One of the pimples below my lip isnt healing nicely at all. Its super red and large. There is no visible puss so I cant pop it. I also have a few zits that are coming in pairs: the two directly below my lip, two along my jawline, one on top of the other, and two on my chin, one on top of the other. They are extremely red :(

I woke up this morning with another beautiful pustule to greet me on the chin. Oh and one of the zits under my lip finally came to a head, I just popped it, it bled and now its throbbing :(

One of the zits on my chin is very painful, very red, and it bulges out and looks hideous! I put a hot tea bag on it wrapped around in a paper towel of course. Ill have to wait in the morning to see if it helped at all

That zit looks somewhat better today! It popped and now its just got dried up blood.

I put on my body shop make up today under my smash box photofinish and it went on a lot smoother :)

Hi Molly :wavey: long time no post on your log.Hope you're feeling better.

Has your rash gone away now? What do you think it was, lactose or the products?

You put your makeup under your primer?Does the primer then set it or something?

Hehe so many questions. Oh and I did leave a comment for you but I think they have to be approved first or something.

Thank you! Ive been feeling somewhat better.

My cheeks are still red but not as red as before. I think I am lactose intolerant. In fact, Im about 99% sure. The other night I ate pizza and in the morning I had to use the bathroom four times all within half an hour and their were chunks of tomatos from the pizza in it  Sorry for all the information lol

Yes I put Azelex cream on first, wait about twenty minutes and put on the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream and then I put the primer on and last but not least, I put on the make up

YAY that hot tea bag compress worked in addition to my azelex cream! That painful pimple that was bulging out formed a scab which just fell off

I just went to the pharmacy and picked up my new bottle of spironolactone and another tube of azelex cream. I think I was using too much of the cream before. Hopefully, Ive figured out that I can use less and it will be more effective

Yeah I find it really hard to follow the instructions when they say to apply creams thinly, I always think if I put more on it might work better or I'll get a better dose of the 'special ingredient' .

Damn it! I cannot stop picking! So one of the zits I put the hot tea bag compress on, started getting lighter and then I picked at it and made it bright red all over again! I popped another one a bunch of times. Blood came out but it was mixed with that orange fluid so I didnt know if I was supposed to stop or not. Now I have a few small pimples surrounding that pimple. Im so fed up with acne! I hate it :wall:

I know you are a fan of popping pimples, but I really don't think its a good idea. It may be why you got all the new pimples around the one you popped. Popping usually spreads the bacteria to the surrounding skin - not something that you want to be doing. Its really only ok to pop a pimple when it has a fully developed whitehead on it. Even with those, you only want to gentle prick the top with a sterilized needle or use the process describe on the messageboard using tissues around your fingers to gently squeeze the mature whitehead. Only drain the pus at the surface - you don't want to squeeze it so much that it bleeds. If you see blood, that's not good.

But if you are squeezing until they bleed, then you are potentially spreading the bacteria and may drive the lesion further under the skin.

Hi Molly,

I just wanted to know what kind of Photo Finish you are using...

they have so many different versions, but I recently picked up

this one:

http://www.smashbox.com/index.cfm/fuseacti...a-24ed09f25ca0/

Which one do you use and have you tried any of the other versions?

Hope all is well with you!

One of the zits I was picking at formed a scab and it just fell off. I didnt pick the scab off. I hope it doesnt scar as horribly as some of my other redmarks

I also have a new pimple inside my ear which is quite painful. Ive never had a pimple there before
