I've been using the clean and clear products for a little over 2 months I think, I lost count. I use the blackhead scrub in the morning and both at night. I'm not clear yet, but also not too bad. My cheeks and pretty much the whole lower part of my face have had alot less zits over this time. The right cheek has no spots just red marks, the left side just got a few small red bumps and 2 average size ones. My forehead has been the toughest for me. It still breaks out every few days, throw in some red marks and it looks kinda bad sometimes. I have to say that it's no worse than before it just sucks compared to how the rest of my face has improved. I will stick with this for a while and hope that the improvement continues. Blotcha said that the blackheads cleared for him at the 3 month mark so I know there is still improvement to be made. Also my forehead has alot of large pores and clogged pores, I don't know the difference, and I think that has caused some of the problems and slowed the progess on that area.

a large pore is just that, a large pore. a clogged pore will resemble a flesh colored bump. often will result in a pimple of soem sort, but maybe not. all depends on you.

Does anyone in the UK know if these products are available here?

Thanks.

Botchla, I can't thank you enough for posting this simple, cheap, and above all, EFFECTIVE regimen! I use the Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub and Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask twice a day, once in the morning, once in the night. The Neutrogena has 3.5% BP instead of the Continuous Control which has 10% BP, for any of you who found the Continuous Control to be drying. I was already washing with the Neutrogena prior to incorporating the Blackhead Clearing Scrub anyway, so I just decided to use the two together and have found that they work wonderfully together. I would say I am 80% clear, as I just suffered one of my worser breakouts thus far, but mostly everything cleared up and now I'm just waiting for some spots to go away and for my complexion to even out. My skin has never looked better before. Thank you thank you thank you!

Question, though. I have an odd patch of unusually DRY skin on the bottom half of my cheek close to my jawline. I normally have oily skin, and this patch of dry skin has never been there before, and as far as I know, it shouldn't be there at all. Anyone else experience something like this?

to Turnakit - I noticed that I got more breakouts on my jawline using these 2 products together. Actually I know it was the C&C wash, maybe because of the mineral oil in it so I stopped using that and replaced it with the proactiv wash. So I use the scrub and the proactiv morning an night and use spot treatment as necessary. I haven't gotten anymore jawline breakouts. I think I had a reaction to the C&C wash...maybe my skin just couldn't handle it.

Or maybe you're not washing it off well enough.

I've also eliminated the C&C BP wash (still using the SA scrub) and replaced it morning and night by the proactiv repairing lotion (2.5% BP). It's been working much better for me.

Hey. I just got back from a snowboarding trip, and had to change my regimen sort of during it cuz I didn't want white crap all over my face. Here's what I've been doing:

1. Doing Botchla's Regimen on my forehead. Haven't gotten any zits, just this one tiny tiny tiny like you can't even see it bump.

2. Doing Dan' regimen @ night using Eucerin Renewal as a moisturizer, then in the morning using the C&C Continuous Control BP Cleanser and applying a tiny bit of C&C Shine Control Moisturizer. No zits really (knock on wood)

Holy Crap. My red marks have faded so much! WTF lol?!?!? Was it the 5 degree snowboarding weather and having my face so frozen that I couldn't talk? Or was it not having BP (cream) on my face 24/7? I don't know, but right now this is awesome. I wish I had school this week just so I could look good haha. I really hope this works out. I decided to start using the BP Cleanser because I didn't want the white residue of the cream during the day, and also because I wanted to make a transition to doing Botchla's regimen. I'm going to keep doing it on my forehead until I've been doing it there for 2 weeks, and if it stays clear, then I think I'll move on to using it on my whole face.

I think what might have been breaking me out all along is my moisturizer. I've always absolutely slathered my skin in it, not really rubbing it in. This past week, since I was both pressed for bathroom time as well as almost out of my Eucerin Renewal, I was using less as well as rubing it in completely when I did Dan's Regimen at night, and then using very little C&C Shine Control (cuz you don't need to use much) during the day. Could this have helped my acne? Hmmm.

Also, I thought before that I had oily skin, but I guess it was just that I was applying a buttload (there we are again, not gonna say chocolate in the same sentence njacobs don't worry) of moisturizer. So that's cool.

This stuff makes your skin so soft! It's awesome, it's never been like this before. Especially after using the C&C Moisturizer too it just feels great.

SJ: Update on me saying how my skin kind of stung after Botchla's regimen: Well, it kind of continued to sting (mostly after applying the C&C Moisturizer to my forehead). Not too bad though, and it was mostly after I would like scrunch up my forehead. Now, though, I don't have to use moisturizer on my forehead cuz it's gotten used to the regimen and my skin doesn't sting at all. So that's cool. What's your progress been on this regimen? Would love to hear.

