whew this is a long thread, didn't read it all and did a
search for "shaving" with your username in it but it
returned nothing. so my question is what shaving cream
do you use? I am using Neutrogena Skin Clearing shave
cream and it contains 1.0% Salycilic acid...I'm wondering
if I follow this regimen, I need to cut it out and use something
like Edge or Gilette. I really like the Neutrogena and would
hate to cut it out but I'm also worried about over irritating
the skin with SA / BP wash.

as most o you know i cant get the C&C continuous control here in UK and i replaced it with the panoxyl 5% BP cream...
This is what seems to be hapening:
i put the BCS on and my but it does make my skin slightly dry but only in the morning, iv started going back to college now which means i pay a lot more attention to how bad my acne is, the BP cream which i put on of a night after using the BCS usually slightly burns as it is left on, also when i wake up in the morning and i just use the BCS after i have dried myself etc my skin seems to go dryer in places where i put the BP, too add to the problems i seem to get new pimples/whiteheads form in areas where i mainly apply the BP, im not sure if this is normal and if it will slow down and eventually start to work or not, im gonna carry on for a couple of months at least to see if there is any improvements, this is only day 5 i think, i am finding it hard tho now as i have to go to college aswell and trying to get my skin looking good is not being made easy because of the BP cream
It is normal, I just broke out and was gonna stop, so I only used the SA for one day til the dryness went away and I used cream all day. Now when I woke up today, all the pimpled have dried and my skin isnt dry itself.
I changed my regime
I use SA and BP washes both at night and in the morning but right after I use the Clear Logix Acne and Scar creme cause it get srid of scars, its LESS harsh and doesnt leave ur skin dry!
OK, so how long approximately does this white head forming thing last? I've been doing the regimen about 4 days now, I've noticed the number has dropped...but how long before most people see it stopping?
Also, what are some ways to take care of the red marks...cause I have light skin and with red marks it makes it look ugly.
Guys, I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to each day I live now. I started Sunday and the redmarks have dropped, the active pimples are fading. I just have a few more active pimples to go.... I'm so happy. This is like a miracle drug for me, so far.
My question is, will the success ever stop? I am getting a few small initial pimples here and there, but did any of you experience breakouts 1-2 or even 3 months down the road with this... I think its too good to be true and possibly Ill breakout really bad next week or so.
What should I be thinking? Just continue whats working and be happy??????
ps, i only do the BHCS in the morning and both at night. This is officially day 5.
when I first started which was a week ago I think, the first two days were great!! Then just like 2 days ago I broke uo, so donw freak if you break out, its just the acne coming to the surface but once that does and it heals, then in about a month you will start again with no clog pores and great skin and if you keep using great products you should stay clear!

ok, the day is drawing to an end, and i'm about ready to wash with BCS and Cont Cont for the third time together (only evenings)
i was just curious, how long until the initial breakout?
i was using BCS with on-the-spot and it was doing a pretty good job
so it's not like this is too big of a change on my face, other than a higher % of BP and the fact it's not on my face all night..
anyways, i think it was jade who said that his/her?? initial breakout came after 5 days. i could be mistaken..
what about everyone else (who has been on botchla's for a while)
also; are there any people here who have seen 0 improvment in their faces with botchla's even after a long time of using it? if you reply to this please specify how long you have been on the regemin
mine came within the first 48 hours and lasted 4 or 5 days. its day 13 and i still consider this the best regime i've tried. last couple of days i have been really dry..so again i'm going to cut back on amounts used.. i keep fluctuating depending on how dry i am. still going strong and still knocking on wood..

i was jus wondering............. about how many tubes of the C&C BHCS and the C&C continuos control thing did u guys use the FIRST week of this regimen?
cuz im already on 1 week and .....ummm......... 4 days, and i've already used up most of tha bottles.
so how long did it take u guys?
on the first week already done the bottles? holy shit man take it easy lol j/k. yea but my rule is, for hte blackhed scrub, about as much if not a little more than you would use on a toothbrush. and for the acne wash, well about hte same length, but it comes out thicker. yea the whiteheads are stopping, but they are coming up on my forehead which makes it look worse. oh well they will be gone soon.
Update: Week 1 day 6
Well, most people get over the breakout fast, but I guess I'mgoing alittle slower. My forhead has broken out, but mostly those BIG under the skin pimples, I hope they come to a head. My left cheek has gotten much less pimples, but the red marks are still there. My right cheek has a few, and they are all under the skin too. Around my mouth is where it's the worst, at least 3 on my right side, and 2 on my left. These are all the big under the skin ones.
Now, I am just curious, this is what is supposed to happen correct? It's bringing everything up from down under the skin where I couldn't see it? I'm just making sure.
I think I have been on it for a week now.....I did break out recently bad but I think it was the moisturizer so I dont use that anymore.
This is what I do and now im almost clear
Angela's regimen::
MORNING
wash with C&C SA & BP
I dont pat dry inbetween
also I take a multi vitamin
I then apply Herbal Logix acne and scar cream
NIGHT
I repeat those steps!!
I think the biggest diff is switching to Herbal Logix cause it fades acne scars INCREDIBLY and also is liek a moisturizer so Im not drying out from the washes!
I dont know whether to be happy or not, the bumps on my forehead seem to be dieing down, the cluster of spots on my right cheek bone seems to be fading out, hopefully they will go completely in a couple of days, but the thing thats happening now is that, as i put the Bp cream anywhere on any affected areas below my mouth it seems that it just makes it worse, if i have a small spot and put bp cream on it... then it by the bext morning it has turned into a whitehead that is normally pretty big, also i seem to have the cluster on my left cheek also turnng into whiteheads and its very annoying, i realy dont know whether to be happy, im hoping results will improve over the next week.
