i broke out after using this. Now i have pimples and red marks.
1. Breaking out is expected. Your skin is being purged. ACV is bringing all the bad stuff up to the surface.
2. The only red marks ACV should leave are from the purging pimples, and the red marks should fade quickly.
Just add Lavendar .. I plan on buying Lavendar in the ACV because it will get the smell away and all the wonderful healing effects of lavendar. I get stressed out alot, and I read adding a few drops of lavendar to boiling water, hold your face over the steam will def. relax you. I have a mini-face sauna at home so i just use that 🙂
Did you try adding in lavender, yet? I would like to know your result, and where did you buy it? I don't want to stink up the bathroom everytime I use ACV :wall: :wall: .

I have yet to by Lavendar but Ik now you cna def. buy it at Bath and Body Works which would probobly be at your local mall, or GNC.
Which is better BP or Tea Tree Oil? I wanted to buy some at GNC but I wasn't sure if it is worth it. Do you think it is more effective then BP? How so? Does it improve your skin any other way?
i never knew it was goign to break me out. How long will i look like this if i use acv everyday? I have like a pimple with a big red spot surrounding it. How long does this purge last?
Also, i only cleanse and use acv only. Is that a problem or do i have to add more things from your experiences?

"this" means ACV? not the tea tree oil?
hey , i used diluted tea tree oil(TTO) in water all over my face at night and let it dry....and then i applied the ACV toner all over my face....my face looked great in the morning....i think its a gud combination....i'll make a sample like smashing said and use it for another 2 days and then will post the results....and if everything is gud then i plan on adding a few drops of TTO in my ACV toner...
Congratulations.
I used 1:1 ACV:water first, let it dried. Then, applied 100% TTO and let it dried before goinf to bed. My face always look great the next morning after I applied TTO yesterday night.

Is BP shrinking the acnes and leaving redmarks afterward?
TTO always shrinks my newly formed acnes and, for me, the redmarks left will fade in less than a month (not completely still).

HEY JC83, do u use TTO 100% directly on ur face coz on the bottle it says "dont use 100% on the face as its extremely strong" and can cause irritation...

see this for urself:
1. The topical application of 5% tea tree oil versus 5% benzoyl peroxide has been investigated in the treatment of acne vulgaris caused by the microorganism Propionibacterium acnes. Both compounds reduced the number of acne lesions, although the action of tea tree oil was slower, possibly due to the use of a suboptimal concentration. Tea tree oil produced fewer side effects than the benzoyl peroxide.
2. A comparative study of tea-tree oil versus benzoylperoxide in the treatment of acne.
Bassett IB, Pannowitz DL, Barnetson RS.
Department of Dermatology, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Camperdown, NSW.
Tea-tree oil (an essential oil of the Australian native tree Melaleuca alternifolia) has long been regarded as a useful topical antiseptic agent in Australia and has been shown to have a variety of antimicrobial activities; however, only anecdotal evidence exists for its efficacy in the treatment of various skin conditions. We have performed a single-blind, randomised clinical trial on 124 patients to evaluate the efficacy and skin tolerance of 5% tea-tree oil gel in the treatment of mild to moderate acne when compared with 5% benzoyl peroxide lotion. The results of this study showed that both 5% tea-tree oil and 5% benzoyl peroxide had a significant effect in ameliorating the patients' acne by reducing the number of inflamed and non-inflamed lesions (open and closed comedones), although the onset of action in the case of tea-tree oil was slower. Encouragingly, fewer side effects were experienced by patients treated with tea-tree oil.
3.One study in particular was conducted to compare the acne bacteria fighting properties of a tree oil in comparison with benzoyl peroxide cream. The tea tree oil was comparable in effectiveness to the benzoyl peroxide, but without the side effects of dry skin and redness*.
All it takes is a drop of Melaleuca Alternifolia tea tree oil 2-3 times a day on the acne inflammation, and it will start working to kill the bacteria.
So, for those of you who like what benzoyl peroxide does to acne but donat like the side effects, tea tree oil may be the right alternative for you*.

Really?
I am using the TTO from the BodyShop. It does not say that I can't use 100% directly on my face.
And yes, I am using 100% directly.
I am def. going to buy TTO when I get the chance because BP just makes redmarks last longer .. and I don't want to use a product that is going to interfere with my skin's healing rate. So if TTO doesn't affect my skins healing rate and gets rid of acne then it sounds perfect!
I bought TTO last night and the first thing I noticed was the potent smell! OMG! lol .. I put like 6 or 7 drops in a shot glass and filled it up half way with water.. even that was strong! I put it on my face and wow that woke me up lol, talk about squeeky clean and tingles. So far it already dried up some pimples, more then I can say for BP. BP has been breaking me out not really drying naything up but making my skin dehydrated. Hopfully TTO won't make me break out and won't dry out my skin. I am so happy I bought this.
What I think I am just going to do it .. apply TTO let dry and then apply ACV.
I think you are confusing Apple Cider Vinegar with Wine Vinegar, both are completely different things. I know some women drench themselves in wine vinegar and then go outside to tan so they don't just look brown but more red, so they have a rosy glow. I have yet to read anything about wine vinegar being any good for you, so just stick with ACV.

I'd like to stick with ACV but can't find it. Every vinegar i can find similar to Apple Cider Vinegar is named "Apple Wine Vinegar" or simply "Apple Vinegar", telling the truth I don't even know what "cider" word mean...
So maybe then thing called simply Apple Vinegar is the same as ACV, is it?
Apple Vinegar is the same as Apple Cider Vinegar .. I do not think Apple Wine Vinegar exists because I already looked it up and I either see just Wine Vinegar or Apple Vinegar.
Ok thenk you very much I shall buy Apple Vinegar then.
Haha - I ensure you that Apple Wine Vinegar exists here, I even got one bottle, and if it exists here than it exists, probably it may be called differend. (maybe it is simply wine vinegar made of apples)
Anyway thanks again.

It says you live in Poland .. are you just living there or are you Polish?

"wow that woke me up lol". I agree this.
"it already dried up some pimples". I also agree this.

In New Zealead, we call it CIDER VINEGAR. The only ingredient is the APPLE. So, I think this should be the ACV?

I ordered Apple Vinegar today, but few days ago I started with this Apple Wine Vinegar, do you think I can use it until I get the new one? ...may it be harmul or just do nothing so there's no sense using it?

Since ACV and AWV are different, my suggestion is to stop using AWV and get ACV.
