So, does it mean plastic surgeons who do fat grafts and fat injections can do this for acne? Is this a common treatment?
icaretohelp its soo cool you got the procedure done im so happy for you !
but im still confused as to what EXACTLY you had done. so what was it ?
did you get blood injection
or
fat injections
did he not lipo any fat from you today for the stem cell bit when you go back ?
from what i have read you got the blood injection only WITHOUT the stem cell bit (culturing and multiplying them) am i correct in saying this ?
anyways whateva you had done i hope you get amazing improvements
Icaretohelp,
I wish you great results!
A few questions:
1) You had PRP injection, did Dr. Khan add any extra GF (Growth Factors) to combine with the PRP before injecting?
2) Did dR. Khan do multiple injections to each scar, injected from different directions, or just one injection on each scar?
3) Did he use a traditional syringe?
4) How many scars do you have (scar counts) if you don't mind me asking, and how many injections approx did you think you had?
5) How red did you get immediately afterwards, the intra-dermal haematoma, are they bright red or more opaque red? Do you take any pictures (right after procedure) and are you planning to take pictures to document your healing process?
6) Could you please PM Dr. Khan's contact to me?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

Anyone know or tried this product?
It apparently generates Stem Cells from your own bone marrow, and yeah it sound good from the Dr videos.
BTW: Can Stem Cells run out of your body or bone marrow?

Hey, Foxclose, not to sound like a jerk (please don't take it that way!) there are literally hundreds of products like this on the market, and there have been for quite a while. Not only that, but, being a marketing/design professional, I have a really hard time taking a company seriously when their website is so hideous. I have worked with companies like these that tout a product like this, and as far as I know there's really not any hard evidence to show it's effectiveness. I don't think it could hurt, and it may be marginally effective in putting adult stem cells into the blood stream, but there's no proof to show they go to work on the damaged parts of the body.
These products "claim" to put more of your own adult stem cells into your blood stream so all parts of your body can have access to them for repair, etc. While I'm not going to comment on whether this could be beneficial for your general health or not, I don't think this is going to be effective for acne scar repair, as it's not a concentrated amount going right into a scar. There is a MAJOR difference between having stem cells floating around in your blood stream, and then injecting a concentrated amount directly into the area of concern.
If I've given misinformation, please correct me. But I feel pretty confident about what I've said.
Just my two cents.
icaretohelp,
So you had PRP injections done. How are things looking for you. Also what type of scars do you have and how did the whole procedure go. What made you decide to go with PRP over the stem cell injections? Any info on PRP from your doctor would be great. I am going next week to ask about having PRP done. All my doctor would need is a centrifuge right?
i think that prp was waht Dr Khan recommended for icaretohelp's scars and maby stem cells later. to me its sounds like Dr Khan is not that confidednt with stem cells or he dosent have the quipemnt to do it ... im not sure though. i dont see why he doesnt just do stem cells for any type of scar whether its superficial or severe.
I am going to mention PRP to my doctor next week. I hope he has the equipment to do this procedure. It just seems like all he would need is a centrifuge. If he is unable to do them then I will just continue doing blood injections on my own. I know it doesn't have the growth factors mulitplied, but I think it will be better than doing nothing. I will see.

No, of course you're not a jerk. I am sensitive, but not totally stupid. I just thought the science explained in the web site is similar to what's being discussed here. Just thought it was interesting.
If you google up the Drs name, you would find that he has previously been banned from practice and has a history of lawsuits against him. He does procedures that extract stem cells from the bone marrow and transplant them elsewhere on the body.
As for Dr Khan, if I really know he was competent in doing ASC Stem Cell injections properly, I would pay the 120, just for a consultation. But I guess I just need more information on him.
