My make up looked horrible again yesterday! I went to go visit someone and I had to wash my make up off with water and paper towels because thats all that was in the bathroom. After I visited my friend, I went home and applied my prescriptives better off and wiped it off with a paper towel. I then washed it with warm water and dried my face. I of course washed my face with my cleanser and applied bp after later in the day.
I hope your evening went well. I understand about worrying what others are thinking in a group setting. I feel more comfortable indoors dealing with people than being in direct sunlight. It seems like everyone else has this great skin and I have a bunch of redmarks and stuff I am trying to hide.I dont feel completely comfortable either way. Awww, Im sorry. Im looking here at your signature and maybe you might want to try a cleanser that isnt drugstore. I love my new cleanser and its something my dermatologist gave me and then when I ran out, I ordered it again on the internet. It also looks like you are using too many strong topicals all at once.

I have 2 small spots, but most just healing. It takes forever to get the red marks to go away for me it seems. I am not only dealing with acne but getting wrinkles! Ugh!

How long have you been on your current regimen? It takes forever for my redmarks to go away too so you are not alone. It took me two years for these to go away! You are getting wrinkles! You must be an old lady :badgrin: lol just kidding

Like Nucelle, Clean and Clear, Green Cream, etc. Lion Queens thread is the first one I read all the way through - it took hours, but then I was hooked, knowing I can take control of my acne and aging! I was so glad to find this place as I was searching on my own for a while to no avail.
Anyway, I am old - 37 and don't want to start looking it! So trying to find stuff that doesn't make you break out and you can put on to stop wrinkles is pretty damn hard! Enough of my blah, blah, blah, have a good day!

Im glad we have been of help to you so you could finally stop using proactiv and murad products, products that are advertised on tv just so they make money even though it doesnt work!
Granted you are old to still have acne, that doesnt make you old my friend! To me old is 50 because it mean half (or more depending on how long you live).
I want to understand what goes through peoples minds. I love you Kim, but Im having a difficult time understanding why you read my topic but didnt reply. That is a petpeeve of mine. People do that under my threads all the time. I dont get it.
I have a theory about reading logs and not replying/posting... I truly believe no one is on this board to be malicious or cause hurt bc they have already felt that enough in their lives... but I do believe people don't read every single post so they miss things... I know I miss things all the time bc there is simply so much reading to do, plus personal online stuff, plus business online stuff, that each person is literally saturated with reading material, sometimes so much so, they just simply don't see every single post, or have time TO post something, but merely scan them all.
For example, I'll read emails, PM's, posts, logs, reviews, news, work, TONS of things as I'm just checking through the wad of reading material, then of course I miss some postings or questions, etc.
Also, I know I've said it before, but sometimes people aren't big talkers (or posters I should say lol) or have nothing to add to the log or thread or they might not have time at that moment to post something. Some people are shy about posting. I don't do a lot of posting, maybe 3 per day if that, but it's mainly bc someone else has covered it already, or I don't know the answer, or I have nothing to say of any importance I guess.
So bottom line, I've learned something in life that is pretty important to learn I think that even when I forget, my husband reminds me... just because people don't do something the way you would do it, doesn't mean they are doing it out of some bad intent... it simply means they don't do things the way you do them. That goes not only for posting, but lots of other things too. It can make you feel bad or sad bc when we think someone should do something our way, or respond to something we feel is important, yet they don't, then we might look at it and get hurt or insulted. But in reality, everyone really can't be the same! I'm not saying you get hurt or insulted or anything like that, but I'm just saying IF you do, it's a thing I try to remember all the time bc we really aren't all the same way in responding to things we've read, or anything else for that matter.

There are some logs that I just like to check on and see how people are doing. Some days I am just not in the mood to write much on the boards - especially at the end of the day when I am tired. Like this past week - one day I flew to San Diego in the morning, spent several hours down there for a meeting and flew back that night; next day I had to drive down to Stockton for another meeting and drive back (in over 100 degree weather). I wasn't really in the mood to do much writing on the boards last nights. So, I just perused some threads on the board just to see what's going on, and then logged off.
Plus, I don't know if I have anything to add until I read the latest updates anyway....
WOW, that does sound tiring! That mustve been expensive too to ride a plane down to San Diego! I understand better why you didnt want to write on the boards last night and I have total empathy for being tired. Thank you for explaining.

