thanks... and fruits are stricly eaten during your "eatting scheduled time".. correct?

 

I wanna give this a shot for 4 days and see how things progress.

 

So far this after noon, at 5 I drank alot of water (34 ounces), had subway (CCT footlong) at 7:30, drank another 50 ounces of water just awhile again at 9:40 and have not stopped drinking water. Im prepping for tomorrow.

 

Tomorrow I will eat cereal (frosted mini wheats), a banana, an orange, and a powerbar at 8... and so on..

 

For 4 days, im strictlk sticking with solids, no ice cream or oatmeal. or any of that sort.

I already see progress, now thats considering I stopped taking creatine, which BROKE me out massively for a week. I stopped tuesday.. so that may play a role... but if I clear up sooner than expected I will thank this new water regimen.

yep jimmy i eat fruit as a food, even if its super juicy. im a big fan of eating fruit for breakfast smile.gif.. i hope it works for you, but it sounds like its going to wink.gif

so I'm on this too for 1 offical day now.

I ajusted the diet a little:

 

wake up 2X3 glases of water.

=wait 2 hours=

eat fruit till 12 o clock (4/6 pieces of fruit)

 

-eat anything you want

 

=later at night wait 2 hours before go to bed=

drink 2X3 glases of water.

=wait 30 minutes then go to bed=

 

this way I don't have to wait periods of 4 hours cause I'm allready sleeping those other 2 hours biggrin.gif

 

however the drying out effect of not drinking water the HOLE day, only in the morning and evening (splashing your body totaly full with new clean water) has helped some peeple in curing a lot of things, only never heard of using it for acne.......

So far so good. At 9 I ate some cereal, only cereal. Right now Im drinking 50 oz. of water. Im really looking forward to 1, and then 3 again.

 

I love this type of challenge. So far so good. My pee, i know i know how digusting, is still quiet watery looking which is a sign im not dehyrdated even with a 4 hour break. Usually it can become yellow and thats a bad sign. But I'm going to go play baseball later and ill be drinking water nonstop. so i guess i have to wait 2 hours from the time I stop drinking water, which can become 5 or 6 pm.

I have started your water regimen about like 3days ago.. seems to be going ok.. still getting little breakouts here and there but like blackheads nothing serious we will see how it goes huh.gif

hey everyone, sounds like yall are doing great! jimmy, usually if i drink lots of water at each 'water interval' my pee will be almost clear all day! smile.gif hehe, and it also makes me feel kinda impowered in a way, i guess i had to take meds so long for acne, an now i can really keep it under control just by monitoring when i eat/ drink. and yakushi- thats an interesting point, becase the affect this has on me is amazing- i cant figure out if its just the fact that im not drinking water with food, or if its that i am splashing my body full of clean water.. i mean honestly, sometimes ill get a teeny tiny pimple throughout the day, then after a few 'eating/ drinking intervals, i can literally see it going away! now keep in mind, sadly this didnt cure me, but it keeps me well over 90% at any given time.. an ive been doing it for almost 2 months now, with consistant results. smile.gifsmile.gif

ok.... I'm in a bit of a bind because I just began lifting weights regularly and i want to take supplments etc... I was on creatine for 2 weeks, and while i was on the loading phase I say no improvements or new pimples popping up, but as some as the 2nd week came around I broke out.

 

I have been clear now of all supplements but I would like to take protein shakes post workout. I don't know what to cosider the protein shake as....

 

I think it'll be my "food scheduled break". I use 2 cups of 2% milk, and some fruit to make the shake. It's not too watery, kinda like a shake.

 

I dont know though.

yea, if i eat that sort of thing (protein shakes with fruit) i always consider it a food.. i actually have been drinking a shake made to 'detox' my blood .. its alot like a protein shake, thick an gritty with water in it.. but anyways. this stuff even has IODINE (i break out from this) in it, an so far i havent had too many problems (maybe one or 2 small pimps)... but yea definitely treat it as a food, and if i were you i wouldnt drink it with anything else (no solid food, just the fruit that u put in it) also, when im drinking one of these, even though i consider it as a food, i will let myself drink water in like only an hour, because since this is kind of liquid form. it doesnt take time to digest smile.gif

im gonna take the shake like right now and consider it food... I drank 50 ounces of water earlier today at 12:30. I should be good for some more water at 4:30 and then eat at 6:30.

 

 

The shake should provide some good calories along with some hydartion.

I decided not to take the shake. I know you're not a professional at dealing with acne and diet, as it was just a coincidence that this worked. But I have a question.... let's say I had a protein shake at 3 pm, and then wanted to eat again at 4 or even 4:30 pm.

