Well, my parents are about to pick me up and we gonna eat the yummy Italiano food. I put on some make up but I did it a little bit differently today. I used my prescriptives foundation with my prescriptives brush, I then used the same brush to apply EM multi tasking foundation, I applied my MAC lipstick with my MAC colored lipgloss over it and here I am 🙂That combination of your Prescriptives and Everyday Minerals will probably give you a very long-lasting coverage. Since you like to save your expensive Prescriptives for special occasions, you might have discovered a wonderful way. Let us know how it holds up for you!
Also, you have officially made every single person reading your log hungry - I hope you know that! :dance: And I agree with you, the tarts were a special treat for your co-workers, especially when they get lumpia all the time. What actually does lumpia taste like?
I thank you for the compliments but you're such a gregarious, inquisitive and loyal person that once you realize that about yourself and build your confidence, you will see you have more friends than you know. You have a lot of very admirable qualities and you work very hard at everything you do... uh... well... skip that about not eating bad food like chocolate haha... but you do work hard at everything else!! Besides, chocolate and bad food is oh-so-yummy sometimes! :hifive:

Well I went to a restaurant with my parents and when I got back I used my prescriptives make up remover because I took a nap in their guest bed.
My intention wasnt to make everyone hungry. I dont know how to describe the taste of lumpia really. Its fried and has either vegetables and meat in it. I love the vegetable ones. I shouldnt be eating fried foods though.
Youre quite welcome! I do think I could have more friends. I just dont. I rarely ever go out except to work, to go shopping, to the bank, etc

I was checking your thread to see how your birthday was going and see that you're not having a good day!? I'm sorry to hear that! Ya know what's odd sometimes... the very day you want everything to be perfect, and make all the plans to make it a great day, sometimes it's that very day that absolutely sucks! I don't know why, but sometimes the most fantastic days are the ones when you wake up refreshed, everything goes right, and you do something spontaneous!
So, if this day was not all you wished for, you are entitled to take another day and make it special to replace the parts of this day you don't like! I think everyone here would agree with me that birthdays should be special and if it wasn't a good day ON your birthday, then you get to take another one in its place! 😀

I'm so sorry you had some trouble on your birthday. I was kind of down on mine as well since I couldn't leave the house, but luckily you have many great friends here on the forums! I agree with JustaMomToo - if you didn't have the best birthday possible, then have another!!

I wouldnt say it has been that warm here. It has been a couple of days but not much. I live near San Francisco which doesnt get hot very often. In fact, Im freezing my arsh off right now as I write.
I had green ravioli with ricota (however you spell it lol) cheese and a red sauce. My dad had gnocchi with a cream sauce which he let me have a taste of and my mom had ravioli filled with veal and a red sauce. My dads gnocchi was delicious but my moms veal ravioli were disgusting! I hated it
haha I think I would agree with you that I would like the gnocchi but not the ravioli with veal. Once I saw a documentary about veal and I just don't eat it anymore. I suppose the standards for veal raising have gotten better bc of animal rights groups, but it's really depressing so I get grossed out every time it's on the menu. So, right there I would pick cheese ravioli over veal, but that's just me. I do love Italian food though with a nice salad! They also have some exceptionally delish desserts, but I know you had your birthday cake - yummy!

I am so upset! Ive been on every drug on the market that exists to treat acne. The insurance company declined me the neobenz micro which works really well. To top things off, I might not have the same insurance (which means all new drs) and if I want it I will have to pay 600 some odd dollars for it!
UGHHHH.... I absolutely HATE dealing with insurance companies! I bet they will only allow you to have a different brand of BP like mine did. If that's the case, you can find out how much the one they allow you to purchase costs, then how much the NeoBenz is, then you might be able to get them to approve the NeoBenz if you pay the difference between the two. I was able to do that and I believe that's a pretty common practice. You could call your derm and ask if they would be able to ask your insurance company if that's acceptable with them, or you could call them yourself at the customer care number. Sometimes if the doctor says that is the ONLY one that has worked for you and that you have such sensitive skin that it can't be replaced with another one, that hasn't worked, they will honor it. I told you my doctor had to write that letter explaining that and it worked for a couple of things. The others, I was able to pay the difference.

Owww, my skin is burning! I just used this obagi bp my derm also gave mt to try it; my skin stung immediately and it is still stining. My eyes also became extremely watery even though I didnt even apply it on the upper part of my face. I applied it to my cheeks, and my chin. Its very red now! I removed it with cold water and applied some aloe vera gel. Hopefully, the stinging will go down soon

I have a piece of great news! My dermatologists medical assistant spoke with a pharmaceutical rep and she gave her a free tube of NeoBenz Micro for ME!

Yes, the medical assistant is very understanding. I said, I hate insurance in this country and she goes, "Meee tooo!" I asked her what the conversation with BlueSheild was like and she goes, "Well, I faxed them a list of all the medications youve been on and they wouldnt listen. They said, "Well if Accutane didnt work for her, what makes you think the bp will work for her? You have to fail three bp products before we can give her the neobenz micro" WTF thats stupid! I have sensitive skin and Accutane is one of if not the most strongest medications used to treat acne! Its also one of the most affective but I cannot use it. She is gonna try sending them an appeal letter.
It was both make ups. I tried to put the EM foundation on and then the concealer. I did that three times and it didnt look right. My blackheads on my nose were showing through and the make up just wasnt spreading well anywhere on my face. I then tried the prescriptives and put the EM concealer on top. It made my face look streaky. It was aweful!
Yes, my face did calm down after the Obagi trouble. It took about twenty minutes though. It was horrible!
Ive been using Dans bp until I can get the neobenz micro which is less irritating for my sensitive skin. I also put my SkinCeuticals clay mask on my nose and a section of my chin. I am gonna leave it on over night.

Well the reason you have to 'fail' 3 BP products before they will allow the NeoBenz to be covered by your plan is probably due to the cost. They want you to obviously use the cheapest first, and so on, according to what THEY have in THEIR books on BP!
Actually though, that might not be hard to do. If you think about it, you said you didn't like BP bc the ones you used were too irritating. Perhaps in your file you DO have others you have already tried in the past and couldn't use. If Obagi is one, if you don't have others on record, you might just have to try out two more to get the NeoBenz. BUT, in the meantime, you still would have the free tube of NeoBenz in case your skin doesn't like the two other BP brands to try out. Then you are free and clear for any NeoBenz future orders!

I dont think Ive tried any prescription bp products in the past. I have however tried persa gel 10% which is over the counter. It didnt work. Ive tried proactiv and that didnt work LOL
So today my dad drove me to my dermatologists office. I get there and they put this sign on the door that says training in session, do not distrub. I had to stand outside the door for forty minutes! It was giving me a headache too because I could hear them talking but I couldnt see where they were. Anyway, I got the neobenz micro
Im kind of worried though that this NeoBenz Micro contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate!
Since you have already used the NeoBenz and love it, don't worry about the Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. You would have already had problems with it because you have been using it for a while now! Besides, if that ingredient is far down in the list of ingredients, there would probably be too little of it in there to matter much anyway!