I dont know. I find my topics to be important questions but I never get an answer. Honestly, when I make threads I rarely get answers from people. Some people give me answers and put a lot of thought into it but not as many as I would expect. I feel like my threads hang though. If you press acne battle and go to my topics, you will see I am nine out of ten times the last person to comment. I feel like people dont care. It just feels passive aggressive to me if you go to a thread, you read it, then people dont even write one sentence but then go to other threads and write a lot. I mean I ask simple questions. Its not rocket science to simply answer a question. Most of my topics are only a paragraph long. I am just flabbergasted that that happens

Hope you had a good night! I understand what justamom is saying, it is hard to keep up with all of it - life happens, and Kim being a mod gets tons of pm's and emails to follow up on I am sure. Sometimes I am reading posts and shorly after an email notifications that someone else posted and I missed it til the next day! It kind of crossed in the mail! I know that has happened to me! I only posted a topic once with little response so I like reading others peopls posts as I do learn alot from what everyone else is doing! Also, if questions are asked out there, many people read the posts, but if they don't have the answer, they just move on. I know what you are saying, it happens to alot of members, but on the positive, you sure get a lot of support from your log, and many folks make it a point to read it everyday!

Yes and its a long story what happened to me. Lets just put it this way. It made me psychotic and gave me suicidal ideaitons. I NEVER want to go through that again
Omg this zit on my neck really hurts! I couldnt get it to pop and I probably made it bigger. I had to put my clay masque on it and now it isnt bothering me as much. I also have a zit I picked at the other day. It will probably leave an ugly redmark. This really bright red scab formed and I couldnt stand the looks of it. I peeled it off with my tweezerman! It wont leave a scar beause I did it very carefully. The most it will leave is a redmark and it will probably fade quickly with the use of this mask.
Even though you know I loved David Cook from the beginning, this year, for some reason, I felt like Simon... I really didn't care who actually won simply because I know they BOTH will be superstars! Simon is in Cook's corner and Randy is in Archie's... they will both be taken care of. I'm confident in that so don't worry that Archuleta won't become a pro singer... he already is famous when people of all ages know his name! Heck... my husband doesn't follow AI but even he came home with bits of news he heard on our local talk radio and even SPORTS shows haha! Archuleta has a beautiful voice, but I think he still needs to clear up that nasally sound he makes at times when he's taking in a breath, bc that detracts from his song. I was just surprised at the numbers too. I can't figure out what happened either bc I figured Archuleta's little fans would be out in roaring numbers as he has a lot of those little girls screaming his name all the time lol.
But I gotta tell you, above the vocals and songs and the fact they both can sing, I absolutely loved the way Cook always seemed to 'take care of' or 'watch over' Archuleta! You could see every time they would go to the stands together to sit down, Cook would put his arm around Archuleta like a big brother would do. Plus the fact Archuleta looked up to Cook too. That made me happy... the fact Cook took Archuleta around with him in the end, stayed right by him, etc. That shows you they are both confident in their ability and have no hard feelings. I also think Cook was very surprised he won!
OK back to skin... has the rooibos been helping the new ones that popped up?

Those numbers seemed distorted to me though. I mean some people vote a lot of times. I voted for Archuleta fifty times and I didnt vote for cook at all lol It would be more accurate it people could only vote ONCE
I dont have very many pimples right now that require the roobios tea. I still drink it once to twice a day but I havent been putting them on my pimples. I would put it on the one on my hairline but I dont want tea stuck in my hair. That pimple really hurts though!

I had an easier time with my make up too! I have been using Bare Escentuals again starting the past two days! It only took me fifteen minutes to appy instead of half an hour to forty five minutes like with the EM

He also heard that Cook's brother has cancer, but wasn't sure which brother it is or if it's the one we have been seeing on tv, Andrew. It would make sense that all his brothers would be there supporting him, if they could be there, so I don't know if he has another brother who might be recovering at home or in the hospital, etc. Then during a sports show they covered the David vs. David boxing round lol. The problem is, the two Davids are both so easy to like that no one says anything bad about them.

Regardless of what the results show, I think David Archuleta has a lot of fans. He might even have more fans. I dont think they know that people vote fifty plus times like I did. I wish there was a way to contact the show to let them now.

Fifteen minutes isnt that long to apply. There are many differences between BE and EM. BE is easier to put on, it lasts on my face longer and it doesnt rub off my face. My EM was all the wrong color and it would rub off my face immediately after putting it on

I hate insurance. Switching insurances. Everything. It's so complicated, and they are NOT on your side. We really need to socialize health care. When I get kicked off my dad's insurance, I'll only be on my school's insurance. One CHEAP medication I'm on will go from $5 for 21 days to $18 for 28 days of pills. I don't want to think about more for expensive medications. I hope the switch does actually work for you, so you can get NeoBenz, though.
Try BE Addie. Try the foundation in glamour shade, the concealer bisque, and mineral veil. Its great! It spreads evenly and looks very natural

He knows I do not make much money so he said, "Do you think you can afford $50 each session?" I said, "How about $60?" "Can you afford that?" "If I can afford expensive shoes every month, I can certainly afford to pay you every month. How about $60?" We then came to that agreement

I applied the bare minerals today. It is a little bit itchy but then again my skin always itches. I sneezed a lot today because I am allergic to the pollen in the air, I rubbed my nose a lot today, and my make up still stayed completely put! 
I also have no new breakouts today
