Since you have already used the NeoBenz and love it, don't worry about the Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. You would have already had problems with it because you have been using it for a while now! Besides, if that ingredient is far down in the list of ingredients, there would probably be too little of it in there to matter much anyway!

AMEN! In reading your log daily, NeoBenz is the first thing that has worked and you have been happy with!

Actually, SkinCeuticals Clarifying Wash and the mask were the first things I was happy with 😉

Where did you find the best price for the SkinCeuticals Clarifying Wash and mask? You really love that stuff and maybe people around here would love it as much as you! Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!

I am so happy with how my face is looking. I do not have as many zits as before. The old ones are really fading too. I just wish these ugly blackheads and clogged pores would go away though

I was thinking about what you said about your blackheads and clogged pores. In reality, that SkinCeuticals cleanser should be pretty good with removing the blackheads and clogged pores bc it contains MA and SA. Re-check the directions on the tube/bottle bc you might be able to massage it around your face a little longer to get better results.

Read Dwhaa's signature and look at how she leaves the CC blackhead scrub on for 1 minute, then exfoliates with it, rinses, then switches to the bp cleanser, leaves it on for 1 - 3 minutes to let the bp sink in, then rinses.

Although I also use Dr. Bronners TTO cleanser and others, I do basically the same thing with my SA cleanser/scrub. I apply it all over, then gently massage it in for about 2 minutes, then rinse, then apply my topicals. I have found the SA and the MA I use really keep my pores very clear. PLUS, I know you hate it, but I think the jojoba oil also loosens any gunk and helps it to simply come out when I'm massaging the SA cleanser/scrub.

Keeping in mind you have sensitive skin, you might simply increase the amount of time you gently massage the cleanser into your skin a little at a time, especially in the blackhead/clogged pore area, then rinse. This might allow the SA and MA to work a little better in lifting out the gunk in the pores. I think the MA and SA do a good job at clearing out pores, which makes it that much easier for the bp to penetrate a little deeper. That's why some people even apply SA about thirty minutes before applying bp, if their skin can tolerate it.

Anyway, I was just thinking this might actually help you get a little more out of your fabulous SkinCeuticals cleanser bc SA and MA are great for pore gunk/blackheads. It might just be a matter of a little extra massage time on your skin, building up slowly of course, before your pores de-gunktify  . Just increase the massage time slowly and don't overdo! :naughty:

Hey!

Oh ya I know you leave on your bp overnight. That's bc you use a topical bp product. Dwhaa uses a topical bp product too, the 2.5% proactiv repairing lotion, which she would leave on as well. The one I was referring to above is in her routine of, "In the shower: CC - Blackhead scrub - sit on skin 1 min, Exfoliate, CC - 10% bp cleanser - sit on skin 1-3 mins."

For that 10% bp cleanser she gives it 1-3 minutes to let the bp in that cleanser sink in a little bit, then rinses it all off because it's a cleanser.

I remember reading several places that said to be sure you allow adequate time for the cleanser to actually clean the skin. I thought that was interesting and have been doing that ever since. Basically use the water the same temperature, the same amount of cleanser, but take some time to gently massage the cleanser around your entire face, paying particular attention to the areas you have the most concern with blackheads and gunky pores, thoroughly rinse, and pat dry. I'm hoping since your cleanser has the MA and SA right in it, the little extra massage time will lift out the impurities! :cool2: <-- That adorable little guy is taking off his shades so he can check out your beautifully-clear pores! lol

Keep us posted on the results and I hope it works!!!

Oops I missed that key word CLEANSER with bp in it.

Ive always massaged my face for a long time with my cleanser before I wash it off. My face is looking so much better. I am not having massive breakouts 😀 I will post pics in my album. I mainly have a lot of old redmarks and I still have clogged pores on my nose. Other than that my face looks worlds better. I also have a cute new hair cut

Thank you my friends! Im glad you noticed my improvement and are happy for me :D

Yes I gotta have layered hair. My hair is a cross between fine and thick. If I dont have layered hair, it just does nothing for my face and looks totally boring

Hi Molly! I was wondering how long it took Septra to work for you, and also how much it has cleared your complexion? I was just prescribed Bactrim, and if I'm not mistaken, they're both the same drug under different brand names, right? I hope things are going well.

It started working for me in just a matter of a few days. If you go to my album, you can see what a remarkable change it has made in my skin. Yes, Bactrim is another name for Septra. Thank you! I hope Septra works well for you too

How's the papule doing for you?!? That is a nasty spot for it to take up residence! I hope the products, especially the bp and mask, will make it go away quickly! You've been having such good luck with them.

Oh... I read somewhere online that your cleanser also has glycolic acid in it in addition to the ma and sa. Three good things! If you check out the ingredient list on the container, let me know if that's correct. If it is, that would mean you have ma, ga, and sa... so... magasa!:boogie:

It hurts and its not getting any smaller. That would be because I tried to pop it though. It turned into two very small whiteheads. I put roobios tea on it again for the second time yesterday. I also am sitting here as I write with the clay mask on it. Hopefully, the bastard will dry up and go away soon lol

I knew it contains SA and MA but I wasnt aware it contained AHA. I read the bottle again but I didnt see anything about it containing AHA. I know the clay mask contains AHA though.

Yesterday my dad was annoying me! I was talking about how my blackheads and clogged pores are horrible and really noticeable. He kept talking about steaming my faec and how it will work. He insisted it will work. I think he imagining things because that doesnt work. It just makes it worse. He has clogged pores and blackheads and it hasnt many any difference in his skin but he thinks it has.

I'm so glad that black heads and clogged pores are one of your biggest worries now. ;) I can't wait till I get to that point!

I've never tried steaming, and those blackhead clearing strips would only make things worse over time (I've heard they can make pores bigger through constant use).

lol no I worry that I will have a massive breakout when I least expect it.

Blackhead clearing strips, what are those? You mean those biore strips? Those suck! They dont do anything...

My friend Sarah and I went shopping at the mall today and there was this woman who worked in a kiosk and she kept on nagging us to buy stuff. First she tried to convince Sarah to buy this nail buffing kit. Then she tried to convince me to buy this stuff that apparently helps blackheads and clogged pores. I didnt buy her shinanigans. She just wanted money.

Hey! This is what I found on some websites regarding your cleanser: "Skinceuticals Clarifying Cleanser NEW FROM SKINCEUTICALS! Specifically formulated for acne-prone skin, SkinCeuticals Clarifying Cleanser combines salicylic acid, an FDA approved acne treatment, with the exfoliating powers of glycolic and mandelic acids to unclog pores and help improve the appearance of problematic skin. Along with powerful AHA and BHA ingredients, this cleanser also includes smoothly rounded microbeads to gently slough off dead skin cells and cellular debris."

Also, how did the roobios tea and mask work for that papule?
