I've been using acv topically for almost 2 months now. I had a bottle of braggs cause I used to drink it. I'd rather use it on my face than drink it. Anyways I think it has helped a lot with the overall condition of my skin. My red marks are 75% better than they were before using acv. I stopped using bp a few months ago which also helped alot. Bp made the red marks and acne much worse for me.

so can i buy this at albertsons or tom thumb or any regular grocery store? if so, where in the store?

i'm a little skeptical but i mean i've been using the csr for like 8 months now and it hasn't healed my acne at all, it just works really well at healing pimples when they come up but doesn't at all prevent new ones from coming. and my red marks are reallllly bad due to the bp.

so 50/50 acv and water using a cotton swab over my face after washing and before applying bp?

is it similar to the process of using that toner crap from proactiv?

I agree, I usually only get burning after using it for a week or so undiluted. Then I back off and dilute it

Hi! As for most of you ACV seems to be working very well for me too, but I have some quoestions. :)

I recently bought some 99,6 % Aloe Vera juice, what do you think about diluting ACV 50/50 with this instead of water? At the moment I use the Aloe Vera right after the ACV. I know it probably isn‚´t going to be more efficient, more of a timesaver. Could this have any negative effects, does it matter what substance you use to dilute the ACV with?

Contents : Aloe barbadensis, citric acid, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, sodium sulfate.

ok i dunno what to do

i tried the ACV last year for a few months...i used it straight i think...and my skin was ok...a lil dry.......

but i didnt notice a bit difference...i noticed i got red at first...so im thinking putting it on straight wasnt good for me...after a few months when id apply it..my skin looked burned and id get a rash

should i try it again but mixed with water?

and if so .....will it be ok to use EMU OIL after cuz im usin that now and i like it.......

umm let the accutane clear up your skin and the red marks will heal in time, your skin will be very sensitive and using ACV on it now would be a big mistake

ACV organic or not oragnic, filtered or unfiltered is fine. I would guess that anything organic will naturally be better but I can't say bc I have never bought organic ACV.

Am I supposed to be able to find 100% ACV? Everything I find says its dilluted to 5% acidity with water.. so is this what everyone is using, and diluting to 50/50 with more water if necessary?

there is so such thing as 100% ACV .. 5% means 5% acidity of acetic acid has nothing to do with the Apple Cider Vinegar itself. And yes diluting it even more is necessary bc 5% of acetic acid can most definitely burn your skin .. the first time I ever did it a couple areas of my skin turned red and dry bc I had burned myself. This is why it is essential to start with 50/50 after a while increase the amount of ACV and use less water to the point where your skin is use to the acid and you don't have to diliute it. This is NOT Recommended for every1 as we all know our skin varies and for some ppl a 50/50 solution may be too strong and some may never be able to use undiluted ACV bc there skin is just too sensitive.

hi

Notice my pictures ... ACV completely dried up and got rid of all my blackheads almost seemed to push them out of my skin. ACV is similar to an astringent but much less harsh and IMO works soo much better. ACV has ZERO Alcohol and it is the alcohol in Astringents that not only dry your skin incredibly but make your skin much more oily. ACV doesnt make your skin oil and gets rid of the access oil. I hate repeating myself .. and your probobly confused bc how can something get rid of oil and not dry you out. Well simple google "Acid Mantle" which is a layer of skin on your face. To put shortly when you reach puberty your skin develops this acid mantle and it si the ACID in ACV that helps maintain this acid mantle .. the acid mantle kills bacteria and keeps your skin from overworking the sebaceous glands. Unfortunately during puberty our sebaceous glands get out of control and our acid mantle isnt enough AND alkaline products only exacerbate this problem bc Alkaline products are actually drying out your skin and bacteria thrive in basic pH levels. Sooooo ACV bc it is an Acid helps to restore and maintain your acid mantle keeping everything in check.

alkaline products are most of your acne store bought crap like clearasil washes etc. Also alot of soaps and body washes are very alkaline. But no worries read the labels and look for pH Balanced products such as all Kiss My Face products are pH balanced and you can buy them at any GNC .. www.GNC.com. so thats really all you have to do and this is why ACV works.

Been using acv twice daily on my face for a while now and it works great. I used to drink it but I'd rather apply it topically!

I've been using ACV for a couple of weeks now and it has been so good! I don't breakout anymore - i definately link this with the less oil because it causes less oil.

Too soon to see if red marks are fading but i'm heading in the right direction.

Thanks so much Smashing Pumpkins!