 

Is that Ok as long as water is not involved 2 hours before and after? thats the way I see it. If water wasn't drinken before for 2 hours or after for 2 hours, its ok.

 

 

Thanks for all your help with my questions. I feel this is going to heal me in 4 days. My face has improved in 12 hours drastically.

Jimmy,

I don't think you need to stress over things like that. the main concept behind this is water/fluids can dilute the stuff that your body is trying to get out of your meals. The shake has a purpose and its probably more important to get that into your body than to worry about how that shake might be diluting something else you ate.

 

This isn't something thats going to completely cure acne, so it doesn't need to be followed incredibly strictly. you can still have soups and liquids at meals, just understand that if you down lots of liquids during a meal, your body might not be absorbing everything it can, it still will absorb quite a lot though.

jimmy- that is completely ok!! smile.gif i do that all the time smile.gif.. it doesnt affect anything at all.. i have really tested this method alot, an the only thing that really messes it up is drinking lots of fluids near meal times.. but it sounds like you are doing awesome!!! smile.gif keep truckin, the rewards are worth it. an i know it seems like a pain in the butt right now, but ive gotten so used to it i dont really think about it anymore, it hasnt bothered my daily life much at all.. an again super is right about it not suring acne, but it is nothing short of a miracle what it has done for me, after that first week, the results held up, an my bad acne has never returned. i still have very minor acne though, but i mean like 5-6 small pimps tongue.gif so it is wonderful smile.gif

i went to a baseball game tonight, and around 4:30 i had one cup of soda 5 minutes previous to what I was gonna eat. I then drank about 30 minutes after.

 

I think I did an ok job today.

 

Ill try staying more persistent.

 

So far, I have only had 3 meals today. I am so surprised because im usually a heavy eater at all times of the day, especially now at night. but instead im eatting a frostie and drinking some water

Hello all

 

Have been following this thread and am very intrigued... Tried it yesterday but found it just a little bit too strict as it meant that you can only eat or drink at 4 hour intervals, and I got very hungry and light-headed. Since they say water only takes 30 mins to leave the stomach, and food about 1 1/2 hrs, I think i'm going to start by trying the following regimen...

No water for 1 hour before eating (instead of 2), and no water for 2 hours after eating (like you're already doing)

 

Any thoughts, Caroline?

KT- that sounds great.. i have had water a bunch of times about 1 1/2 hours after i ate, and this didnt cause a problem at all.. an now i know why thanks to your info wink.gif i also will only wait an hour after drinking water to eat again sometimes, well most of the time these days, an this still works great for me. so you guys can lower the time frame, just be cautious about it. smile.gif

im gonna do the 30 minutes before and 1:30 minutes after. Which means, Ill drink water at lets say 12pm, eat at 12:30, and then drink at 2. It's around a 2 hour time frame... That doesn't mean Im gonna eat every two hours. I'm gonna plan ahead and if I am gonna eat at 5:30, ill drink some water at 5 and wait for more water at 7.... this is my new minimum. I can go as long as 3 or 4 hours when time is not an option.

Here is my take on this whole thing. It is definitely helping my stomach issues. As far as my skin i'm not sure but i think what this does is makes things easier on ur digestive system which can lessen acne. we cannot just snack and eat all day long which puts constant strain on ur system. this forces us to space things out and therefore makes it easier on our bodies. as far as drinking during meals, i think u can have a vey small amount of liquid with meals to take pills or wash it down- just very little. i agree with eveyrone about keeping it 1 hour before and 1 hour and 1/2 after

i am not eating any carbs and im following this diet by drinking water waiting 10min then eating and then waiting 1hr &half -2hrs and i have like 3tiny nothing zits and i feel very healthy its great. bb_icon_cool.gif

-so yesterday I only drink 1,5 litre in the morning

-waited 2 hours (not 30 minutes cause my stumack has to restore its acids, thinking about taking a B complex to make the enzyme's restore faster)

 

-ate only apples till 6 o clock in the afternoon,

-then ate normal meals and did not drink anything and gone to bed.

so only drank once during that day in the morning.

 

I'm doing the same thing again today.

 

 

my skin looks a lot better but its way to early to deside... bb_icon_rolleyes.gif

im seeing results. im doing the 2hr/2hr/ rule. as tough as it is, the good outweighs the bad. you may be hungry or thirsty but once you do it for 4 days straight, you know youre onto something.

 

ALong with my newly acquired "botchla"s regimen, the days are numbered. I say another 2 weeks and at this rate, i could be 95% clear.

 

right now im about 60% clear.
