I decided to start from stratch and make a brand new Aqua Glycolic Cleanser Personal Regimen Log.Day 1: I woke up this morning with one large pustule on my chin. I decided to pop it and now there is of course dry blood. Hopefully, the glycolic cleanser will make it disappear in a few days. Last time I used Aqua Glycolic Cleanser I didnt realize it is supposed to be applied to dry skin. I put it on dry skin and then I added water and then I rinsed my face off. I put a thin later of Fruit of the Aloe Vera Gel on my face let it dry for about five minutes and then I put on CeraVe moisturizer.
Im thinking of buying Tea Tree Oil later today.
Hey Molly,
I've been reading up on azelex because i'm thinking of trying it and noticed that you had tried it at some point...did you have any success with it? Was it irritating at all or did it make you oily? My skin is really sensitive and pretty dry at the moment so i think azelex is probably a better bet than finacea but i dont want to make my skin oily either! Thanks!

Yes its okay, but its kind of a waste of money. There isnt enough product in the tube. Its 48 grams and it only lasted me four weeks. It cost $20 which isnt worth one month of use. I honestly would recommend you try the cleanser Im using.
UGH! I dropped my mineral make up in the sink and it all go pored out
I put the mineral make up on my nose before dropping it and it just didnt look right on my nose. I could see my blackheads showing through. I applied Prescriptives Better Off to my face and then I rubbed it off with a paper towel. Now my face kinda hurts I hope I dont have a major breakout again. I then applied prescriptives flawless skin to my face and the powder on top. This looks okay today. I hope it lasts most of the night. I dont expect it to last all night though because I sweat at work.

thanks for the tip! unfortunately my skin absolutely hates salicylic acid, it gives me dermatitis and worse acne 🙁 i'm thinking of trying clenia for a new cleanser though, sulfur seems to be good for my skin...i'm glad it's working for you though!

I have incredibly sensitive skin and the SA in this cleanser doesnt bother me at all.
My new MAC make up lasted on my face ALL day today 🙂lol I was just checking in to see if you posted anything about the new makeup! You feel the foundation and powder is a better color and lasts longer than your other makeups you've tried so far? YAY if yes!!!
Yes that is true! The EM looked horrible on me, the Prescriptives looked so so and was difficult to put on without rubbing off, and Bobbi Brown broke me out the same day I used it.
I think I have to say... excellent choice of MAC then! Continue wearing it and seeing how you like it. Sometimes in the more humid summer weather, makeup becomes a real challenge so it will be nice to hear your thoughts!
It hasnt been humid here at all. Its been very cold and windy though.
I sent you an e-mail Melanie my friend but I dont know if you received it.
Molly,Does the MaC makeup look natural or can you tell that you are wearing makeup? Did you wear to work and it stayed on all day? That is amazing!
\
One can most definitely tell I am wearing the make up but it looks natural and it blends in nicely with my skin. http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php...i&img=29476
Yes, it is fabulous, I just didn't want to look like a pancake face! I tend to like to look more natural than overdone, it sometimes makes my flaws stand out more! I may go check MAC out, did you get a makeup session with them or just told them what you needed?
No they did the whole thing.
I think you should be able to clear your chest skin up pretty quickly. You could try using one of those bath scrubbies on a stick or that you simply hold in your hand, along with your fav bath gel or whatever you use, and see if that helps clear it up. Then if it doesn't, you can always try using a BP or SA cleanser, along with that scrubby, to see if that works. Those are easy ways to clear up skin without needing to put that BP on your chest and worrying about bleaching clothes. I always use a nylon scrubby on a stick and my skin is super smooth. I use any of my fav bath gels or Dove soap but I think the scrubby keeps my skin well exfoliated so no problems crop up. Good luck!
