Dan's regimen worked well at suppressing my breakouts, but the thing I didn't like about it was, I was constantly worried whether I had enough BP on my skin, whether it was still there, whether the rain would wipe it off, whether it was lasting long enough, whether I had to re-apply. Just so many worries.

I just hope that his BP gel will be better.

well, it's cleared up my chin 100%

the problem is is for me i cannot use this regimen any place else. neck? no way, way too sensitive. forehead? nope, the same. only downside i've found to it really, and it's probably a unique downside

Botchla if you are still around, or anyone else, i am using C&C scrub. i noticed my acne is reduced in size, and it comes to a head quicker. before i would get big red bumps that's very painful to touch. now seems the ones (very few) i get are mostly flat, red and will come to a small head. almost doesn't even look at it is inflammed, the head is dry too. i use to pop mature pimples a lot. but now i am not sure what to do with it, should i use a needle to pop those half dry heads, or it will naturally come off. honestly, i have never left my acne alone, i almost always interfere before it goes away on its own.

Please anyone let me know, to pop or not..

It can help, but its not what THIS regimen is all about. Its a wash with salicylic acid and another wash with benzoyl peroxide. Read the very first page of this thread, the very first post has all the answers and links to what the two washes look like.

Stick with it, guys and gals! I've been on this regimen for about 5 or 6 months now. I have been beautifully clear for the vast majority of the time. I had one breakout with a few of small whiteheads a month or so ago,and I almost gave up to try something new. But to call that a bad breakout for me was wonderful! Anyhow I stuck with it, it cleared quickly, and my skin looks better than it has ever before.

What I do differently though, is I use Dove bar followed by C & C shine free moisturizer during the afternoon because my skin is so oily (always has been). I also use both the scrub and cleanser followed by the moisturizer morning and night. But since it can cause a little redness, if I have somewhere to go immediately in the morning, I just use the Dove and moisturizer. Hope this helps someone. I used to have terrible skin, and now I can't believe it's me in the mirror.

After using a face-wash containing BP, is the bleaching effect of the substance still as great (or still there, for that matter) as while using a cream ?

If the 'bleaching effect' you're referring to, meaning that you see a residue on your face, then no. I don't feel or see the prescence of anything on my face after the BP wash.

What I mean is the bleaching of clothes or any form of fabric that comes in contact with the area of your body on which you applied BP. With the ointments this is kind of a big issue for me, but I don't know how this works with facewash. Does it effect your clothes? Only a towel? Mayby nothing at all ?

nothing at all, as it is washed off shortly after applied

just an update:

been on this regimen for about 4 and a half months... my skins is looking great except for d*mn blackheads that won't go away. a few super clogged pores that don't come to a head, and aren't noticeable, just irritating because i know they're there.

for moisturizer int he morning i use eucerin renewal. i think the AHA;s are helping with hyperpigmentation.

also on 6 g of B5 (for my back and chest), but my face has been good even w/o the B5

You wont know unless you try. I had it pretty bad, and it seems to work well. However everyone is different and if you read this whole thread then maybe there will be more insight for you...

Yes, this regimen will work for moderate acne. However, I think it doesnt do anything for the red marks. You have to buy something seperate for that. I did.
