congrats on your success. what methods did you use that helped you achieve this? prp injections and dermarolling?
Hello to all,
My name is Vince and Iam from Pittsburgh. Pa. Have been reading every ones thread about acne scarring and such. I am with all of you in this battle to get the skin you desire or get back what you have lossed.
2 yrs ago I had an IPl with a Dr who claimed his Polaris/fotofacial machine worked better than fraxel.
At that time I only had a few acne scars, but overall had pretty good skin, but not great. This Dr put the frequency way up on the right side of my face where I was red and swolen for almost a week. He kept saying my result would be better over time because he used such a high frequency. Well about a month later these indentations starting popping on my right cheek, then eventually on my left cheek, but not as bad as the right since the Dr lowered the frequency on the left side. EventuallyI lost volume on both cheeks. There is another site dedicated to laser victims who have the same sort of misfortune. They all say it was fat loss
The Dr said this only happened to one other patient and he offered me sculptra but I wanted nothing more to do with him.
I went and had fraxel and fraxel repair done by some the best Drs in the US with no improvement. In fact the fraxel repair caused a little more atrophy. These Drs all said that IPL cant cause fat loss nor can the fraxel but they are all wrong. I have spoken to several people who have had bad results with fraxel. So Iam done with lasers and like all of you have searched out fat grafting Drs and stem cell options.
Recently visited Dr Giampapa in NJ and Dr Lam in Texas. Dr Giampapa uses a growth factor to stimulate stem cells and his procedure takes a little over an hour to peform. He felt I would have a very good outcome.
Dr Lam felt that fat may not do so well in some of the areas of my cheeks because they appeared more as acne scars. I told him those areas were caused by the IPL. He said that he could not predict how well the fat would take, but to wait 6 months after the grafting and then decide if silicon would be needed in some of the indented areas. He did say I should have a overall good result, but I still did not feel extremely confident. with either Dr. At this point I am doing homeopathy, vitamins and oils for my face. I would travel abroad if it meant getting improvement. I am here to join in with you all to see what options are out there.

Very sad story. Did you report this doctor ?
if they discovered the technology for free energy, teleportation, and other science fiction-y stuff (yet science fact) which evidently EXISTS then how on earth could we *not* figure out a way to fix scars COMPLETELY?!??!
(u can skip to 37 min mark..)

I did not report the Dr, because I signed consent papers. His nurse did say she was surprised he used so much frequency to start the procedure. He knows he screwed up and he knows that I know. That Dr has caused me so much grief and money.
People that are close to me cant really see what Iam talking about when they look at my face. Its not real bad but I know when I look in the mirror what the issues are. If I had a 60% improvement then I would probably satisfied. The question is what to do... continue on with intake of essential fatty acids, homeopathic remedies, vitamins and vitamin e oil externally, or consider fat grafting if that fails. Definitely more laser is not an opton because that cant bring back lost volume.

Hey BRD, can you comment on my previous post please?
for BRD - i sent tried to send you a PM but your inbox is full. here is the messege
Hi BRD, i know your a really busy person and you get alot of messages but i was wondering if you could help me out with a problem with my skin. i have large pores all over my nose and inner cheeks. These bother me A LOT more then the scars i have becuase they look like perfectly round icepick scars. (im not bothered about the acutall scars i have as they are not deep at all) the pores on my nose get clogged up with the whiteish solid round clump (not sure what it is) that can be rubbed off the skin but they come back within just a few days. these come out from the pores on my nose and i can tell that they are making my pores large due to the clumps stretching the pores (the clumps look like large grains of salt).
Is there anything that you recommend that can effectly treat large pores ?
they are causing a huge problem in my social life (not that i even have one anymore) and i really want them gone.
Thanks
V
I care to help what is the cytori machine?
i just want everyone to know on the the 27th i had my stem cell/prp injection with needling and dermarolling...i dont have much time on the net right now so ill give you all a proper update..he used the cytori machine.
illl update with how everything looks in 2 weeks.
be well all
Hi, ive been following this thread for a while now and i finally decided to go with aoluosi, when i called them they initially said the stem cell(?) treatment was 6600 CNY per tube of the stuff, but after i emailed them my photos they said the estimate is about 80000 CNY, my scarring isn't even that bad...
So i was wondering if anyone else has had estimates or have gone to the clinic for treatment. If so was it worth it ? because thats about 12000+ CDN.
thanks
I,m so pleased i,ve found this forum. I have already contacted the stem cell clinic in Kiev and they said their treatment would help my facial scarring but i,m still sceptical I,ll give you some history of my condition and treatments for acne scarring. I went through co2 laser treatment in 2002 it smoothed some scarring but as you all know did,nt erase them. I then underwent an exoderm peel in 2006 ( the worst decision of my life) apparantly the peel start seeping into my open pores widening them and while i was sedated the dr decided to try and erase them by performing dermabrasion with devastating results. My pores looked huge, burnt with a lot of hard scar tissue around them and my skin is almost transparent not to mention ghostly white. I then had to go through laser treatment again to try to soften the scar tissue but the dr could,nt go to deep for fear of further scarring but it did leave me with laser scars as the skin is tissue thin and my cells are damaged. I then went through 7 dermaroller treatments which have softened the scars slightly. I now have no self confidence at all and no amount of make up hides my flaws. I am so desperate and self concious about my skin i am thinking of selling my house to pay for stem cell treatment as i need my life back. Why won,t BRD help if he has the answer, does he realise what this means to the likes of us
