Yeah I would just go to a salon and get something done with semi-permanent. I'm not sure but doing something as close as possible to your natural color might be the best solution. If your natural color is darker than your current one, I don't see why this wouldn't work. Otherwise, what Lyssa said
Last but not least! What do you guys think of this color? I think the permanent color I ordered will be some variation on this... loved it when I had it.
love the red .. it's a really nice color.
lol -- in my avi i was dressing down, but i do normally dress girly. i have some personality traits that some would consider masculine, but i think that just proves we're not all one dimensional. i love certain sports, so that's why i was sporting my hat. thank you for saying i look killer in those pics.. i don't know about that, but thank you : ) i'm sure you could pull off something similar. i think any woman can pull off a makeup look as long as she takes into account her eye shape, and coloring = )
Thank you!
Haha I totally agree with you. I am the same way. Just because I have thoughts and express them doesn't make me manly right?! lol. Anyhow totally get that. You are very welcome, it's true!! You did a great job!
Haha maybe I shall! 🙂 Gotta remember what I did first lol!So I got the Couture Color set in the mail... you get what you pay for.
The box is really nice and it comes wrapped up in a shiny
bronze bag. Sooo cute. Comes with brush & some oil too.
That sounds fancy! 😆
Did you try it out yet?! If not, hope it goes smoothly, good luck!
Finally yesterday! Haha. Been too busy with new school! It's a little dark but I haven't washed it yet so we will see tomorrow. Nice kit though, and my boyfriend's mom did end up doing it- she said the consistency was high quality. And it didn't stain! I will post pics. 🙂
Figured out the attatchments thing. Here is a pic of me from this morning. 100% no makeup, all I did to my hair is brush it that's why its so fluffy haha. I have some chin pimples that are way more red in real life and my hair is hiding a hairline breakout.
And still gawgeous!

DAT!
Hi everyone! I thought I'd share my eye makeup today. This is a fairly typical day for me. I like to use a skin toned shimmer on my brow bones, a shimmer gray over my lids and just above them, teal on the outer corners of my lids and blending to the middle, finishing with a blue on the corners.
Next, I line my top lids with brown liner, thinning the line as I get closer to my tear ducts. I follow this with a superficial lining underneath my lashes to fill gaps. After mascara, I swipe a bit of light blue liner under my lower lashes.
I like this look because it brings out blue or green eyes....yay, makeup!
follow up review on the Unii palette: it's really nice and all but if I have it in my purse by the end of the day everything is jumbled and moved and sometimes the pans jump on top of each other lol. plus little specks of eyeshadow get on EVEYRTHING. So I think its good if you are an eyeshadow junkie and want to consolidate into one palette - but keep it at home.
also follow up review on the Philosophy hope in a jar moisturizer: I thought it was ok and wouldn't break me out, being a reputable brand plus I very rarely break out from moisturizers, but this has disappointed me it's a nice formula but I have been using it every night for the past couple of days and I definitely have more little red pimples and clogged pores. I've also been putting it on my neck and I have some little pimples where my neck meets my chest, which is someplace I never break out. so I guess this stuff is a no-go for me

You know I have been using this for about 2 weeks and I am breaking out too. I haven't been breaking out in about a year. I am still using it hoping it would stop breaking me out since it is making my skin feel really nice. Poop.

Ingredients of Philosophy's Hope in a Jar: Water, Lauryl Lactate, Behenic Acid, Behenoxy Dimethicone, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Behenyl Alcohol, Cyclomethicone, Pentaerythritol Tetra Caprate/Caprylate, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Benzyl Alcohol, Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Stearic Acid, Panthenol, Beta Glucan (Oat Flour), Arginine HCl, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil (lavandula angustifolia), Xanthan Gum, Triethanolamine, Propylene Glycol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea, Imidazolidinyl Urea
The two bolded ingredients are classified as irritants listed on this website: http://www.zerozits.com/Articles/acnedetect.htm
I've been using the Great Skin is In kit for a little over 2 weeks now and I really can't say as to if there has been improvement or not. the retinol seems to be working well but I am still having breakouts...like I would be looking great and on my way to clear for a few days then BAM a chin breakout or hairline breakout (still getting over that one). The cleanser is nice but there's no salicylic acid, AHA, etc. I'm just glad I got the small set and not the big $65 one!!!
I really want to try out this Peter Thomas Roth Acne Clearing Gel w/ AHA + BHA. It's got fab reviews on Sephora and a couple people listed it as their HG product in AcneSlayer's thread.

I've also heard good things about Murads Clarifying Mask but the active ingredient is sulfur and I once tried DDF's sulfur mask and all it did was make the skin red wherever I applied it
I also want to try more DDF stuff...lol if I had all the money and patience in the world I would buy like everything and have a blast trying it out

I'm sorry you are breaking out too 🙁 but it's interesting it made both of us break out. I feel like this would be a good moisturizer for someone who actually has dry skin all over (unlike me). What did you think about the smell? I thought it was kind of gross :/
on an unrelated note I was super bored yesterday and so I slathered on some makeup (foundation, eyeliner, mascara, lipgloss) and took some pics so if I have time this evening I will put them up.
what is the best drugstore liquid eyeliner? I need some for prom and I don't know which type to get.
I got mine from Rite Aid for 99 cents. It was NYC liquid liner in black 🙂 The only problem is is that when it gets wet it washes off really easily, which is good for when you want it to come off, but not so much when you want it to stay on! You get what you pay for I guess... lol

yes i still suffer from acne, now at 19 though it seems to be getting a little less severe.
do comment and tell me what you think
you are so pretty! i'm going to try and attempt the recent neutral look you did.

my favorite is l'oreal lineur intense in carbon black. i like it so much bc of how easy it is to create a straight line. i'm a huge klutz, but the felt tip is a cinch once you get the hang of it.
what's everyone's favorite dark brown eyeshadow? or chocolate brown? i'm getting very bored with the browns i'm using for clinicals, since we're not allowed to wear any fun colors : ( thanks in advance, ladies = )

Wow Kat! I love the light shimmery neutral eyes look paired with the champagne lips. it is really natural and pretty. I would love to try that out sometime
I have to agree with sapphire lily
random note, I have found that after a few months of using sulfate free shampoo my hair is not nearly as greasy as it used to be. I haven't washed my hair in 3 days and you can barely tell. It's the same greasiness level as about 1 day of no washing with regular shampoo.

Ahh, you have to share what shampoo you're using. I'm using the off-brand of Nioxin - which is supposed to make thin hair look thicker - it worked at first but now my hair gets flat & oily within 24 hours. 🙁

I used L'Oreal at first...the name escapes me but it's in a silvery green tube. After it ran out I got some Organix shea butter shampoo cuz it was on sale. All the Organix shampoos are sulfate free which is nice 🙂