So hopefully my skin will stay so nice. It's seriously almost completely normal color (which is definitely a good thing). The skin tone is almost evened out. Perhaps we should investigate the combination of Dan's Regimen with the C&C BP wash and its effectiveness... Will keep you posted.

Ok ok I started this regimen today. I'm 23 with mild-moderate acne and I've been on Dan's Regimen for a pretty long time...5-6 months (I lost track)...and it has really worked for me. I haven't had a pimple for about 4 months. But I wanted to give this a try because it's much much less time consuming and less expensive too. My skin is pretty used to BP so I'm using the BP Wash (which is only 5% Benzoyl Peroxide here in Canada) morning and night. I also moisturize afterwards with Neutrogena Moisture SPF15. Hope it works well for me

Trying this starting tonight. Hopefully, this will work and then I can focus on controlling the red scars I have, new and some very old. BTW, I tried diluted vinegar on them and it burned my skin so bad! It was so painful and dry...

I do.I am going to cut back to once a day and try some B-5.My skin has been getting a little dry as of late.So know I wash with purpose in the morning and use the scrub and bp at night.I still get zits, but the are small and go away in about 3-4 days.clean and clear states on the bottle it can be used twice a day.the scrub say once daily.go figure.

Well, kinda. I use it once a day in the morning, and then at night I do Dan's regimen. I still have to use moisturizer but it isn't too drying (and I have dry skin).

I used Dermafinas foam wash 2% SA (very gentle), and then washed with the On the Spot Neutrogena with 2.5% that I bougth for Dan's regimen. I use the on the spot and just smear it on and then wash it off!!

This worked great./ Overnite!!! No new pimples formed all nigth or day, and my skin was not as dry as if I leave stuff on it..I did though put a little Neutrogena on the spot BP 2% on the worst older pimples. The pimples did not even come up to the surface they just dried away and disspeared inside!!! GONE on my forhead, and dried up and without any infections on my cheek! WOW! In one nite and one day!!!!

I did also take 3 Ibuprofen to help decrease the inflammation. I also used Proactive Oilfree Moisturizer with SPF15 in the morning which helped the dryness. I would not need the on the spot BP2.5 %though because it dried me out too much.

( I will however go back to my Proactive because I just love that product, have had success for over 4 1/2 yrs but ran out and tried something else...BAD [-X so had to do Emergency treatment with your stuff!!) I will keep this routine for when I am out of Proactive, in between getting more, and I plan on using BP2.5 % for on the spot treatment if I run out of the Proactive Blemish Control (which is for on the spot treatment as well).

BTW Proactive cleared both me and my brother in just a week, and I had severe acne when I just started it...I have not seen a dermatologist in 4 1/2 yrs, =D> but before that to have control of my acne I was on topical antibiotics and other dermatology stuff. No other nonprescription stuff has worked before without causing more harm. Have tried most prescription stuff too, except accutane. But THANKS for all the tips here, I think it is great because everyone can try and mix whatever works for them!!!

I do. I use both the scrub and the BP cleanser in twice a day. I have had no trouble with irritation or dryness. I am totally in love with my moisturizer - and I do notice if I wait too long between washing and applying my moisturizer that my skin feels a bit tight. So, I would highly suggest using a good moisturizer that doesn't break you out if you use the products twice a day.

I'm a girl, so here's my routine:

morning:

SA wash

BP wash

moisturizer

night:

remove make up (olay cleanser)

SA wash

BP wash

moisturizer

Well I have been using Botch reg for almost 5 weeks and so far its GREAT!! Although if you asked me about a week ago I would have said its not so good...The reason being is I had breakouts after breakouts from week one. However, those breakouts werent as bad (the pimples werent as inflammed) so it wasnt that bad, it just sucked because they kept coming. I use the scub twice a day and the 10% bp wash twice a day too. In the last five days I have started to use the 3.5% bp wash made by Neutragena in the am and the 10% in the pm. My face never really got overly dry, but I still used an oil free moisturize and sunblock. As for the redmarks they are fading really quick too! I guess all that exfoliation helps with that. I was only going to give this reg six weeks and then give up, but as of now this is one of the best regimens I have tried, and I am glad I stuck it out. I never got the jawline acne that people talk about, I just got my acne in the usual places.

Go Eagles!!!!

I'd say the C&C Shine Control Moisturizer works well if you're on this regimen. After that, I'd say Eucerin Renewal.
