hey guys, I've been reading that people drink acv and it helps a lot with acne..
I have acne on my arms and would like to try drinking acv to see if it would help
what do u guys think?
another question, I've read that drinking acv has helped people, with losing weight..so I'm concerned about that, since I'm sskinny , I don't wanna lose a pound!
ONLY 4 DAYS into using ACV and ive already seen great results. i wasnt expecting results so quickly, but im absolutely amazed. (its probably due to the fact that i also apply it 5 times a day lol). i dont think it will take much longer to completely eliminate the red marks on my face. everyone should definitely try this for sure!!
could someone please answer these questions as i don't have time to look through the whole thread.
the ACV i want to use it ASPALI organic cyder vinegar and has 5% acidity, is this okay?
i read about people burning themselves, is that thorugh using it 100% pure, instead of 50% also is there any chance that you could scar yourselve through using this.
and how many times a day should i use it.
Thanks.
I have some questions on ACV before using it:
I stopped using accutane 3 weeks ago, all my acne is gone but I'm left over with scars: red marks.
I don't have that much of red marks but if I could reduce it even more, why not?
So my question is: is there any way ACV could get me back into acne activity since I stopped my accutane treatment 3 weeks ago?
ALL ON FIRST PAGE
2. *Optional* Can add a few aspirin in the Toner or make a toner with asprin in it separately. The asprin is essentially nothing but Salicylic Acid which is a Beta Hydroxy Acid (exfoliates skin), SA also dries up acne and can penetrate deeper into the pores unblocking clogged pores, which I find helps more with removing blackheads IF you don't like to manually exfoliate. Instead of plain water you could use Green Tea (the kind you make with water and a tea packet, not Snapple lol) because Green Teat is packed with antioxidants to fight the aging process and it would def. give your skin an extra boost because of the caffeine content.
3. Use a cotton pad, cotton ball, or spray bottle to apply ACV Toner.
4. I still occasionally break out usually hormones so I currently use Tea Tree Oil, Benzoyl Peroxide. Yes TTO is better then BP to me because it doesn't dry your skin out as much or interfere with the healing process, but I am pregnant and I cannot use TTO anymore.
5. Sometimes I use ACV full strength it all depends on how my skin is feeling .. somedays it can handle it. There is nothing wrong with using full strength.. you just have to know your own skin. If you have sensitive skin I suggest sticking with the 50/50 solution, and if it is tougher than applying the ACV without water every now and then is okay too.
PS
if you do not use 50/50 water/ACV at first then yes you will burn, become red, possibly scab and leave scars. This is an acid and if you read what I have stated above then there is no reason for burning to occur.
ALTHOUGH
If you know you have sensitive skin I suggest using more water and less ACV at first so you do not burn.
OK, its been about a week since Ive started using ACV and I've only used it once a day. Twice a day for 2 days maybe. I can say, i havent broken out any and i think the oil has reduced. wow. I still get oily but not like before. If i dont use it at all, i get oily but i think ive seen a reduction in the amount. Im on minocycline so that with the acv is helping to clear up. I hope the oil greatly reduces itself. Summers around the corner so we'll see. So far Im still a ACV fan. I think its working tone down the oil.
Thanx guys!
I'm confused, you say any brand, yet it seems theres a raw and natural kinds compared to some other ones. I have Western Family acv 5%. I use it undiluted and it doesnt sting at all or leave red marks. It just waters my eyes up pretty good. Is BRAGG the best one because it has the "mother" or whatever it is.
I have been using this on some marks on my chest for 2 weeks and I haven't seen any improvement. In fact I actually think ACV might have caused a few red bumps on my chest as well.
Note I use my fingers to apply it, does this matter? I wash my hands thoroughly with soap before doing it.
