Hey,

I am still shedding a lot of hair but I'm only my fourth day of using Atomidine so I didn't expect any drastic improvement yet.

I am using Atomidine in a cycle of 1 2 3 2 1 drops per day for 5 days, off 5 days, and 1 2 3 2 1 drops per day for 5 days. Here is the website: http://www.edgarcayce.org/are/holistic_health/data/thatomi1.html

Still have yet to look into acetyl l-carnitnie. I will do that tonight.

Anyone else have an update?

Thanks.

I want to point out that only 3 people (me, chillman, guy from healthboards) who actually cured their hair loss, continued taking b5, maybe this is part of the cure?

No news from me, all remains the same. I might consider adding the l-carnitine in an attempt to lower my current 8g dosage.

I am still taking half a gram of B5 per day, along with 1 gram of L-cysteine, 1 gram of NAC, 1 gram of L-Methionine, and a B complex. My skin is 100% clear but I am still shedding.

I just added the Atomidine 4 days ago.

If we can figure out this hair loss issue, we will have essentially cured most cases of acne since b5 is so effective. The world is depending on us.

This may be the case who knows...I've heard that your body can't handle the sudden drop in b5 which almost everyone does when they notice hair loss. Has anyone to this point tested their cortisol? Thyroid might be out of the question considering Blue's came back normal.

Therefore who knows if the atomidine will work? Keep us updated pjj.

Well I must have been on NAC for a month now and I'm in the situation where my hair is growing back but falling out at the same time. I think that is pretty common with B5.

My hairline is looking less receded BUT it is looking thinner than ever in general at the front so who knows, I'm going to give it some time and hopefully the hair growth will overtake the hair loss. I won't hold my breath though because I've been waiting for that to happen for nearly 2 years.

On another note my skin isn't great at the moment and I'm going to be 25 soon, it's about time it sorted itself out naturally! Not only has acne messed up my skin but it's also messed up my hair in trying to cure it!

Guys my hair has recently slowed right down in shedding and now I can only pull out 1 hair with a pull test, I've stopped taking all vitamins now and the only things I'm using are a caffeine based shampoo it's called Schwarzkopf or something, but I think the maim thing was the argan oil. I've only used it 3 times and my hair has stopped shedding, let's hope this is a cure. Il keep you posted

Hello all

Sorry for my belated update, it was supposed to be on the 3week mark, it has now been 4weeks.

Here is my update on acne & hair.

After the continued dosage of 3g b5 daily & NAC 1.7g daily:

With my skin I have noticed slight improvements, again nothing majorly new to the 1st report made, my skin is somewhat calmer & isnt as agrevated by

monthly's or junk food, but i'm pretty sure that was similar to my 1st report, & congestion plus occasional breakouts continue.

BUT

Something I have noticed in the last 2days I have begun taking source naturals L cysteine 3grams daily & even though it's too early to tell I must say my skin is

exceptionally clear this morning, congestion much calmer, & just looks all round better, but could be due to something else, will update in another 3weeks.

As for my hair, well there's no hair loss but I can't help but notice how transparent my scalp has been of late I think due to loss in hair density rather then hair loss, strange, I have never expereiced this before, usually it's hair loss not hair density loss, but there you go.

Decided against increasing my dose of b5, will remain on 3grams daily this week only, then will lower my dose to 1.5 grams daily for the coming weeks & provide another update.

I will continue with NAC 900grams daily L cysteine 1.5-3grams daily & will begin including Alcar 500mg daily.

I may start incorporating my hail loss meds Finestiride once daily

Till the next update

Has anybody tried the conventional treatments like Propecia or saw palmetto?

I'm quite interested in Avodart especially since it seems to be very good at reducing oil and acne as well.

If I could cure my acne, oily skin and hair loss with one pill that would be amazing.

Also seems to help with weight gain as well which would be cool because I struggle to gain weight lol.

Please, Pjordan, keep updating, I would like to give B5 a try, but just with the doses you are taking 500 mg B5/ 1 g L-cysteine, because I refuse to take megadoses of any vitamin ( adverse side effects )

I just bought pantothenic acid and took 1000mg but I've decided to stop because of what I've read about hair loss. Would it be safe to continue with l-cysteine or has that been debunked?

Give b5 a shot

At least a month I dont think it will cause any permanent damage.

It definitely could cause permanent damage. I took B5 for 10 days (between 3-6 grams). After day 7 I started shedding hair and it has now been almost 2 and a half years and has not stopped...

Some experienced hair shedding from only using 1 gram of B5 a day

Nakedsmurf:

As we tried to explain to you before, we are not trying to encourage others to start taking B5. The vitamin obviously has serious adverse side sides, even at a low dose and if taken for a short period of time. What all of us are trying to do here is keep people away from B5, at least until we find a cure. We want to warn others of its harm so they do not experience hair loss like us. Please try to understand this.

I been on b5 when I was 16 clear me up took b5 (been) for 4 months ( 22 now) n I'm clear again no hair loss.

AGAIN I'm not telling ppl what to do I'm just sharing my experience not everyone has your body you problably have some other bullshit. B5 might have not work on you and other ppl but the fact the b5 is on the research as an acne prevention is a fact.

Accutane works for some not all.

B5 works for some AGAIN not all.

Try to understand.

I never denied B5 doesn't help with acne. B5 worked for me. It cleared my skin.

BUT, it's not just me that has experienced hairloss. So you can't say my body "has some other bullshit". Hundreds of us have had hairloss due to B5. That is a fact.
