Do you put it on your face dry, or do you wash first? Curious.

Well, I wash my face and then towel dry it. After that I put ACV. I keep my ACV in the fridge,it's already mixed with water.

Hi. So does apple cider vinegar really get rid of red marks? I am considering using it to get rid of mine. Sorry, I am kind of unclear on the instructions. Do you drink it or do you put it on your face? Also, is it safe to use? I read about someone who used it and it made them break out more and changed their bowel movements and made their stomach hurt. I really don't want to do anything dangerous.

I drink it and use it on my face. Well, not right now. Somebody got me this C serum, and I am using it.But I drink ACV. Especially after I ate something sweet or oily.:D Which rarely happens.

BUT it works. When you drink it, you put about 2-3 spoons into the glass of water. I noticed that when the water is cold it doesn't taste too bad. Drink it after the meal not before, don't put too much.2) for your face, you have to mix it with water 50:50. Keep it in the fridge.

do you moisturize after using ACV? :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja:

Yes.

And to the people who have asked if they should wash it off...the answer is a resounding no.

Since my last post on here, my regimen has been insanely simple:

Cetaphil sensitive cleanser

50/50 acv

neutrogena sensitive skin moisturizer.

My skin has never been better.

How much do you use on your face? How often do you put it on your face? Do you have to drink it too or can you just put it on your face?

So I'm thinking of trying this... but I'm worried of an initial breakout.

Because my skin is 100% clear right now but I have a patch of red marks in between my eyebrows that are 3 months old.

I want to apply it there but I don't want a breakout.

Apparently organic ACV is best, but supermarket brand will be fine too.

This shit is garbage.

Clogged my pores big time.

And gave me white bumps everywhere.

I used 50/50 too.

The whole point of it is to bring the nasty stuff up to the surface quicker.

I put some in a spray bottle, do I need to rub it in with a cotton ball or just spray and leave it on?

I bought the Meijer brand ACV, do you think that will work okay or should I stop by the health food store and get some organic ACV? I've already used the Miejer ACV 50/50 with water today and my skin feels softer and a little less oily already, but I just don't want to break out because the non-organic has extra chemicals in it or something.

I would use a cotton ball better control plus you dont want to get it in your eyes. Close your eyes while you apply and dont open them till it doesnt smell as strong. It make your eyes water if you dont. Use the organic kind because you dont know what kind of pesticides and such were used. The organic is more beneficial with the nutrients and not processed as much so its unfiltered and still contains the mother. If you have a choice always chose organic if you can. Oh and leave it on i do mine at night cause it stinks.

ACV seems like such a good option, but it's impossible to find any organic brands around here.

anyone from canada know a spot?

Well, ACV was a failure for me. I don't know if I did something wrong, but it didn't work at all, except for at first.

You see, I started out by using Meijer brand ACV diluted 50/50 on my face, and it started to look a little better and got a lot less oily. Then I heard that organic is better, so I bought some organic and started putting it on straight. After a week, NOTHING had happened. My skin was still oily as it was before I used any ACV, and my acne didn't budge. I told myself it was a waste of time and I was better of going back to the diluted Meijer ACV. But now I'm out of luck. The Meijer ACV won't work on my skin anymore! I used it for a couple of days and my skin looked like it did when I was using organic.

It really upsets me, because I was really hoping for this to be a big help for my skin. Now apparently organic ACV had ruined it all.

I think the only good thing the organic ACV has done is ever so slightly lightening a few of my redmarks. That's a good side to organic, but if it's just going to make my skin worse, it's not worth it.

How long did most of you guys wait before ACV kicked in? Problem is, I'm only using a Kroger brand ACV. It's been 2+ weeks, but it looks like it isn't doing anything.Should I continue?

i have been using apple cider vinegar as well for about 1 week, and i already see huge improvements....no new pimples and the red marks are significantly decreasing. I sometimes alternate, with tea tree oil or oregano oil...the smell is horrid and it stinks up the room though. After i have used the ACV and it dries, i put on a salycic acid lotion, because the ACV can make it a bit dry and red, and it really really helps! this is probably the best treatment so far.
