🙂 Yay. Glad you're changing your diet. I hope it works out! And don't get discouraged if you have a flare up even when you eat healthy because it could be other factors like stress or lack of sleep.

I'm on http://www.freeacnebook.com/15-23.htm and it has some interesting stuff.

" Every time you clean your face, small facial hairs are stirred. Sebum and growing hair use the same canals so stirring those facial hairs can keep inflammations active."

Interesting. I sometimes wish I could get the hairs on my face zapped off. Maybe my acne would never come back, ha.

It also talks about "dirty" protein.

"Dirty protein

All foods that have been prepared through the use of heat (cooking, frying, steaming etc.), radiation, microwaves or freezing, contain 'dirty' protein (including canned foods). The longer and more intensely the food has been prepared, the more 'dirty' the protein it contains."

I guess I just ate some dirty protein because the pinto beans I ate were cooked for an hour

i started applying the new lotion all over my face today. fingers crossed i don't break out from it.

the only thing i'm worried about is the spf in it. i never did well with those.

i read how eating yeast is bad for you so i am switching over to baking powder when making my oat "bread".

i got 3 pin sized zits on the top of my chin. nothing major but i bet it's from my new birth control.

i'm liking how my skin looks after i apply green tea. not sure if it lightens but it does leave a nice finish.

That's a scary thought! Have you ever thought about getting the hairs on your face threaded? I recently learned about threading and it seems pretty cool. I called around to my local salons and found one that performs threading and they only charge $15.00 for a full face thread. I also heard that the more you thread the less you will need it until eventually the hairs just don't come back! From what the lady from the salon told me it's less painful than waxing except on the upper lip where it's been known to be more painful. Just an idea for you...

Cheers!

i can not imagine getting my entire face threaded especially since they're fine baby hairs and not coarse like eyebrow hair

Yay! I'm back to my normal weight and I didn't have to eat any junk food >:P.

I gained the 10 pounds back I lost after changing my diet drastically.

I'm now 123 and will probably want to gain a couple more pounds.

I ate a lot of oatmeal. I eat each bread batch I make and it has 4 cups of oatmeal in it [150 calories 1/2 cup]. So uhh 1200 calories in that...

From a girl I was talking to online on another site I was given a bag of powdered goat's milk and sweet almond oil. I hope the almond oil doesn't break me out. I've only used jojoba oil.

I have been breaking out and I think it's because my face gets so oily over night. That's why I have a zit above my mouth because that's oddly where the most oil accumulates. I can feel another zit popping up along my jawline and I'm going to say it's from the new BC or the new lotion.

New break out just in time for Valentine's day, of course.

Oh and I think I'm allergic to oatmeal. After I eat it I get phlegm and it feels like I have a sore throat. Shame

OH MY GOSH.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.

UGH!

I have been eating spinach since the start of the month and I read how spinach contains high amount of iodine. I eat a whole plate full with olive oil on it every day.

I don't know if these break outs are from the birth control or spinach.

I really enjoyed spinach too. Crap.

Some sites say it will clear your skin and then others say to stay away from it.

I just finished a plate of spinach too. I feel like I should barf it up lol. But I won't.

My pimples do heal faster though. If I catch it right away and dab it with BP it goes away overnight.

Thank you :)

Oh I do have a question.

I'm assuming the Lykas soap just lightens your skin temporarily right? It's not like bleaching?

No, I don't think it has bleached my skin. Papayas are known for lightening the skin. It doesn't contain hydroquine or whatever that chemical is called that is connected to cancer. They swear by this in the Philippines for turning their brown skin lighter so it should work for red marks right? My Filipino step-mother had it and that's how I found out about it.

I have read it helps their acne too. I believe it is a staple for me since I haven't found any soaps that work as nicely even though it does leave my skin dry.

Yes I want to try it seeing how your red marks are practically non-existent. Do you think the soap helped or did they just fade on their own?

I don't know what you see, but your skin looks great. And I mean great for a person, not for a person who had acne.

You should really stop being so critical of it because you're the only one that sees the flaws!

Well I am switching from jojoba oil to sweet almond oil. Jojoba oil never sank into my skin especially on my cheeks.

I still have 3 zits from the PMS break out but thankfully none of the side of my face. I haven't gotten one of those in a longgg time.

The left side of my face looks back to "normal" and only has two purple marks left. It was really strange looking in the mirror and realizing that.

The right side has a couple more marks but the December break out marks by my mouth are fading nicely also.

I'm not sure why in the past week I have noticed it is fading more. I started eating spinach and more oatmeal. That's about it for diet change. But I stopped eating spinach since it's so high in iodine :(.

Maybe kale will be a good substitute for a salad.

Oh my .. jee.. You have such a bad face in the first pics :(, I don't have those things on my face, but I am plagued with blackheads, whiteheads and f... stuff like pimples, cysts and whatever, big, red, painfull, I used Skinoren and now I am...fine. They come 1-2 weeks before my period, but last year I travelled to UK for 3 months and came back in Sept. with terrible face, I barely managed to get rid of the horrible things on my face. I believe that a balanced diet does wonders. Did you try clay masks?

Hey, I have some black tiny hair in my pores :((. Everytime I look in the mirror they are there, right on my nose and right around my nose. What is that about?

Wow.. don't use spinach and honey as a mask. I read that they use spinach in a face mask so I thought I'd try it.

NOPE. After I put it on it was a little itchy and I washed it off. I looked in the mirror and everywhere I put the mask was red and itchy.

I ate spinach but didn't get this. Ha, learned my lesson. But my face was smooth lol.

I bought Woman's Moon Cycle Yogi Tea. My hormones are going to be messed up for awhile because of the new birth control and maybe this will help balance it.

They didn't have Berry Detox Yogi Tea which tastes delicious.

I'm thinking about buying raw cacao beans but I've read how it could be bad for you in the end because it's supposedly poisonous and can get addicted... idk.
