For those who got hair loss while taking B5, were you not taking a multivitamin or a B-Complex while taking the B5? I'd love to know.

I've taken the solgar inositol for two days and the headaches have gone so maybe it was the brand I was using.
Yeah the dry lips are awful I find that whenever my lips are at there worst the shedding also seems to be more profound.

i tried saw palmetto for two months and all I got was a large increase in hair shedding and I do mean large increase it was like I was still taking the b5

I also was talking b5 alone

4 months on fin and not much difference with my hair to be honest. Still shedding pretty bad but probably nowhere near as bad as when i first started. Positive news is still no side effects. Still, I'd be lying if i said I wasn't a bit disappointed, although it's still early days.

Bosie, stick with it; theoretically, many have had success with fin, and if no sides then all the better.

Many say it takes at least a year before you see results.

Are you taking pics of your hair each month to compare?

Thank you for your update and please keep us updated!!

Re: Selsun blue

A lot of guys on raypeat forum are using it for hair loss too.

It has 1% inorganic selenium, which inhibits PGD2. (good for hair loss)

I have been using it every other day for a little while, 5min on, rinse, then another 5min on, then rise, total time of 10min.

How often is everyone using Selsun Blue?

Hi guys,

A few years back, I also tried to treat my chronic acne by megadosing on B5, and similarly started to lose my hair shortly after. Like many, I tried different things to reverse this with limited success.
I think I have finally zoomed in on the root cause. Shortly after I startedtakingb5 my stool had also changed (and kinda stayed that waysince). Lookingback, Ibelieve that that was a sign ofb5 megadosingthrowing my gut microbiome out of kilter. The more I thinkabout it, the more I'm convinced that the symptoms I wasexperiencing, includingthe shedding, weredue to a "leaky gut"caused by acandida "overgrowth". That's why a low-carb,healthydiet in combination withprobiotics and other gut-beneficial remedies (colostrum, spirulina, hydrolyzed collagen, etc.) seem to help. Thecandida hypothesis can be tested by applying adecent topical antifungal agentto the scalp to see if it makes a difference. For me, the GAPS dietalong with the daily use ofciclopirox shampoo/clotrimazole cream have pretty much stopped my hair shedding.

have you also noticed thickening of your hair?

can you please break down a typical day of what you will eat from morning to night?

The GAPS diet has no diary, and low carbs, right? What about greek yogurt, kefir, etc?

Can everyone please take your body temperature upon waking ? (and other times of day but upon waking most important).

My bodytemp is very low (95-96, NEVER over 96) and it should be 98.6.

My TSH is high at 4.23 as well. I seem to be hypothyroid for sure.

When body temp is low, your entire metabolic rate is slowed down, and that means hair is not important at all and will likely lose hair or be iof bad quality.

Is this the one travelleruk? https://se.iherb.com/pr/solgar-inositol-500-mg-100-veggie-caps/48587
Its says is veggie but that shouldent matter, right? Also says you should take 2-3 pills a day with food. You took 1 every other day(with food)? I just want to copy your exact moves. Thanks for giving me hope again

i recommend people start taking Taurine at 6g to 9g a day

Jesus that's alot of inositol watch your testosterone man. I'm using a transdermal anti estrogen atm as my test was low. Feeling great atm not really taking inositol anymore just pop a pill every now and then.

There's a supplement that's getting alot of attention on the bodybuilding forums atm called follidrone 2.0 people reporting great things 1 being thicker hair. It contains a very potent ecklonia cava

Very interesting thanks dude!

Ecklonia Cava has some research into it and there are theories and reasons why it's good for hair.

Apparently great for erectile dysfunction too, etc..

Potent anti-oxidant with a long halflife.

Not sure don't really take it anymore as i think it was giving me a few spots and I havnt had any spots for about 6 years now. May take 500mg every other day instead but I'm trying to get my testosterone high as I can and hopefully my hair will get better. I've had high estrogen and low test for years and my hairs been shit.

Do you know if you have low test? Get yourself a quality ecklonia cava, an anti estrogen if you have low test I'm using iron legion virtus it's amazing stuff and also get some botanical craft they do a new capsule version now.

There's other things coming out too brotzu lotion looks good but replicel and rivertown look really good. Also the new peptide foxo4 looks like a possible cure.

But yeah besides that I'm just going to wait for brotzu or foxo4

I'm worried to use it again now...

I highly recommend you guys to test for "leaky gut" and get your microbiome mapped out. Right now UBiome is running a promotion and anyone can get their "gut explorer" test done for free using a promo code found on slickdeals.
