Bath scrubbing on a stick? Can you post a picture? Ive never heard of those
haha I should have said bath scrubby with a long handle!
Here is a good picture from eBay to better show you. The ones I get are usually from Target or Walmart or Kmart or Linens N Things or Bed, Bath & Beyond, etc. They are in the bath section by the little nylon mesh poufs that have no handles. Mine have plastic handles, not wood, and have soft nylon scrubby meshes attached as in the picture. I've gotten them from bath shops too. When I buy them, I feel the mesh to make sure it's soft and pliable. I don't like bath brushes bc they tend to be too harsh for me.
Then, it comes with a little nylon rope at the end of the handle, so you can hang it up in the shower. I simply wet the scrubby, apply some fav soap or bath gel, then massage it around my back in circular motions. It comes in so handy bc you can reach your back, feet easily, knees, elbows, etc. Of course if you can't find them with a handle, you could use the little mesh poufs with no handle, but you prob won't be able to reach around your back as well.
This is the thing I mentioned on the board somewhere that my daughter's roomie used, along with Clean & Clear Continuous Control 10% BP cleanser, to clear up her back. So if your fav cleanser/gel/soap doesn't clear you along with it, you could always buy the BP or SA cleanser to use with it. I think it's gentle enough but still does a nice job of keeping my skin well exfoliated, thus eliminating breakouts completely, just nice and smooth skin. Using BP is so hard bc it bleaches clothes - boooo!

Oh those are neat! Ive never seen the ones with the handles. I use the one on a string everyday. I will admitt though I dont even wash my back with a cleanser. My back is clear. I just let the water go all over my back when I wash my hair. The only part I use soap is on my arms, under my arms, on my legs, my private parts, my rectum the back of my butt and on my legs and feet. Esscentually, I will say I use soap everywhere except on my back

Well if your back is clear by using nothing... keep using nothing lol. For your chest though, try using the scrubby that you have already (bc you don't need to reach your back) with a little BP cleanser like the Clean & Clear Continuous Control 10% or another one with 10% BP in it. You simply massage it in, let it sit while you do your hair, then rinse it all off. That might help alot.
If, however, you haven't already been using your scrubby on your chest, then give that a try with whatever soap/gel/etc you use now. Sometimes just the exfoliation with the scrubby is enough to clear up your skin.
Obviously you could also try something other than BP as a topical. Perhaps an SA topical or alpha hydroxy topical, etc. so you don't have to worry about bleaching. You can also apply a thin layer of your mask, or even purchase a sulfur soap. Lots of different ways you can approach this to clear you all up!
Hmmm... I mentioned the Clean & Clear one bc I know people have had some good results bc you wash away the BP but if you don't wanna buy one from the drugstore, you could use some of any cleanser you love along with your scrubby and simply apply your topicals after. Try the same routine you use on your face for a few days and see if you make any progress on your chest! It worked so well on your face, your chest might just need a little kick in the butt to get it back to clear! Also, derms can prescribe BP cleansers that are a larger size than drug store ones fyi. I think one brand is ZoDerm, but just ask your derm if you'd like.
P.S... Did you start breaking out AFTER you began using the new Olay product or before? Just a little check to see if that caused your recent breakouts.

Ive been exfoliating on my chest for a long time now. I had a few blackheads on my chest before and now I have very small whiteheads.
URGH! My face is burning again! I applied my neobenz micro, waited awhile and then I applied a Clinique SA to my nose and my nose is on fire right now
Does the Clinique SA burn your skin alone, not using the NeoBenz along with it?
Next, I've read that it's a good idea to apply the SA treatment first, wait approx 30 minutes so it does its thing, then apply your BP. You might try it that way and see the results.
Good luck!

No it doesnt. The reason Im using this Clinique product is to make it easier for my make up to go on my tzone without rubbing off. Applying it before the bp would make it less effective I think.
oooohhh.... I thought you were using it for blackheads. You're correct though... if you are using it to make your makeup go on more smoothly, you should use it second. Otherwise lol, it will be under that NeoBenz! So basically, you're using it as sort of a primer! Have you noticed it helps your makeup adhere better and stay on longer in those areas?
*sigh* Im sad because I am almost out of my neobenz micro which really works and Ive been using it for about six weeks. I started on May 1st and have been using it since. My redmarks have faded dramatically and there is such a difference in how my skin was during the winter.
On a positive note, for now I get to keep my insurance until I am twenty five. Thats what my dad was told when he went to sign his retirement papers. Hes retiring on the 28th.
YAY for jeans that fit!!! haha cute!
YAY X2 for insurance until you're 25!!!
BOOOO for running out of NeoBenz! I hope your insurance will allow you to pay the difference between what they would allow you to purchase of BP and the price of Neo... OR... hopefully they will have more free samples or another free tube! If it works this well for you, perhaps the doctor or someone can pursuade the insurance to cover it since nothing else worked for you! Keep our fingers crossed!
LOL Thanks! I actually do have a topic if you have time to read it under the cosmetics and style section about having trouble finding pants that fit. I am 5'5, I weigh approximately 160 pounds, I have a 31 inch waist, I wear a size 10 or 12 depending on the brand, and I have to have my pants taylored a lot because I am not short nor tall. Pretty much all jeans are sold in either a petite or a tall and there arent many regulars
I will call the dermatologists office tomorrow and ask if they were able to persuade the insurance company to pay for it. I highly doubt they did. I am wondering if I could get a prescription SA product. I like neobenz micro but if I cannot get it but I can get a fabulous sa product that the insurance company will cover, I will be a happy camper
My face has been pretty awful, but I'm being prescribed Accutane on Wednesday so I'm happy. I'll still have to wait about a month before they'll give it to me, but that should take care of the acne & oil. The Rosacea isn't as bad as it used to be, so I'm thankful for that.

Good luck with the accutane and stay sane
